Abstract

The apparatus includes an adaptor which includes a control unit and is releasably fixed in the launcher tube of a launching drum. A stack of active devices is releasably connected to the adaptor, both mechanically and electrically. In the assembled state, when the stack is connected to the adaptor, active devices can be launched individually in sequence or together, under the control of the control unit. The time spacing between shots is adjustable. An Independent claim is included for a projectile system with at least one launching drum.
