Zum grundsätzlichen Aufbau der in Fig. 1 dargestellten
Brandschutztür gehören eine Türzarge 1 mit einer Dichtung 2

3. Das Türblatt 3 besteht aus einer kastenförmigen Halbschale
4 aus Stahlblech, einem mit der Halbschale 4 verbundenen
Deckel 5 und einer Türfüllung 6 aus feuerfestem
Material. Der Deckel 5 weist an mindestens drei Umfangsflächen
überstehende, U-förmig abgewinkelte Randabschnitte
auf, die einen als Hohlkörper ausgebildeten Türfalz 7 bilden.
Dieser ist mit einem Blähmaterial 8 ausgefüllt, welches
bei Erhitzung expandiert und durch die expandierende
Wirkung den Türfalz 7 im Brandfall bis zum Anschlag an der
Türzarge 1 aufbiegt (Fig. 2). Das Blähmaterial 8 enthält
als expandierenden Wirkstoff beispielsweise Vermiculargraphit,
der mit einem thermisch beständigen Bindemittel
gebunden und verfestigt ist. Bei Erhitzung auf Temperaturen
oberhalb 150°C expandiert das Material unter Erzeugung
eines erheblichen Blähdruckes, wobei die Volumenvergrößerung
ein Mehrfaches des Ausgangsvolumens beträgt. Andere
expandierende Materialien mit ähnlichen Eigenschaften
sollen nicht ausgeschlossen sein. Ein Teil des Blähmaterials
tritt aus dem sich öffnenden Türfalz 7 aus und
dringt in den Spalt 9 zwischen Türblatt 3 und Türzarge 1
ein (Fig. 2). Hierdurch wird der Spalt 9 zwischen Türblatt
und Zarge zusätzliche abgedichtet und gedämmt. Unter dem
Blähdruck wird der U-förmig umgebogene Schenkel gegen die
Türzarge 1 gepresst, wobei das Türblatt 3 umfangsseitig in
der Türzarge 1 so fest verspannt wird, dass das Türblatt 3
im Brandfall innerhalb der Türzarge 1 stehen bleibt und
Verformungskräfte infolge Hitzeeinwirkung aufgenommen
