Claims (12)
- Coiling device for a rolled strip, comprising at least one drivable trough roller (1) for rotation of a coil (2) during coiling up or uncoiling of a rolled strip, as well as with a roller path arranged upstream or downstream of the coiler, characterised in that the trough roller (1) is formed with at least one resiliently deformable casing ring (4).
- Coiling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the working surface (3) of the trough roller (1) is formed with a series of mutually adjoining casing rings (4), which with enclosure of a core (5) of the trough roller (1) with a diameter difference are uniformly supported by means of support bodies (6), which are spring-loaded from inside against the casing rings (4), in such a manner that they load the contact surface (7) of the trough roller (1) with the coil (2) over the entire length (L) thereof with uniform contact pressure.
- Coiling device according to claim 2, characterised in that the support bodies (6) are constructed to be bowed at the contact surfaces thereof in adaptation to the inner circle of the casing rings (4).
- Coiling device according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that each support body (6) is lined at the back by a packet of plate springs (8) with presettable biasing force.
- Coiling device according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the support bodies (6) are clamped in place in the casing rings (4) with biasable spring force.
- Coiling device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the casing rings (4) increase in outer diameter towards the centre of the trough roller (1) to provide compensation for a load-induced warping thereof which is computable or which is calculable according to experience.
- Coiling device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that mutually adjoining casing rings (4) are provided with an oblique chamfering with respect to the adjacent casing rings (4).
- Coiling device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the running surfaces of the casing rings (4) are formed with a small dishing (9) which does not, however, exceed the amount of the diameter difference.
- Coiling device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that each time two trough rollers (1, 1') arranged at a predeterminable, axially parallel spacing co-operate with one another for acceptance of the load of a coil (2).
- Coiling device according to claim 9, characterised in that at least one of these trough rollers (1) has a rotary drive.
- Coiling device according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the trough roller (1) comprises a solid central shaft (5), a centre ring (11), which is on the shaft (5), for reception of spring-loaded support bodies (6) and circumferential rings (4) with an outer running ring (12) for acceptance of the load.
- Coiling device according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the contact surface (7), which forms during rolling along a coil (2) and which is, in particular, concave, is automatically adaptable by means of the elastically resilient flexible casing rings (4) to the usually spherical circumference of the coil (2).
