Abstract

Apparatus for the positioning of a cladding panel (1) comprises a trestle (2) having a load-bearing surface (15), for supporting a load support beam (16) having load-engagement means (19, 40) projecting beyond the load-bearing surface (15) of the trestle (2). A second trestle (21) provides means (22, 24, 25) for counteracting the turning moment acting on the load support beam (16) when carrying the cladding panel (1). The position of the cladding panel (1) is adjustable by varying the position of the load support beam (16) on the load-bearing surface (15) of trestle (2).
