Abstract

The satchel (2) has a frame (1) with two arms (5) arranged in a v shape. Two shoulder straps (3) have top sections (4), each of which can slide along an arm of the frame to adjust their length.

Description

The invention relates to a load carrying device as well as a bag, intended to be carried on the back, in particular satchel, provided with a such device.

However, although more particularly intended for such applications, the carrying device according to the invention may be used with other types of loads.

It has long been known to binder bags that school students carry on their backs. In order to be able to follow the evolution morphology of the user or so as to be able to adapt to users of different sizes, the length of the straps is frequently adjustable. However, this solution remains relatively basic and does not allow not to adapt to the various statures encountered.

In the field of backpack suspenders, it is also known, more particularly for hiking, bags provided with a reinforcement locally attached to their dorsal side, the position of the end upper of each of the straps relative to the frame being rendered vertically adjustable. We can thus choose their height according to the size of the user.

These devices are possibly more robust than strap systems from previous school bags. However, for the same size, they do not allow to adapt to different shoulders.

For this, other devices have also been developed. They provide independent adjustment of the height of the shoulder straps and their spacing. However, their structures based on several joints are complex and inconvenient to use, making bags unattractive who are equipped with it.

It should also be noted that the solutions proposed for adapt to the user in hiking bags are intended for a adult population, that is to say of determined morphology. Their amplitude of setting is therefore quite low.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device for carrying a load and / or a backpack or satchel, thus equipped, which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks and makes it possible to adapt to different developments morphology of the wearer, while remaining simple, light and robust.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a carrying device allowing a large amplitude of adjustment.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a carrying device whose adjustment is simple to carry out.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a carrying device whose comfort of use is improved.

Other objects and advantages of the invention will become apparent during of the description which follows which is given for information only and which has not to limit it.

The invention relates, first of all, to a carrying device a load, in particular a satchel, comprising at least one frame, intended to be attached locally to said load, and two straps, suitable for allow the load to be supported on the shoulders of a carrier, the position at least one of the ends of each of the straps, called the end movable relative to said frame being provided adjustable, characterized by the the fact that said movable ends of the straps are provided capable of slide on said frame, in two concurrent directions, allowing so as to correlate the adjustment of the height and the spacing of the straps.

The invention also relates to a bag intended to be worn on the back, in particular satchel, provided with a carrying device as described above.

The invention relates first of all to a carrying device of a load, in particular of a schoolbag.

As illustrated in Figures 1a and 1b, the carrying device according to the invention, comprises at least one frame 1, intended to be locally attached to said load 2, and two straps 3, able to allow the load bearing on the shoulders of a carrier.

The position of at least one of the ends of each of the straps 3, said movable end, relative to said frame 1 is provided adjustable. It is, for example, their upper end 4.

According to the invention, said movable ends 4 are provided able to slide on said frame 1, in two concurrent directions, thus allowing the correlation of the adjustment of the height and spacing of the shoulder straps 3.

By way of example, as illustrated in FIG. 1a, when the shoulder straps are in the upper position, their height and spacing are maximums. This setting is intended, in particular, for a teenager.

However, as illustrated in Figure 1b, when the shoulder straps are in the lower position, their height and spacing are minimum. he this is therefore a setting, in particular for an older child whose size and the build is naturally less. These two positions are also illustrated in FIGS. 2a and 2c, an intermediate adjustment being shown in the Figure 2b.

By noting the fact that, in a given population, the size and the middle part are generally a function of one another, the invention makes it possible to adapt to the different morphological characteristics of the wearer using easy, quick adjustment.

Said frame 1 consists, in particular, of two straps 5 oriented concurrently, each movable end 4 of the straps sliding on one of the straps 5.

Said armature 1 is advantageously of non-structural rigid which makes it possible to lighten the weight of the entire carrying device. The rigidity of the carrying device is obtained by securing punctually said straps 5 to a rigid part of said receptacle storage 2, which has the effect of stretching them.

The tension exerted at said straps 5 is determined so that the straps 5 can also deform locally allowing the sliding of said straps 3.

As shown more particularly in Figure 3, said two straps 5 are oriented, for example, in V. The tip of the V is oriented downwards and the axis of symmetry of these two branches is directed, in particular, substantially vertically.

For example, the angle between the two straps 5 will be 10 to 30 °, while recalling that it will be fixed according to the average size / size of the target population.

As illustrated in Figure 4, each strap is equipped, optionally, means 6 for locking in position its movable end 4 relative to the strap 5 on which it slides.

Said means 6 for locking in position are constituted, by example, of at least two parts 7, 8 forming a jaw, located between two holes 9, 10, provided on the strap 3. One 7 of said parts is subject to said strap 3 while said strap 5 passes through said holes 9, 10 and said jaw 7, 8.

During adjustment, the two parts 7, 8 are separated one of the other, for example using a cam lever 11 articulated on a suitable stirrup, to allow the strap 3 to slide on the strap 5. Once arrived at the desired position, said parts 7, 8 are pressed, by the effect of said lever 11, one against the other, which immobilizes the strap 3 relative to the strap 5.

In order to facilitate adjustment, the straps 5 may have on their face intended to be oriented towards the bearer of the marks, for example in the form of a scale indicating the level at which the shoulder straps 3 are fixed.

Additionally, parts 7 of the jaws intended for be oriented towards the carrier, i.e. those on which the cam levers 11, may be provided with a light 27, leaving appear said marks, especially when said levers 11 are raised for adjusting the shoulder straps. We thus perform an indexing of the positioning of these.

Each strap 3 may have an extra thickness of material 12 provided with a window 13 receiving said means 6 for blocking position so that they are flush with the surface of said window 13. Such an arrangement makes it possible to conceal at least in part said blocking means 6; and increase the comfort of the wearer.

Referring again to Figures 1a and 1b, we see that said straps may, in addition, be provided adjustable in length. For this, said straps 3 consist, for example, each of at least at least two elements 14, 15 located in the longitudinal extension one of the other, the longitudinal ends 16, 16 '; 17, 17 'located opposite said sliding elements relative to each other.

The upper element 14 is made, in particular, of foam, and receives said window 13 previously mentioned. It may also be provided, at the level of the shoulder straps 3 intended to be opposite of the wearer's neck, of a comfort band 18.

The lower element 15 consists, in particular, of a strap textile.

Means 19 for limiting the spacing of the straps 3 could still be planned. These are, in particular, means of recall elastic located between each movable end 4 of said straps 3.

Said elastic return means are formed, for example, an elastic fabric 20, possibly reinforced with straps 26, flexible but not elastic.

These are, in particular, two in number. They are arranged parallel to each other and are subject to each of their ends at one of the movable ends 4 of the straps 3.

As illustrated in FIGS. 2a and 2b, said straps 26 are gradually tend as the spacing of said movable ends 4 to finally limit it to a maximum value when they are fully extended, as shown in Figure 2c. They allow in this way to avoid a tearing of the elastic fabric 20, between other.

The device according to the invention can also include additional means 21 for taking support of the load, extending transversely to said frame 1 and subject to the latter, directly or not.

It is, for example, a lumbar reinforcement strip 22, substantially orthogonal to the axis of symmetry of said straps 5. Said band 22 is subject to said straps 5, in particular, in their lower part. It is for example made of foam.

According to a particular embodiment, said means 21 additional load support have at least two wings 23 each extending laterally from said frame 1. Each ramp 3 is then secured, in particular at a portion of their length extending from their lower end, to one of said wings 23 over at least part of the length of said wings 23, so as to press these against the body of the wearer, thereby favoring the support of the charge.

It should be noted that such an embodiment could be applied to other carrying devices, in particular to carrying devices carrying without straps fitted with movable ends 4.

Said wings are also, for example, made of foam. They extend from said strip 22.

However, the invention also relates to a bag intended for be carried on the back, in particular satchel, provided with a carrying device such as described above.

For this, as illustrated in FIG. 3, said straps 5 are punctually subject to said dorsal face 24 at least to each of their ends as well as at an intermediate point 25, thus defining the travel of said movable ends 4.

Claims (14)

Device for carrying a load, in particular a satchel, comprising at least one frame (1) intended to be fixed locally to said load (2), and two straps (3), capable of allowing the grip load bearing on the shoulders of a wearer, the position of at least one of the ends of each of the straps, called the movable end (4), relative to said frame (1) being provided adjustable, characterized in that said movable ends (4) are provided capable of sliding on said frame (1), in two concurrent directions, thus allowing to perform, correlated way, the adjustment of the height and the spacing of the straps. The device of claim 1, wherein said frame (1) consists of two straps (5) oriented so concurrent, each movable end (4) of the straps (3) sliding on one straps (5). The device of claim 2, wherein said two straps (5) are oriented in a V. The device of claim 2, wherein each strap (3) is provided with means (6) for locking in position of its end movable (4) relative to the strap (5) on which it slides.
