Description

The invention relates to a light and heat radiator as a combination radiator for the delivery of heat radiation and light with at least one heat radiation emitting heat radiator and at least one light-emitting light-emitting element. The heat radiator can be any heat radiator, in particular emitters radiating infrared radiation, all light sources, in particular halogen or LED lamps, being considered as the light source.

A combination radiator with lighting function of this kind is from the DE 101 07 972 A1 known.

This known combination radiator is suspended under an awning and there gives off heat in the form of infrared radiation and light. For this purpose, both the heat radiator and at least one light-emitting element is arranged in a common carrier box.

Although the known combination radiator can already emit heat and light together and thus exert a dual function of an electrical connection, but they have the disadvantage that often the light radiation should be directed in a different direction than the heat radiation. For example, a person staying below an awning wants the heat radiation to be directed to the person's body, while the light radiation should be directed to the area of a table in front of it. Furthermore, it is often desired for thermodynamic reasons that the heat radiation be directed in a particular direction. Thus, for example, the heat radiation can be directed against a wall on this wall, so that it is reflected there and indirectly affects the people. Thus, it can also be avoided that the heat radiation can escape unhindered into the open and is given away as useless. In contrast, the lighting integrated in the combination spotlight should usually illuminate the area under the awning directly.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a combination radiator, which is able to deliver heat and light in different directions.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that characterized in that the heat radiator is arranged in a first housing and the light-emitting element is arranged in a second housing, wherein the first housing is rotatably connected at least one direction of rotation with the second housing.

The inventive design, the heat radiation and the light radiation can now be directed in different directions. For this purpose, only the lighting element and / or the heat radiator in the second housing or the first housing must be rotated in order to set the desired radiation direction. If spoken in this context of housing, this is a receptacle for the light element or the heat radiator. This does not have to be a closed housing, but rather a cage-like receptacle or the ring receptacles known from the commercial halogen spotlights can also be used.

Preferably, the combination radiator on a fastener for attachment to a wall or ceiling surface. However, it is also possible that the combination radiator is provided with its own feet, to be able to be set up as a stand-alone device on a balcony, for example. The first housing may, for example, be rotatably hinged to the second housing, so that both housings are rotatable relative to one another. It is also possible that a plurality of second housings are provided which are attached to a single first housing or to a plurality of first housings. Thus, a wide variety of functional components, first housing and second housing or other elements may be connected in series with each other, wherein each of the heat radiator and the light-emitting element bearing first and second housing are rotatable relative to each other.

In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first housing and the second housing are arranged in a common radiator housing. In this way, results in a compact lamp, wherein on one of the side surfaces of the radiator housing recesses are arranged, in which the first and the second housing are arranged such that the heat radiator and the luminous element can each radiate an outwardly directed window.

The heat radiator and the luminous element are preferably mounted in the first and the second housing, that they are rotatable about at least one axis, However, it can also be provided a ball bearing, so that any orientation is adjustable or a two-axis bearing, the one Adjustment in two mutually perpendicular axes of rotation allows. In all cases, the pivoting movement of the luminous element or the heat radiator may be limited in order to prevent inadmissible heating of the housing and thus overheating of the luminous element, for example in the case of the heat radiator.

Both the light element and the heat radiator can have separate switches so that they can be switched on or off independently of each other. These switches can be connected via standard cable connections to the heat radiator or the light-emitting element or can also be arranged directly on the combination radiator. A radio circuit via a common radio transmitter connection is possible. In this embodiment, even at times when heat radiation is not needed, the light-emitting element can be used. Furthermore, during the daytime, when possibly daylight is sufficiently available, only the heat radiator can be used without additional power consumption by the light element that is not required.

In the case of a wall mounting, the first and / or the second housing is preferably arranged on a fastening element, which can be fixed to the wall or a ceiling. In the simplest case, this is a U-shaped support having an elongated base with holes through which it can be screwed to the wall or ceiling. The two legs of this U-shaped support are then formed, for example, as bearing blocks, between which one or more housing elements can be attached. Thus, a first or a second housing may be rotatably mounted between the two bearing blocks, wherein two pivot bearings are arranged on a continuous through both bearing blocks axis of rotation. Instead of a single housing and a combination of a plurality of housings can be arranged side by side.

In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, further housings are also provided next to the two bearing blocks, in each case on the outer sides. Thus, for example, between the two bearing blocks of the heat radiator can be arranged and on the two opposite sides of the bearing blocks Be provided lighting element. All three housings are then rotated about the axis of rotation, which extends through the two bearing blocks parallel to the fastener.

Both the heat radiator and the luminous element can be arranged in the first or second housing such that it is rotatably arranged in addition to the rotatability of the first and second housing within this housing. In this way, a second axis of rotation can be realized.

Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and from the following description of a preferred embodiment with reference to the drawing.

The combination radiator has a U-shaped fastening means 5, which is provided along its base with holes through which it can be screwed to a wall of the ceiling. The two legs of the fastener 5 are formed as bearing blocks 6, wherein between the bearing blocks 6, a heat radiator 1 is arranged, which in turn is mounted in a first housing 3. The first housing 3 is rotatably mounted about the rotation axis D on the two bearing blocks 6.

On both sides of the bearing blocks 6, a further housing, namely a second housing 4 is arranged, in which a luminous element 2 is mounted. The second housing 4 are rotatable relative to the first housing 3 of the heat radiator 1, so that individually the direction of light and the emission direction of the heat radiator is adjustable.
