Abstract

The valve consists of a body (100) forming a seat (120) for a shutter (140) connected by a rod (160) to a support (170) with a threaded hole (170A) for a regulating bush (200). The rod is surrounded at least partially by a return spring (230) which is released by a fuse (240) when the temperature of the air passing through the valve exceeds a set level. In its compressed state the return spring (230) is located at least partially inside the regulating bush and is held in place by a rim (202) on the end of the bush. The other end of the spring presses against a collar on the rear end of the rod and forces the valve shutter into its closed position when the fuse releases it.
