Abstract

A panel, particularly a floor panel, which exhibits a spring on at least one side and a groove on the opposite side, which features are designed in complementary fashion such that several panels can be connected by inserting one panel into the other, while the spring/groove connection is provided with interlocking portions which prevent the two panels from sliding against the connecting direction, is distinguished by the fact that the spring exhibits a slit that runs parallel to the upper side of the panel and the groove exhibits a wedge-shaped projection at its base.

Description

The invention relates to a panel, in particular a floor panel, that at least on one of its sides a spring and on the opposite side has a groove which is formed are that several panels by nesting each other are connectable, wherein the spring / groove connection with latching means is provided, the opposite of a sliding two panels prevent the connection direction.

Such panels are described for example in WO97 / 47834 and the JP 3-169967. Such panels can be combined connect without being glued to the ground, for example or connected to each other by additional links Need to become. The connecting edges of two floor panels can be paralleled by linear telescoping Underground are inserted into each other, whereby by positive locking the Verrastmittel a displacement of the panels against the direction of connection is excluded. The appropriate training the tongue / groove is called click profile. So the positive connection can occur between the latching means bends when nesting two panels, the spring of the first panel the lower lip the groove of the second panel towards the bottom. Come the latching agents overlapping each other, the lower lip elastically springs back and makes the shapeshifter.

Such panels are usually made of wood materials, especially HDF or MDF produced. The elasticity behavior of the lower lip is therefore not exact adjustable. In particular, in the case of improper nesting of two panels can not be ruled out that the lower lip bent too far will and breaks, which is not necessarily recognized when laying, but to no or a bad lock leads.

From WO 94/01628 fasteners for floor panels are known which be connected to the panels at the bottom and a snap connection enable. At the one connecting element is a groove and on the another connecting element formed a spring. The spring of the connecting element is slotted, so that two mutually elastic lips formed become. Each lip is provided with a wedge-shaped heel. The groove of the other Connecting element has corresponding undercuts. At the Nesting the fasteners are the two lips of the spring compressed and spring apart again when the projections in the Undercut intervene.

Damit die Verbindung nicht gelöst werden kann, muss in der Verbindung eine Spannung aufrecht erhalten werden.DE-A-72 07 395 discloses a connecting element with which two panels, have the dovetailed grooves, are joined together can. According to the dovetail shape of the grooves is the connecting element wedge-shaped and slotted centrally on both sides. By the Slit, the connecting element can be pressed together, so that the to the dovetail of the grooves complementary shape is lifted and the spring piece can be inserted laterally into the groove. There they feather Thighs back and fill the grooves in cross section. Similar fasteners discloses US-A-727,862. In addition, this document discloses also wood panels for the formation of columns, on one side a groove and on the opposite side have a spring. The groove bottom is rounded and has a wedge. The spring is slotted in the middle, with the Slit tapers towards the core. If the panels are inserted into one another, The wedge engages in the slot of the spring and spreads it on, so that the widened spring against the inner surface of the groove applies. So the connection can not be solved, must maintain a voltage in the connection become.

On the support base element ceramic Tiles or the like may be applied. The spring is at its top with a Received and has at its bottom two hollows and at their On top of another trough, the set back relative to the pen tip are arranged. These troughs are supposed to work together with elevations in the groove Rückschubsicherung the otherwise detachable connection form. A lock two interconnected support elements is not provided and also not wanted. Rather, the profiling of spring and groove is designed so that a joining game remains in the joint to the butt joint to be able to adjust.

Starting from this problem, the panel described in the introduction should be so be trained that when joining two panels as low as possible Forces in the groove act and after locking the connection voltage is, so that from the outside invisible destruction of the material in the connection point is prevented.

Zur Problemlösung zeichnet sich ein gattungsgemäßes Paneel dadurch aus, dass die Feder durch einen zur Oberseite des Paneels in Längsrichtung parallel verlaufenden Schlitz in zwei elastisch zueinander bewegbare Federteile geteilt wird, und dass die Nut im Nutgrund einen ersten, keilförmigen Vorsprung aufweist, der bei zusammengesteckten Paneelen in den Schlitz eingreiftTo solve the problem, a generic panel characterized by the fact that the spring is parallel to the top of the panel in the longitudinal direction extending slot divided into two elastically movable spring parts is, and that the groove in the groove bottom a first, wedge-shaped projection has, which engages in mated panels in the slot

By this configuration, the spring is in two parts and elastic. The two Spring parts are inserted into the groove of another panel pressed together. Come the Verrastmittel to cover, feathers the two parts apart and the positive connection is made.

The tip of the projection lies at the height of the slot in the spring and engages when mating two panels in the slot and forces the both spring parts to the outside, so that a secure locking is given. At the same time, the stability in the spring-groove connection is increased, as the two Parts of the spring are supported at their free ends.

The elasticity of the two spring parts increases with the depth of the slot, so that this preferably extends over the full width of the spring.

The latching means are preferably formed by one on the spring provided, projecting in the direction of the underside of the panel projection and a recess provided in the groove. Also, the projection on the groove and the recess formed in the spring.

It is advantageous if the projection and the recess to each other so are arranged that two mated panels at least at the Joint of the tops are under bias. This will be a tight connection created on the visible surface forming the top and the Preventing moisture from entering without further sealing necessary is.

The spring and the groove can both on the longitudinal and on be formed on the transverse sides of the panel, so that in particular when laying a floor on all sides the same connection technique applicable, so that relocation easier becomes.

With the aid of a drawing, an embodiment of the invention will be explained in more detail below. It shows:
FIG. 1 -
the section through a panel;
FIG. 2 -
the section at the junction of two nested panels.

The panel 1, 2 consists of a wood material, for example MDF and has a top 9, on which a decorative layer 10th is applied, and a bottom 11 on. Opposite Pages is each panel 1, 2 with a spring 4 and a groove 3 provided. Over the full length (not visible here) the spring 4 is provided centrally with a slot 5 whose depth over the full width B of the spring 4 is enough. The slot splits the spring 4 in a lower part 4a and an upper part 4b, which are elastically movable relative to each other. The groove 3 is at the bottom of the groove with an outwardly facing, wedge-shaped projection. 8 Mistake. The tip of the wedge is approximately in the middle of the groove and corresponds to the height of the slot 5. The depth of the groove 3 is greater than the width B of the spring.

The lower lip 3 a of the groove 3 is provided with a recess 7. The lower part 4a of the spring 4 has a projection 6 which in its contour corresponds to the recess 7. As Figure 2 shows engages in two nested panels 1, 2 of the Projection 8 of the groove 3 in the slot 5 of the spring 4 and pushes the two spring parts 4a, 4b apart, the projection 6 is forced into the recess 7. Lock it the panels 1, 2 into each other and a move against the Connection direction 12 is effectively excluded.

The arrangement of the projection 6 and the recess 7 to each other is chosen so that the panels 1, 2 at least at the junction 14 of the top 9 are biased, so that a tight connection is made. Not to the tension getting too big, what when laying (nesting) the panels 1, 2 would lead to an increased effort, is the upper lip 3b of the groove 3 slightly beveled at the front side and the panel 1, 2 except on the opposite side, so that between the connected panels 1, 2 a free space 13 is formed.
