Claims (4)

  1. Switch having a switch housing (1) which can be closed by means of a cover (2), is provided in its interior with contact elements (3) and has a cable insertion opening (5) through which a conductive, at least two-core cable (4, 4a) is passed which is provided with an insulating sheath and is conductively connected in the housing interior to likewise conductive contact elements (3), the contact elements (3) being equipped with contact blades (6) which extend in the direction of the cover (2) and make contact with the conductive cores (8) whilst passing through the insulating sheath (5) of the cable (4, 4a), a press-on part (9), which can be pushed onto the cable (4, 4a) and protrudes so far into the housing interior that, when the cover (2) is closed, the cable (4, 4a) is pressed fixedly against the contact elements (3) equipped with the contact blades (6), being provided in the contact-making region on the inside of the cover, characterized in that a circumferential seal (15) is provided between the switch housing (1) and the cover (2), and the cover (2) is hinge-connected to the switch housing (1), and a sealing stopper (11), which is provided with a channel (12) for the purpose of passing through the cable (4, 4a) and, whilst bearing against the closed cover (2), is pressed together by said cover (2) such that the channel (12) is sealed off with respect to the cable (4, 4a), is arranged in the cable insertion opening (5).
  2.
