Description
The invention relates to a mixing method and a device for level control in containers to be mixed pasty multicomponent materials.
Multi-component materials for automix systems are offered in tubular bag films or double cartridges. All components must have the same volume or, in the case of mixing ratios deviating from 1: 1, the same fill level, so that the correct ratio of the components is discharged during the application.
Verfahren bekannt. In general, the individual components are passed through a mixing attachment (hereafter referred to as a "mixer") with a static or dynamic mixer before being fed to the application and later cured. Such mixing attachments are usually placed on the discharge device or the metering device for the cartridges or tubular bag. US Pat. Nos. 6,352,177 and 5,788,122 disclose such devices and methods.
Since it is not possible for technical reasons, always set exactly the same level when filling the cartridges / bag, it comes at the first application of materials usually overdosing one of the components.
The resulting incorrectly metered mixture then remains even during the further promotion and mixing partially still in the mixer and is delayed. The material with the wrong mixing ratio often does not harden and must therefore be disposed of in pasty form, which can lead to contamination. As a result, relatively large quantities of material often have to be discarded. One manages with the fact that the components are squeezed out until the user thinks according to his experience that a functioning hardening mixture has arisen. This can lead to further increased material loss.
The object was to develop a device which is used to bring all individual filled with components to be mixed chambers of the container to an equal level before the multi-component material is promoted by a static or dynamic mixing essay aufzusetzten then, and is inexpensive to produce and causes little loss of material and as little pollution.
The object is achieved by a hollow attachment according to
The material to be discarded is then inside the device cavity. Thereafter, the hollow article is discarded with the discharged material and replaced by the functional mixing attachment.

Conveniently, the empty housing of the mixing attachment without the otherwise existing mixing element can be used as a hollow attachment. This part already has the necessary attachment device for attachment to the discharge. It is possible to make the outlet opening closable with a lid or to equip it with a valve. In this way, a clean recording and disposal of the discharged material is guaranteed.
The means for placing on the metering device may e.g. Screw thread or plug, latch or bayonet joints, as they are familiar to the expert.

The material flow flows through the
