Abstract

A second flask (5) has a neck (18) and a cap (26) that fit inside the duct and incorporates an intermediate element (20) which interacts with the second cap (26) to allow the mixing of two basic ingredients (B1, B2). Container (1) comprises a first flask (6) for a first product (A), having an applicator nozzle (36) and an open base (12) for a connector (10) and a central duct (14) with a cap (16). A second flask (5) has a neck (18) and a cap (26) that fit inside the duct and incorporates an intermediate element (20) which interacts with the second cap (26) to allow the mixing of two basic ingredients (B1, B2) held separately inside the second flask prior to mixing with the first product (A). The intermediate element comprising a skirt (22) that is inserted into the duct (14) and has a free edge (25) interacting with a stopper (32) on the second flask's cap (26) isolating the two ingredients (B1,B2) from one another.

  1. Packaging (1) for the extemporaneous mixing of two products (A, B), comprising:
    a first bottle (6) intended to contain a first product (A), this bottle being open at its base (12) in the form of a skirt (7) and being fitted with a dispensing nozzle (36);
    connecting means (10) fixed to the base (12) of the first bottle (6), comprising a central hollow shaft (14) equipped with a first detachable stopper (16) allowing the first bottle to be closed;
    a second bottle (5) intended to contain a second product (B), provided with a neck (18) which can be engaged in the said central hollow shaft (14), the second bottle (5) being equipped with a removable closure means (26) and bearing entrainment means (48) which, after the closure means (26) has been removed, interact with complementary means (46) provided in the central hollow shaft (14), to allow the said first stopper (16) to be expelled and allow the two products (A+B) to be mixed;
    characterized in that the second bottle (5) includes an intermediate member (20) which can participate with the said closure means (26) in order, on removing the said closure means (26), to carry out the mixing of at least two base compositions (B1, B2) separately contained in the said second bottle (5) so as to form the said second product (B).
  2. Packaging according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said intermediate member (20) comprises a first skirt (22) which is inserted into the neck (18) of the second bottle (5) and a free edge (25) of which, placed inside the second bottle, is intended to come into engagement with a second stopper (32) carried by the said closure means (26) and isolating one (B1) of the said base compositions from the other (B2).
  3. Packaging according to Claim 2, characterized in that the said skirt (22) presents an emerging portion (24) of the second bottle (5), and including a screw thread (23) which can interact with a corresponding screw thread (29) carried by the said closure means (26).
  4. Packaging according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the said closure means (26) carries a tubular portion (28) which extends inside the first skirt (22) and a free end (30) of which emerges from the free end (25) of the said first skirt (22) and is closed off by the said second stopper (32), thus defining a compartment (34) which contains one (B2) of the said base compositions (B1, B2).
  5. Packaging according to any one of Claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the second stopper (32) presents a projecting peripheral edge (33) which can butt against the free edge (25) of the first skirt (22) so that, when the closure means (26) has been removed from the second bottle (5), the said second stopper (32) is expelled, allowing the base compositions (B1, B2) to be mixed.
  6. Packaging according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the said entrainment means (48) are carried by the said intermediate member (20).
  7. Packaging according to any one of Claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the said entrainment means (48) are carried by a second skirt (40) which is placed on the outside of the neck (18) and an inner surface of which includes a screw thread (41) capable of interacting with a corresponding screw thread (42) formed on the neck (18).
  8. Packaging according to Claim 7, characterized in that the entrainment means comprise at least one stub (48) projecting radially outwards, complementary means, especially at least one helical ramp (46), being provided on the internal surface (44) of the central hollow shaft (14) in order to interact with the stub (48).
  9. Packaging according to Claim 8, characterized in that the entrainment means comprise two diametrically opposed stubs (48), the said complementary means comprising two diametrically opposed helical ramps (46).
  10. Packaging according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that it comprises means (18a, 40b) which, after the intermediate member (20) has been screwed on to the neck (18) of the second bottle (5), prevent the said intermediate member (20) from rotating with respect to the second bottle (5).
  11. Packaging according to any one of Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the first stopper (16) is snap-fastened on to the top (14a) of the central hollow shaft (14).
  12. Packaging according to any one of Claims 2 to 11, characterized in that a sealing lip (19) is placed on an internal surface of the top (14a) of the central hollow shaft (14) so as to provide a good seal between the said internal surface and the skirt (22) when the latter is in the position for expelling the stopper (16).
  13. Packaging according to one of Claims 8 to 12, characterized in that the interaction between the entrainment means (48) and the complementary means (46) causes the intermediate member (20) to move axially inside the central hollow shaft (14) in response to the second bottle (5) being rotated with respect to the first (6), the pitch of the helical ramp (or ramps) (46) being such that the axial movement of the intermediate member (20) relative to the central hollow shaft, necessary for expelling the stopper (16), is obtained by rotating the second bottle (5) through at least one turn with respect to the first (6).
  14. Packaging according to any one of Claims 7 to 13, characterized in that the internal diameter (h) of the bottom (44) of the central hollow shaft (14) is large enough to allow entry of at least part of the said cylindrical skirt (40) and of at least part of the plug (26).
  15. Packaging according to any one of Claims 11 to 14, characterized in that the connecting means consist of a member (10) forming a U-shaped annular groove, comprising the inner wall (14a, 44) of the central hollow shaft (14), an outer wall (10b), and a bottom (10a) connecting the inner wall to the outer wall, the inner wall being extended by a smaller-diameter extension (15) forming the top of the central hollow shaft (14), the internal surface of the outer wall (10b) including a screw thread (10c) capable of interacting with a corresponding screw thread (9) provided on the base (12) of the first bottle (6).
  16. Packaging according to any one of Claims 1 to 15, characterized in that the said dispensing nozzle (36) is closed by a breakable tip (38).
  17. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first bottle (6) is compressible.
  18. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second bottle (5) is made of a rigid thermoplastic and/or of glass.
  19. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting member (10) is made of a thermoplastic chosen from polyethylenes (PE), polypropylenes (PP), polyethylene terephthalates (PET), polyvinyl chlorides (PVC), or of a complex of the polyethylene/ethylene-polyvinyl alcohol (PE/EVOH) or PE/PET type.
  20. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it contains a hair dye, the first bottle (6) containing an oxidizing agent (A) and the second bottle (5) containing a colorant (B1) and an oil (B2), respectively.
