Description
The present invention relates to devices for packaging and applying a product, in particular a cosmetic or care product, and in particular a transportable device for packaging a small quantity of product and for applying it.
In the field of cosmetics or care, it is common to condition the products as a single dose. Such packaging is frequently used for samples intended for example to have the products tested to customers. Such packaging is easily transportable in a handbag which avoids taking away for a day or a weekend, a bottle or a cumbersome and difficult to carry.
There are already sachets containing liquids or creams serving for example samples. However, the opening of such bags is not easy because the product tends to come out of the bag when torn to open. In addition, such packages require the use of fingers to apply the product, which is not always desirable because this type of product is often used outside his bathroom, it is common that we can not wash hands after application.
There are also sachets containing wipes impregnated with liquid. Such bags are more easily used, their opening in particular being easier because the product is retained in the wipe. However, again, the fingers are in contact with the product during application.

Also, is it an object of the invention to provide a device for packaging and applying a product that does not have the disadvantages mentioned above.
It is particularly an object of the invention to provide a compact device and easily transportable.
Another object of the invention is to provide a device for packaging and applying a product which is rechargeable.
It is yet another object of the invention to provide a device which allows a practical application of the product, in particular which is easy to hold while deforming sufficiently to facilitate the application of the product by avoiding contaminating the fingers of the product. 'user.
Other objects will appear in more detail in the description which follows.
According to the invention, these objects are achieved by providing a device for packaging and applying a particular cosmetic product comprising a first part, and a second part which, in a closed position, delimits with the first part, a closed volume, said second portion being integral with an applicator at least partially compressible and able to absorb said product, said applicator being configured so that, in said closed position, it is at least partly compressed to the inside said closed volume, and may, at each opening of the device, after it has relaxed, contain substantially all the packaged product in said device.
Thus the user can, after opening the device, apply the product holding the portion of the packaging device secured to the applicator without the fingers being in contact with the applicator, and therefore without the product soiled the fingers.
The applicator makes it possible both to substantially contain all the packaged product in the device and to apply it, thus limiting the size of the device by using only one element providing two functions. No additional product tank is provided in the device. In addition, device containing little product, namely a quantity of product allowing for example between one and five applications, we can use a small applicator so as to achieve a compact device and therefore very easily transportable.
Moreover, when the user opens the device, the applicator while relaxing pump any residual product present in the closed volume and the entire product is maintained by impregnation in the applicator so that it is not likely to sink out of the device. The product can be pumped mechanically and / or by capillarity and be housed for example in the pores of the applicator.
The applicator is attached to the second part by gluing, welding or clipping. For example, the applicator can be bonded to the second part by means of an adhesive composition by melting the material, or else thermally, ultrasonically or at high frequency welding.
According to a preferred embodiment, the applicator is made at least partly of compressible porous material, in particular open or semi-open cell foam, felt or sintered of one or more selected material (s) among polyurethanes, polyesters, polyethers, polyvinyl chlorides, ethylene vinyl acetate. It is also possible to use an applicator consisting of several different materials, in particular a stack of foams of different types and / or density (s). The applicator can also be flocked. The applicator may also be made of material capable of absorbing the product, for example cotton, and be covered with an elastomer film at least partially perforated to allow the passage of the product.
It is advantageous to choose a hydrophilic or lipophilic material, depending on the product that is absorbed by the applicator, so as to promote the absorption of the product in the applicator. The applicator may also contain an adjuvant for water or oil, depending on the product that is absorbed in the applicator, in order to maintain the product in the applicator. For example, a silica or an alginate will be chosen. Thus, the applicator can be saturated with product without it tends to flow out of the applicator. It will thus be possible to dispense with additional means on the first and second parts ensuring the tightness of the device and to control the rate with which the product leaves during the application. The applicator can also contain preservatives which make it possible to preserve the product present in it.
According to a first embodiment, the first part forms a housing delimiting an opening adapted to be sealed by said second part. The first part is for example formed of a metallic material, in particular an aluminum or a brass, a metalloplastic complex, for example a polyethylene - aluminum - polyethylene, a polyethylene terephthalate - polyethylene - aluminum - polyethylene, a polyethylene terephthalate oxide silicon - polyethylene - aluminum - polyethylene or a thermoplastic material, obtained by stamping, thermoforming or thin-wall injection, chosen in particular from polyethylenes, polypropylenes, polyethylenesterephthalates, polyvinylchlorides, polyacrylates, polyamides. It may be provided to have additional accessories, for example a small mirror, in the first part, near the housing.
The second part consists of a latched cover, screwed or articulated on the first part. The cover is for example obtained by molding a thermoplastic material, in particular a polyethylene, a polypropylene, a polyethylene terephthalate, a polyvinyl chloride or a polyamide. Such a closure means can be opened and closed several times so that the device can be reloaded into product and reused repeatedly.
According to a variant of this first embodiment, the second part is a lid formed of one or more layers, in particular of a thermoplastic material chosen especially from polyethylenes, polypropylenes, polyethylenesterephthalates, polyvinylchlorides or polyvinylchlorides. a material metal, especially an aluminum, or a metalloplastic complex such as polyethylene, aluminum, polyethylene. The lid is for example articulated on the first part by a film hinge. Such a cover is compact, easy to apply and inexpensive.
Advantageously, the second part of the device has a flexibility such that it can be deformed with the applicator during the application of the product. Such a configuration facilitates the gesture to the application of the product regardless of the area of the face or body on which the user applies the product.
According to another embodiment, the lid is fixed on the first part for example by gluing, hot or cold or by welding. The bonding can be done using an adhesive composition, or by melting the material. The weld can be thermal, ultrasonic or high frequency. To open such a device, it is easy to separate the two parts welded or glued by tearing, for example by peeling or tearing an end. The two parts can be completely detached or remain partly integral, for example along a hinge-film after tearing. Such a device has a simple opening / closing system and economic to achieve. The opening of the device according to this embodiment is irreversible, that is to say definitive. This produces a device intended for example for a single use.
Advantageously, the weld or glue line continuously surrounds the applicator. The device is thus closed in a perfectly sealed manner so as to correctly retain the product present in the applicator. This also makes it easy to transport it without the risk of the product flowing out of the device.
According to another embodiment, said first and second parts are two sheets formed of one or more layers, in particular of a thermoplastic material chosen especially from polyethylenes, polypropylenes, polyethylenesterephthalates, polyvinylchlorides, or polyvinylenes. a material metal chosen in particular from aluminum, aluminum alloys, brasses, or a metalloplastic complex, the two sheets being superimposed and fixed together along their periphery so as to form a bag. Advantageously, the two sheets are formed of the same material, but it can be provided to use different materials. Again, the device can be opened by tearing, for example by peeling or tearing.
According to a particular embodiment, the invention relates to a kit for packaging and applying a particular cosmetic product comprising a plurality of devices such as those just described. Advantageously, the devices are interconnected at least two by two by one or more breakable portions. Such an embodiment allows a user to have several doses of product with their packaging and application device that can be separated so as to transport only a desired number of doses.
The objects of the invention are also achieved by providing a packaging and application assembly comprising a device such as one of those just described, and a container containing a product for feeding said device a plurality of times . Such an assembly allows the user to have a reserve of product in the container that can store for example in his bathroom, and to have a device for conditioning a low dose of product and for the apply that it can carry on weekends for example. Advantageously, the device is removably attached to the container, which allows the user to store his transportable device, when it is not used, with the supply of product feeding it.
According to another aspect of the invention, the device as just described above is used for the packaging and application of a cosmetic product in the form of a liquid, a gel, a cream or powder.

Les figures 1A à 1C représentent un dispositif de conditionnement et d'application d'un produit cosmétique conforme à un premier exemple de mise en oeuvre de l'invention.FIGS. 1A to 1C show a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product according to a first example of implementation of the invention.
The
Similarly, an
During the manufacture of the device, the housing is first formed, for example by injection. The hinge-
To use the device, the user opens the lid and the foam relaxes. If there is any product at the bottom of the housing, it is pumped by the foam when opening. Substantially all the product contained in the device is then in the applicator. The user can then apply the product by holding the device, preferably by the
It is obvious that the product may not be introduced into the applicator during the manufacture of the device but only later, by the user, before transporting it. The introduction of the product is then done in the same way as when it is done during manufacture.
The product may be a cream, a gel or any other directly applicable liquid, but it may also be provided that the applicator contains a first product and that a second product contained in an independent container is taken before application. For example, it can be provided that the applicator simply contains water and that the user takes a product, for example a deleterious product, such as, for example, a foundation, an eyeshadow, etc. contained in a separate housing.
The
The
To use the device, the user removes the
Les figures 3A à 3D représentent un dispositif de conditionnement et d'application d'un produit cosmétique conforme à un autre exemple de mise en oeuvre de l'invention.FIGS. 3A to 3D show a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product according to another embodiment of the invention.
The
The
Advantageously, the lid has a surface a little larger than the surface of the
On soude ensuite l'opercule sur la feuille 20.In order to form the device, the
In order to use the device, the user removes the lid on which the impregnated applicator of the entire product remains fixed. The user applies the product holding the lid by the
According to a third embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the device is in the form of a bag formed by two substantially
An
In the examples which have just been described, the applicator has a circular section. It is obvious that the applicator may have a section of different shape, for example a square section, rectangular, triangular, oval, teardrop, etc. It can also have an oblong shape. Similarly, the entire device may have a square section, rectangular, triangular, circular, oval, teardrop, etc.
Ce mode de réalisation est fabriqué de la manière indiquée en référence aux figures 3B à 3D.FIG. 5 represents a fourth embodiment of the invention according to which there is a kit formed of a plurality of packaging and application devices. The kit consists of a
According to one variant, the kit consists of several bags such as that described in accordance with FIG.
In the foregoing detailed description, reference has been made to preferred embodiments of the invention. It is obvious that variations may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention as claimed hereinafter.
