Claims (34)

  1. Control device (2) for remotely controlling the user of a personal weapon (1), with:
    a wireless interface (3) for communicating in a mobile telecommunication network (7),
    a detector (4) for determining an event from said personal weapon (1),
    data processing means (5) for processing a signal from said detector (4), for preparing a data message with the information received in said signal and for sending said message over said wireless interface (3), characterized in that

  8. Control device (2) according to the preceding claim, wherein said detector (4) comprises a sensor for detecting the shots fired by said personal weapon (1).
  9. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 7 or 8, where said data message contains the time of day and the date of said at least one shot.
  10. Control device (2) according to the preceding claim, where said data message is marked with a time stamp.
  11. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 9 or 10, where said time of day and said date are taken from said telecommunication network (7).
  12. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 9 or 10, where said time of day and said date are taken from a satellite location-determining signal.
  13. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 7 to 12, where said data message contains the identity of the user of said personal weapon (1) when said at least one shot was fired.
  14. Control device (2) according to the preceding claim, where said identity is determined by an identification module (6) in said control device.
  15. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 7 to 14, where said identity is determined and/or verified with biometric parameters of said user.
  16. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 7 to 15, where said data message contains the location of said personal weapon (1) when said at least one shot was fired.
  17. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 7 to 16, where said data message contains an identification of the projectile that is fired during said at least one shot.
  18. Control device (2) according to one of the preceding claims, that is adapted for receiving messages over said wireless interface (3).
  19. Control device (2) according to the preceding claim, where said messages can contain commands for temporarily and/or permanently blocking said personal weapon (1), where said control device (2) serves for interpreting and/or forwarding to the weapon (1) said commands.
  20. Control device (2) according to one of the preceding claims, where said mobile radio telecommunication network (7) is a cellular mobile telephone network.
  21. Control device (2) according to one of the claims 1 to 20, characterized in that comprising a display und/or a warning light, which is activated, when the weapon is remotely controlled and/or remotely supervised.

    sending said message over a telecommunication network (7),
