An intake elbow, in particular for internal combustion engines, consisting of a basic body (110) which has a plurality of half-shell-shaped longitudinal recesses (111 - 114) which extend in contact with each other, and of a cover (122) which has half-shells (123 - 126) which are connected by webs (127) and which, together with the longitudinal recesses (111 - 114), form intake manifolds, characterised in that the webs (127) are of U-shaped design and in that a duct (115) is formed between each of the adjacent recesses (111 - 114), which duct is intended to receive one web (127) each, whose beam (129) is to be brought into contact with the bottom of the duct for welding, and whose legs (128) form extensions of the contact face of the half-shells (123 - 126) with the basic body (110).
  2. The intake elbow, in particular for internal combustion engines, according to Claim 1, characterised in that the distance between the free edge of each half-shell (123 - 126) and the outer face of the beam (129) of the web (127) is slightly greater than the distance between the free edge of the duct (115) and the bottom of the duct, so that there is sufficient material for welding between the beam (129) and the bottom of the duct (115).
  3. The intake elbow, in particular for internal combustion engines, according to Claim 1, characterised in that at least one web (118) projects from the bottom of the duct (115).
  4. The intake elbow, in particular for internal combustion engines, according to Claim 1, characterised in that a protrusion (132) extends from one of the sides of the basic body, which protrusion can be welded to an arm (133) which projects from the side of the outer half-shell, which no further half-shells follow.
