Claims (10)

  1. Device for securing emergency exit doors or the like, which can be placed below the door handle (1) in the movement range thereof and having a housing (2, 4), which is vertically displaceable in the mounted state on a device mounting plate (3) fixable to the door from a normal position into an alarm position in which the door is released, a locking bolt (8) biased by a compression spring (15) positively engaging in an opening (18) of the mounting plate (3) in the alarm position, characterized in that the housing is held in the normal position by the biased locking bolt (8) by frictional connection to the mounting plate (3) and in the mounted state, after leaving the normal position, drops into the alarm position automatically under the action of gravity.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that in the normal position the locking bolt (8) is located in a locking depression (11) of mounting plate (3) and on pressing down the door handle (1) through compression of compression spring (15) is moved out of the same and passes into an opening in the mounting plate (3) forming a guide rail (18) so as to occupy the alarm position.
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the locking depression (11) and/or the face of the locking bolt (8) are designed conically and in tapered form.
  4. Device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that, prior to occupying the alarm position, the door handle (1) can be moved into a prealarm position and from the latter by the spring tension of the device back into the normal position.
  5. Device according to claim 4, to the extent that it is directly or indirectly dependent on claim 2, characterized in that, for fixing the prealarm position, the locking depression (11) is constructed in a slide (9), which is mounted in the mounting plate (3) and is displaceable to a limited extent against a return spring (10).

Device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the housing is formed by a lid (2) and a base plate (4), which carries the locking bolt (8) and the compression spring (15) biasing the latter and is slidingly guided in the gravity direction on the mounting plate (3).
  9. Device according to claim 8, characterized in that the lid (2) contains a combination lock (30), which secures the lid (2) on base plate (4) and which by means of a toggle lever (12, 14) raises the locking bolt (8) counter to compression spring (15) for an unhindered movement of lid (2) with base plate (40 out of and into the different positions.
  10. Device according to one of the claims 8 or 9, characterized in that a remotely controlled electric motor (20) is provided which, by means of a rack and pinion drive (21), raises the locking bolt (8) counter to the tension of compression spring (15), so that the lid (2) and base plate (4) move under gravity action into the alarm position.
