- EP-0787866B1 Another known embodiment provides ( EP-0787866B1 ), that in each case matched to a layer of wooden beams machine screws are inserted into predrilled holes, wherein the screws are operatively connected by threaded holes are provided in the head of the screws into which the threaded end of the shank of the next screw can be screwed , It is formed by a kind of continuous mounting rod, the head of each screw is supported respectively at the top of a wooden beam.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a wooden wall construction using screws, which is quick and easy to manufacture and in which an optimal attachment of the supported wooden beams can be done.
- the wooden beams are connected to each other by at least at its two end portions with threaded portions screws which are screwed without pre-drilling and only over part of the height or thickness of the wooden beam and thus intervene only in the immediate mutual contact region of the two wooden beams , wherein the length of the screws is formed smaller than the height of a wooden beam.
- the screws engage according to the invention only in the immediate mutual contact region of the two wooden beams and are screwed in without pre-drilling. There are only much shorter screws necessary, which are therefore particularly deeply sunk. Due to the much shorter screws to be used a special material and therefore cost savings can be achieved. In addition, the insertion torque is substantially reduced compared to a long screw by the much shorter shaft with a thread. Due to the much shorter dimensions of the screws used in the invention also results in a faster and shorter set time. The creation of a wooden wall construction is much easier and faster by the inventive measures. - the screws are each screwed in pairs crossing each other at an acute angle to the longitudinal extent of the wooden beams or transversely to this. It is quite conceivable that the intersecting screwed screws are also at an acute angle to the vertical center plane of the wall made of wooden beams wall construction lying vertical planes.
- the screws are thus screwed without Vorzubohren, so that a significant reduction in the assembly time occurs.
- the screws 2 can be provided only in the region of its two ends with a threaded portion 3 and 4. But it is also conceivable to provide a continuous thread over the entire shaft length. In the context of the invention, different thread forms, different thread pitches and different ratios between core diameter and outer thread diameter are possible.
- the training and mode of action to be formed on a free end drilling and / or Eindringpitze can be performed in various ways.
- the shape of the screw head is variable, but is to be designed so that it can be brought into the deeply recessed position within the wooden beams without any special problems. It is also conceivable that in the case of two threaded sections these have a different thread pitch.
- a surface coating is also advantageous for the screws used here.

- the screws 2 can be screwed in with a screwdriver bit whose shaft adjoining the engagement region for attachment to the screw 2 or an imaginary enveloping cylinder of this shaft has a diameter which is equal to or smaller than the diameter of the section of the screw 2 surrounding the inner tool attack 6. Further, this shaft has a length for bridging the range of height B of the wooden beam 1 from the réellewerkzeugangriff 6 of the screw 2 to the upper or lower limit and further to the screwdriver bit. As a result, a proper drive of the screws can be accomplished until the final setting position, without an additional torque increase is caused by the screwing forth.
- the screws 2 are - if strip-shaped sealing materials 7 are used - arranged between inserted at the edge regions of the mutual contact region 5 of the wooden beams 1 sealing materials 7.
- the cross-sectional shape of the wooden beams is to be designed in a variety of ways when using the measures according to the invention.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a wooden wall construction in blockboard construction, wherein stacked and optionally adjacent wooden beams are connected to each other by means of screws which bridging the mutual contact area of two wooden beams are screwed from the top or bottom of the two wooden beams and only over part of the Height or thickness of each wooden beam are guided.
The present invention has for its object to provide a wooden wall construction using screws, which is quick and easy to manufacture and in which an optimal attachment of the supported wooden beams can be done.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the wooden beams are connected to each other by at least at its two end portions with threaded portions screws which are screwed without pre-drilling and only over part of the height or thickness of the wooden beam and thus intervene only in the immediate mutual contact region of the two wooden beams , wherein the length of the screws is formed smaller than the height of a wooden beam.
The screws engage according to the invention only in the immediate mutual contact region of the two wooden beams and are screwed in without pre-drilling. In particular, this ensures that the compound retains its efficiency even in the volume changes of the wood parts to be joined due to shrinkage and swelling. The compound remains stiff even after multiple fading and swelling of the wooden beam.
In this context, it is advantageous if the screws protrude on either side of the mutual contact area approximately equally far into the adjoining wooden beams. It is therefore always ensured a sufficient mutual attachment of two superimposed wooden beams. In both wooden beams, the screws are anchored in the same way.
The simplest type of mutual connection of wooden beams is that in the mutual contact area of two wooden beams in each case at least two screws are screwed at a distance approximately parallel to each other aligned.
A design variant provides that the screws are threaded over their entire shaft length. This can be advantageous for manufacturing reasons. The transmission of tensile forces can be improved by a longer thread engagement.
Furthermore, it is provided that the screws have an inner tool engagement at their one end, wherein the diameter of the portion of the screws surrounding this inner tool engagement is approximately equal to or only slightly larger than the outer diameter of the thread. In this way, it has become possible without a particular increase in the insertion torque to sink the screws without pre-drilling a hole so far that the screws engage only in the immediate mutual contact region of the two wooden beams.
The inventive type of mutual attachment of wooden beams in the construction of wooden wall structures also allows the simple sealing of the mutual investment area between two wooden beams. For this reason, it is also provided that the screws are inserted between arranged on the edge regions of the mutual abutment region of the wooden beams or inserted strip-shaped sealing materials.
A variant provides that the screws are screwed in at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the wooden beams. Thus, the shortest Eindrehstrecke is given.
Another possibility is given when the screws are screwed in at an acute angle to the longitudinal extent of the wooden beams. As a result, even higher tensile and compressive forces can be transmitted in the mutual connection. The shear forces to be transmitted, ie the forces acting in the horizontal direction, can be dimensioned considerably higher.
In this context, it may be advantageous if the screws are both at right angles and at an acute angle to the longitudinal extension of the wooden beams, optionally alternately sequentially, screwed. Depending on the required power transmission can thus be used the most optimal solution.
In this case, an additional possibility is that the screws are each screwed in pairs crossing each other at an acute angle to the longitudinal extent of the wooden beams or transversely to this. It is quite conceivable that the intersecting screwed screws are also at an acute angle to the vertical center plane of the wall made of wooden beams wall construction lying vertical planes.

- Vertikalschnitte durch übereinander geschichtete Holzbalken verschiedener Querschnittsformen, welche durch Schrauben miteinander verbunden sind;
- Fig. 4 bis 6

In the shown wood wall construction in log construction
The screws are thus screwed without Vorzubohren, so that a significant reduction in the assembly time occurs. The
