Description

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for Unload an open-top shipment container according to the generic terms of independent claims.

Briefe, in entsprechenden Behältern transportiert. In the shipment distribution processes, narrow shipments, e.g. Letters, transported in appropriate containers. To the shipments in sorting systems according to the recipient addresses sort, the containers must be unloaded and a substance input be fed. This was unloading and feeding previously carried out essentially manually. It was too in DE 194 45 716 C1 a solution for automatic charging described the input of substances from sorting machines but the filled container with momentum on the substance input dumped. A gentle transfer of the batch of items in the aligned condition without risk of damage to the individual Shipments are not possible with this. Is it necessary To maintain the alignment of the edges, the stack must then be turned back again. Through these processes is the edge alignment necessary for further processing not guaranteed.

The object of the invention is therefore a method semi-automatic or fully automatic emptying from above open consignment containers with obliquely outwards Side walls so that the consignments are gently under Maintaining orientation and alignment can be unloaded. For this purpose, a device in this regard is to be created.

This object is achieved according to the method steps solved according to claim 1. The corresponding device is in independent claim 4.

The shipments are made using the specified steps and means so taken that the aligned location of the shipments remains in the stack and none that moves the shipments and wrinkling forces occur. This will be the stack compressed and clamped between support brackets with circumferential Conveyor belts transported during unloading. When entering the support brackets, the conveyor belts are moved so that in addition to the normal force, none of the items touched other forces are exerted.

The swiveling and traversing movements are carried out by means of usual and known and therefore not closer here Handling systems shown with NC-controlled axes.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the subclaims shown.

In Figure 1a, the mail container 1 is inclined to the outside running side walls shown transparently. Loaded he is with a loose stack of 2 standing programs. First, according to FIG. 1b, the stack of mail is compressed, by using the handle recesses on the side Stamps, which are not shown, against the Shipments is pressed (indicated by the arrows 3). there If necessary, the pressures can also be measured to achieve a to maintain the specified compression pressure. The shipment container is here in a holding and not shown Positioning device fixed.

Then support posts 4 are attached to the stack of items 2 from above and in the free space between the stack and the container side wall hazards. During this downward movement of the holding supports 4 the rotating conveyor belts are driven so that the touching band sections to the shipments always motionless are. As a result, the shipments become damaging stresses avoided by the support brackets 4. Support brackets 4 and stamp are coordinated so that they are in the Keeping the stack of items 1 does not interfere with each other.

Is the batch of mail 2 also between the support posts 4 pinched, the stamps are removed (FIG 1c).

In the following Figures 2a-e the further process, in Section B-B seen, explained.

How to recognize shipment container 1 was on a roller conveyor executed transport path 5 transported. The support brackets 4 each have three conveyor belts. The holding and positioning device for the shipment container 1 is the overview because not shown. But it is a pivot point 7 in a longitudinal axis about which the holding and positioning device with the shipment container 1 and the shipments is pivotable. There is also a movable stop wall 6 to recognize whose function will be explained. To FIG. 2b was the shipment container 1 with the shipment stack 2 and the support brackets 4 pivoted about 95 °. This ensures that in the event of shipments breaking out of the stack push them against the container wall below. Due to the pivoting a little more than 90 ° arises a small force component that prevents it from swinging away of the container the batch of mail moves back with and a large component of force aimed at the second Edge works. Then only the shipment container 1 pivoted back so far that a gap between the batch of mail 2 and shipment container 1 is created and a base plate 8 in this gap on the free long side of the stack of items 2 can drive.

In addition, the stop wall 6 for safety to the other Longitudinal side of the stack of mail 2 driven to break out a particularly unstable batch of mail 2, e.g. at especially big differences of the consignments regarding size and Avoid thickness to this side (FIG 2c).

Now, according to FIG 4 and consignment container 1 with holding and positioning device while maintaining the spatial position to each other pivoted back so that the batch of mail 2 with the underlying base plate 8 aligned horizontally is. The shipment container 1 is indicated by the arrow released from the holding and positioning device and falls below on the transport track 5, which transports it to the right (FIG 2e). The bottom plate 8 with the one on it jammed batch of mail 2 has such a distance of the transport path 5 that the shipment container 1 during transport on it from the base plate 8 and the stack of items 2 not be hindered. The shipment stack 2 can now be the be further processed. This can be sorting be in a sorting plant. This is the batch of mail 2 transported with the base plate 8 on the material input. After the bottom plate 8 under the shipment stack has been removed and the batch of mail 2 directly on the substance input stands, movable cutting knife of this substance input the stack has been moved, the support brackets 4 can go up be moved away so that the batch of mail 2 from the Cutting knives is taken over and sent to the separation point can be transported.

If a shipment container 1 is not completely filled, be the shipments by a clamp that is on the shipment container attached, prevented from tipping over. The holding clamp is shaped so that the stamp passes through it Can compress batches of mail.
