Bei den TL-Trocknern ist im Wesentlichen der Volumenstrom (Volumen pro Zeiteinheit), die Temperatur sowie die Befeuchtung der Warmluft beeinflussbar. Da bei einer Bogenwendung der Bogen mit der frisch bedruckten Seite auf der Oberfläche des Gegendruckzylinders des nächsten Druckwerkes zum Liegen kommt, werden Trocknereinrichtungen zunehmend auch den Wendeeinrichtungen zugeordnet. Die Art der Trocknereinrichtung richtet sich, wie bereits oben erwähnt wurde, nach der Art der zu verdruckenden Farbe und/oder des Bedruckstoffes. Mit ein oder mehreren Lackier- oder sonstigen drucktechnischen Veredelungseinrichtungen erweiterte Druckmaschinen weisen entweder zwischen den einzelnen Druck- bzw. Lackiereinrichtungen und/oder zwischen der letzten Druck- bzw. Lackiereinrichtung und dem Ausleger ein oder mehrere, oft nach unterschiedlichem Wirkprinzip aufgebaute Trocknereinrichtungen auf. Dieses sind meist in einem verlängerten Förderweg zwischen dem letzten Druck- und Lackierwerk und der Auslage der Bogendruckmaschine angeordnet. Die Anordnung von mehreren und insbesondere nach unterschiedlichen physikalischen Wirkprinzip arbeitenden Trocknereinrichtungen ermöglicht hier eine individuelle Anpassung des Trocknungsvorganges an den jeweiligen Druckprozess. In den Druck- und Lackierwerken können so wahlweise durch UV-Strahlung bzw. IR-Strahlung härtbare bzw. trockenbare Farben verdruckt werden. Eine zu hoch gewählte Einstellung der Trocknerleistung bedingt nicht nur einen hohen Energieverbrauch der Druckmaschine und ebenfalls eine hohe Abwärmeleistung, welche die Temperatur des Drucksaales erhöht bzw. durch die Klimatisiereinrichtung des Drucksaales auf den vorgesehenen Wert zu regeln wäre, sondern auch der Druckprozess an sich wird negativ beeinflusst. Bekanntlich ändert sich die Zügigkeit und Viskosität von Farbe / Lacke, sodass eine hohe Maschinenerwärmung nebst der Erwärmung von Farbe und Dosiereinrichtung unter Umständen wieder Makulatur verursachende Nachregelungen erforderlich machen. Claims (17)
- Printing press (1), particularly an offset sheet printing press, with a control fitted to this, with a dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) in which the mode of operation of the dryer unit can be changed and with signal emitters (8-10) arranged in the press (1) which are in signal connection with the control fitted to the press (1), characterised in that a control (7) is provided for the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6), that at least one signal of a parameter characterising the print process is fed to the control (7) and that, as a result of which signals are generated by the control (7) by which the mode of operation of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) is changed in preset fashion.
- Printing press (1) according to Claim 1, characterised in that the control (7) is in signal connection directly with signal emitters (8, 9, 10) arranged in the press (1).
- Printing press (1) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that control (7) is in signal connection with a control desk (2) of the press (1) by means of which adjustment values for the press (1) are fed to the control (7).
- Printing press (1) according to Claim 1, 2 or 3 characterised in that data are fed to the control (7) by means of the signal connection via the control desk (2) which are determined in a pre-print stage and which relate to a print order to be carried out.
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that, in the press (1), individual printing and varnishing units are provided and that fed to the control (7) are adjustment values of an ink metering in the individual print and varnishing units of the press (1).
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that data are fed to the control (7) concerning the inks and/or varnishes to be used in a print order to be carried out for switching of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6).
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that data are fed to the control (7) relating to the switching of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) in the case of the material to be printed used in a print order to be carried out.
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that, by means of the control (7), signals are generated for influencing the dryer power of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6).
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) is constructed as an HA or hot air dryer, wherein, in each dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6), means are provided for guiding an air stream and that, by means of control (7), signals are generated for influencing an air stream connected with the drying process.
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that, by the control (7), a signal processed by the control of the press (1) and reproducing the print speed of the press (1) is processed for speed dependent matching to the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6).
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) is provided with a device for sucking away hot air and that, by means of the control (7), the suction power of the hot air exhaust is adjusted in dependence on the actual mode of operation of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6).
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 11, characterised in that, by means of the control (7), in combination with the pre-installation data characterising the print process to be carried out, adjustment values for a dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) are determined and brought into adjustment.
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterised in that, by the control (7), adjustment values for the printing press (1) are determined from the signals fed and the maximum achievable effect (maximum power) of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6).
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterised in that adjustment values of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) of a print order which has been carried out are stored in the control (7) and can be brought into use again at a later point in time.
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 14, characterised in that cooling units for sheet pile or press units are provided and that, by means of the control (7), one or more cooling units are controlled in dependence on the current mode of operation of the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6).
- Printing press (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 15, characterised in that, by the control (7), the dryer unit (3; 4; 5; 6) is controlled in dependence on measured values taken from the printed material.
- Printing press (1) according to Claim 16, characterised in that parameters reflecting the quality of the print, such as, in particular, varnish or ink layer thickness and/or gloss are determined.
