  12. Safety lock according to Claim 11, characterized in that the locking unit (2) is provided in a mirror-symmetrical manner in its housing (8) with slots (11) which are located on opposite sides and are intended for the introduction of the actuator (4).
  13. Safety lock according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the locking unit (2) has a housing (8) and an insert (19) which is inserted into its housing (8), in which the catch (16) is mounted in a pivotable manner and which forms a channel for the actuator (4).
  14. Safety lock according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that a housing (3), which accommodates the actuator (4), has a trigger element and the locking unit (2), which has a housing (8), has, in its housing (8), an associated response element (36).
