La bobine supraconductrice présente une caractéristique Q supérieure à 250, à une fréquence inférieure à 1000 Hz, la valeur de Q étant définie comme le rapport entre l'énergie d'induction stockée dans la bobine et la dissipation de la bobine par cycle.
