Abstract

The locking mechanism (1) consists of a long bolt or similar on the service door/window acting via a control mechanism with a peg to operate the long bolts (18A, 19A) on the semi-fixed door/window, and a catch (23) on one door/window engaging with a matching one (24) on the other. The control peg has a head linked to the matching catch mechanism and extends through a headpiece for a length at least equivalent to the gap between the window/door mechanisms.

Description

The invention relates to a door locking fitting, window or other, with two leaves, one for service and one semi-fixed leaf, mounted at least pivotally on a sleeping frame without central mullion, said fitting comprising a cremone bolt, bolt lock or similar, fitted to the leaf service and provided with at least one operating rod extending at the rear of a headrest in rebate of the front upright of this service leaf, said operating rod being provided a control finger intended to act on a coach of bolt, bolt lock or other, implanted in the rebate of the front upright of the semi-fixed leaf.

The present invention will find its application in the field locking fittings, more particularly intended for doors, windows or the like, with two leaves and in the absence of a central mullion at the level of the sleeping frame.

In this regard, it is usual in the context of such a door or window to have a leaf, called semi-fixed, that it is necessary to close first on the sleeping frame, in the measure as the second leaf, called service, comes up to its front amount, overlapping rebate of the front amount corresponding to this semi-fixed leaf.

Note that it is usually equipped at this level. rebate of its front upright, in particular at its end upper and / or lower, of a lock whose latch is at even to cooperate, through an end likely to be projecting in the upper or lower part of the leaf, with a strike located in correspondence with the level of the upper or lower cross member of the frame.

If the order of this or these locks can be ensured manually, it can still intervene, in particular for locking, through the fitting fitted to the leaf service. Such an embodiment is very particularly described in document FR-A-2,787,500 which, moreover, evokes the problem reduced space available in rebate between these two leaves of a door or window without central mullion.

This small space between the front pillar of a service leaf and the corresponding one of a semi-fixed leaf also generates difficulties when it comes to ensuring, through the cremone bolt or bolt lock fitted to said service leaf, at less locking of the semi-fixed leaf by action on its or its locks, even on a bolt lock.

For this, the lever (s) for operating the cremone bolt or cremone bolt corresponding to the service leaf is usually equipped with a roller projecting in a protruding manner the front of the headrest to be able to cooperate with a coach, usually in the form of a keeper, which is provided the latch of a bolt or the rod of a bolt-bolt in rebate of the amount of the semi-fixed leaf.

In sum, we substitute for the locking function that usually fills such a locking member in the form a roller associated with the operating rod, that of a ordered.

Furthermore, if we take into account all the constraints set out in the prior art documents, there are results an almost systematic variation of the dimension separating the control finger, cooperating with said driver, and the cremone bolt control mechanism or bolt lock. He ... not can be satisfied with these constraints only by an adaptation specific of the cremone bolt or cremone bolt, which, in a constant search for standardization is not acceptable.

To this is added the problem of rebate play, between the front upright of the service leaf and the semi-fixed one which, usually being very small, in many cases prevents of figures, the location at this rebate, of a control finger in the form of a locking roller provided able to cooperate with a coach adopting the form of a spoils.

This problem, raised in the context of the document FR-A-2.787.500, was resolved by sparing, in the rebate of these front uprights of the different leaves, notches more deep allowing to embed, more, the elements of fitting to allow the passage, for example, of a latch bolt or the installation of a striker.

In seeking to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks, as part of a first inventive step, noted that in many numerous configurations a lever or lever-lock adopts a very simple design in the form of a control mechanism housed in a main housing secured to a headrest the back of which move one or more rods of maneuver. These have, at a free end, attachment means provided capable of cooperating with means additional attachment of a control member corresponding to an extension, a lock, a changeover movement or a reversing lock, or even a return angle, completing this cremone bolt or bolt lock.

In fact, such additional attachment means can still be associated with a control unit of a housing auxiliary housing the mechanism for bringing into a protruding locking position or, on the contrary, in a cleared position unlocked a locking member, type hook bolt, deadbolt or other, under the action of said operating rod.

These attachment means are usually defined by a toothing on the side edges of said operating rod provided capable of cooperating with the teeth that the walls have side of a corresponding “U” structure termination to the additional attachment means associated with said ordered.

It is understandable that in such a design it is quite easy to adjust the corresponding control elements cremone bolt or bolt lock to the extension, to the bevel gear, to the auxiliary box, etc ... from the service leaf to those corresponding to a semi-fixed window door window or analogues, insofar as the rod of this lever or lock bolt is easily cut at its end, the length likely to be cut depending on the length of the toothing extending over its lateral edges.

Furthermore, this design makes it very easy to associate to the bolt or bolt lock relative to the case of the main mechanism the function of reverser allowing to act on across a single rod in directions opposed. This operation in opposition is often necessary to guarantee the locking of a leaf at the level of upper and lower ends of its front upright.

Similarly, it can easily receive, under these conditions, a which, again, considerably widens the range of application of such a cremone bolt or bolt lock relative to the size of the openings to be fitted.

In a second inventive step, we thought of associating the control finger to act, through the lever or locking bolt fitted to a service leaf, on a bolt or a lock bolt that has a semi-fixed leaf, not directly to the rod of this lever or cremone bolt, but with additional fastening means that includes a control member, corresponding to a lock and / or an inverter and / or an extension, etc ...

Finally, this control finger function is no longer directly associated with the basic components of the lever or cremone bolt, namely its main control mechanism or to its operating rod (s) on which is able to act said mechanism, which goes in the direction of the standardization sought.

Furthermore, by adopting the shape of a simple nipple and not that of a locking roller, this control finger is very easily adjustable to the backlash of the service leaf and semi-fixed leaf.

Thus, the invention relates to a locking fitting for door, window or other, with two leaves, one of service and one semi-fixed leaf mounted at least swivel on a fixed frame without central mullion, said fitting comprising a lever, bolt lock or the like, fitting, in rebate, the upright front of the service leaf and acting on at least one rod maneuver extending behind a headrest and provided with minus a control finger intended to act on a coach a bolt, a bolt-lock bolt or the like, installed in rebate of the front upright of the semi-fixed leaf, said rod maneuvering system further comprising attachment means intended for cooperate with additional attachment means of a control member corresponding to a lock and / or an inverter and / or an extension, characterized in that said finger control is defined by a stud associated with said means of additional and planned attachment able to extend to across the headrest over a length at most equal to the clearance rebate between the front uprights of the service leaf and the semi-fixed leaf.

Advantageously, the coach equipping the bolt or the cremone bolt semi-fixed leaf lock also comes in the form a nipple provided able to cooperate with that defining the control finger associated with the service leaf at least way to allow the bolt or the bolt lock to be pushed back into the locked position under the action of the locking command for the bolt lock, bolt lock or similar to the service leaf.

As shown in Figure 1 of the accompanying drawings, the the present invention relates to a locking fitting 1 for door, window or other 2, comprising at least two leaves 3, 4, in particular a service leaf 3 and a semi-fixed leaf 4 pivotally mounted on a sleeping frame 5 without mullion central.

Said locking fitting 1 comprises a lever, lever-lock or similar 6 with which the service leaf 3 is fitted on the rebate edge of the front upright 7. This lever or cremone bolt 6 has a main case 10 rendered integral with a headrest 11 and in which is housed a mechanism control 9 acting at least on an operating rod 12 extending above and / or below this main unit 10 at the rear of said headrest 11.

In particular, this command of the operating rod or rods 12 has the function of ensuring the locking of the leaf of service 3 with respect to the frame 5 at the height of the ends 13, 14 of its front pillar 7.

In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, the control mechanism 9, here of a bolt lock 6, acts again, through an operating rod 12 unidirectional extending on either side of the housing main 10, on the control mechanism of housings auxiliaries 15, 15A housing a locking member, of the type hook bolt 16, which, in the locked position, is provided for even to emerge from the headrest 11 so as to cooperate with a keeper arranged in correspondence in rebate of the front upright 17 of the semi-fixed leaf 4.

Note that the locking at the upper ends 13 and lower 14 of the amount before 7 corresponding to the leaf of service 3 intervenes through locks 18, 19, that 18 to the upper end 13 being a reversing lock in the extent that the control mechanism 9 acts, here, on a single monodirectional operating rod 12.

To return to the attachment means 23, these are defined, according to an exemplary embodiment, in the form of a toothing 27 which has on its side edges and its free ends 21, 22, said operating rod 12. These teeth 27 are able to cooperate with shaped teeth conjugate formed on the internal side of side walls 28 of a connection profile 29 of U-section defining the additional attachment means 24 associated with the command 25.

Ultimately, in this U-shaped connection profile 29, of which the opening is oriented towards the rear face of the headrest 11, fits said free end 21, 22 of the operating rod 12.

Note that these teeth 27 on the side edges of the operating rod 12 extend over a certain length allowing the cutting of the latter and of the headrest 11 to the back of which it extends.

This allows adjustment of the lock-bolt 6 to the size of the front pillar 7 corresponding to service leaf 3.

It should also be noted that at the upper free end 21 the cooperation of the operating rod 12 with the bolt inverter 18 intervenes, in reality in the embodiment shown, through an extension 30 composed of a rod assembly 12 'and headrest 11' with which comes to cooperate the rod 12 and headrest 11 assembly of the lever or lever-lock 6, in particular by means of a device for junction 31.

In fact, let this cooperation take place through this last or directly, the rod 12 of the cremone bolt or lock-bolt 6 is provided with hooking means similar to those described above provided capable of cooperating with additional attachment means associated with a control which, as the case may be, defines the operating rod 12 ' extension or a suitable connecting rod of the device Junction 31.

Finally, as appears from the above description, we found in many cases this type of cooperation between means for attaching an operating rod and additional attachment means of a control member. So, as shown here, when the rod-headrest assembly is extended by a lock or a reversing lock, or even a extension which can still take the form of a reference angle. But it can also intervene between the case main 10 of a cremone bolt or bolt lock 6 and a case auxiliary 15, 15A as shown in Figures 2 and 3.

To return to the semi-fixed leaf 4, this can be kept individually closed on the frame 5 that the service leaf 3, either open or closed.

In particular, the locking fitting 1 comprises, at level of this semi-fixed leaf 4, at least one latch, preferably two, 18A, 19A, at each end upper 13A and lower 14A in rebate of the front upright 17.

According to another embodiment, this semi-fixed leaf 4 can be provided with a lock-bolt (solution not shown) comprising at least one rod extending at the rear of a headrest and provided suitable for locking at the ends 13A, 14A of the amount before 17.

Anyway, the cremone bolt or bolt lock 6 fitted to the service leaf 3 includes at least one control finger 32 provided capable of acting on a trainer 33 making it possible, during a control for locking said bolt or bolt-lock 6, the simultaneous locking of the lock (s) 13A, 14A, or even a bolt lock, of the semi-fixed leaf 4.

Advantageously, a control finger 32 is in the form a stud 34 associated with the complementary fastening means 24 that includes a lock 18, 19, an extension 30, an inverter or other, this stud 34 being provided capable of coming to extend to the across the headrest 11 over a length at most equal to the clearance rebate 35 between the front upright 7 of the service leaf 3 and that 17 of the semi-fixed leaf 4.

Thus, the headrest 11, at its end 36 located in the extension of said lock 18, 19, of the extension or other, has an oblong opening 37 determined for the passage of this stud 34 and whose length is defined relative to the race communicated to the latter through the rod operation 12.

According to an advantageous embodiment, this stud 34 is riveted in an opening 38 of the U-shaped connection profile 29 defining the additional attachment means 24. This opening 38 and, therefore, the stud 34 is formed, preferably, beyond the free end 21, 22 of the operating rod 12, avoiding fitting also in the latter of an opening for the passage of this stud 34.

In short, when designing the cremone bolt or bolt lock 6, it is no longer necessary to worry about whether it comes to equip a door or window with two leaves whose semi-fixed leaf is fitted with bolts or a lock bolt maneuverable through the lever or lever-lock of the service leaf. Indeed, this control function of these locks or this lock bolt is now assigned to additional parts completing the lever or lever-lock.

As for coach 33, he too is constituted, advantageously, by a stud 34A secured to a member of 35A control, such as a rod, a latch or the like, corresponding to said locks 18A, 19A or to the lever lock that comprises the semi-fixed leaf 4. This pin 34A is again planned to extend to the level of the rebate play 35 over a distance at most equal to the latter.

It should be recalled that the provision one with respect to the other of these nipples 34, 34A corresponding, respectively, to control finger 32 and to the coach 33 is such that the leaf service 3 and the semi-fixed leaf 4 closed, the control of the cremone bolt or bolt lock 6 at least towards the locking leads to locking of locks simultaneously 18A, 19A or to the bolt of the semi-fixed leaf 4.

Note, in this regard, that depending on the direction of movement given to the operating rod 12 to obtain the locking, the 34A pin can be associated with a changeover movement defining, substantially, the control member 25A acting on the lock 18A.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the latches 18, 19, equipping, at the ends 13, 14, the front upright 7 of the leaf service 3 and on which acts the lever or lever-bolt 6 through its operating rod (s) 12, are identical to locks 18A, 19A located at the ends 13A, 14A of the front upright 17 of the semi-fixed leaf 4.

Such a lock 18A, 19A from which extends, at one end, the member 25A control unit provided with additional hooking means 24A may, depending on the embodiment envisaged, be or not connected by the latter to an operating rod.

However, these additional fastening means 24A are, in turn, likely to be fitted with the 34A pin of so as to cooperate, under the conditions mentioned above, with the pin 34 of the locks 18, 19 at the service leaf 3.

Therefore, if, as in the embodiment described and illustrated, the cremone bolt or bolt lock 6 of the rod one-way operation 12 acts on the one hand, a lock reverser 18 and a standard lock 19, the semi-fixed leaf 4 is fitted, in correspondence, with an 18A reversing lock and a standard lock 19A.

As already mentioned above, such nipples 34, 34A corresponding, as the case may be, to a control finger 32 or a driving finger 33 can be associated with means additional attachment 24, 24A that includes a command 25, 25A which does not necessarily correspond to a lock or reversing lock, but also to an extension 30, a junction device 31 or to a simple inverter.

As is apparent from the above description, the present invention has successfully addressed the problem posed.

Claims (6)

Locking fitting for door, window or other (2) with two leaves, one of which is a service (3) and a semi-fixed leaf (4) mounted at least pivoting on a sleeping frame (5) without central mullion, said fitting (1 ) comprising a cremone bolt, a lock bolt or the like (6), fitting, in rebate, the front upright (7) of the service leaf (3) and acting on at least one operating rod (12) extending to the rear of a headrest (11) provided with at least one control finger (32) provided capable of acting on a driver (33) of a bolt (18A, 19A), of a bolt-lock bolt or the like , implanted in the rebate of the front upright (17) of the semi-fixed leaf (4) said operating rod (12) further comprising hooking means (23) intended to cooperate with complementary hooking means (24) of a control member (25) corresponding to a latch (18, 19) and / or an inverter and / or an extension, characterized in that said control finger (32) is defined i by a stud (34) associated with said additional hooking means (24) and provided capable of coming to extend through the headrest (11) over a length at most equal to the rebate clearance (35) between the front uprights (7; 17) of the service leaf (3) and of the semi-fixed leaf (4).
