Um zu verhindern, dass das Verriegelungselement 20 sich von der Kupplung 10 wieder löst, kommt der Frontbereich 21 zur Anlage an einer Anschlagfläche 142 der Rastmittel 14. Durch die Montage des Verriegelungselementes 20 in Vorraststellung schnappt der Frontbereich 21 in die Ausnehmung (Freisparung) 141 formschlüssig ein. Nuten 26 des Verriegelungselementes 20 sind dazu vorgesehen, dass sie die Platte der ersten Rastmittel 14 zwecks einer Längsführung umgreifen. Gleiches gilt für Ausnehmungen 27, die eine Führung des Verriegelungselementes 20 in Verbindung mit den Stegen auf der Platte der ersten Rastmittel bewirken. Dadurch ist eine Doppelführung gegeben, die eine einfache Längsverschiebung des Verriegelungselementes 20 an den ersten Rastmitteln 14 bewirkt. Alternativ dazu ist es denkbar, nur die Nuten 26 oder nur die Ausnehmungen 27 an dem Führungselement 20 zwecks Führung vorzusehen. Claims (6)

  1. Coupling (10) or plug (30) of a plug connection, wherein the coupling (10) or the plug (30) has first latching means (14) by means of which, with the plug connection assembled, a first latching (primary locking) between the coupling (10) and plug (30) occurs, and wherein the coupling (10) or the plug (30) has a locking element (20) which can be fitted to the coupling (10) or the plug (30) and is longitudinally displaceable in the plugging direction between a pre-latching position and an end latching position, wherein the locking element (20) is designed in such a way that it is displaceable into the end latching position only when the plug (30) is situated completely in the coupling (10) (or vice versa), wherein the locking element (20) is arranged on the first latching means (14), characterized in that there is provided a cross-web arrangement (16) having two cross-webs (161, 162) which extend parallel to one another and which together form an aperture (32) for a latching lug (25) of the locking element (20), wherein the locking element (20) has a front region (21) with two steps (22, 23) and the latching means (14) have a cross-web (143).
  2. Coupling (10) or plug (30) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the locking element (20) has, starting from a gripping part (28), a tab (24) with the two-step front region (21).
  3. Coupling (10) or plug (30) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the first latching means (14) are designed as a plate, wherein the plate is connected to a housing (11) of the coupling (10) or of the plug (30) via a web.
  4. Coupling (10) or plug (30) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the locking element (20) has grooves (26) which engage around the plate and act as a guide for the locking element (20).
  5. Coupling (10) or plug (30) according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the plate has webs, wherein the webs correspond with recesses (27) of the locking element (20) for the purpose of guiding the latter.
  6. Coupling (10) or plug (30) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking element (20) has no means for guiding it on the latching means (14), in particular on the plate.
