Die Schwierigkeit bei der Verwendung von Kautschukband besteht indessen darin, daß sich ein Kautschukbank wegen seiner elastischen Eigenschaften durch Profilwalzen nicht bleibend in Falten legen bzw. plissieren läßt, sondern stets versucht, wieder seine glatte, ebene Form zurückzugewinnen. Um einem Kautschukband eine bleibende Plissierung aufzuzwingen, werden zunächst die Randbereiche und der Mittenbereich des ebenen, glatten Kautschukbandes mit einem dünnen Metallstreifen, beispielsweise Aluminiumfolie, beschichtet, der sich mit geringen Kraftaufwand bleibend verformen läßt. Anschließend werden nur die Metallstreifen mit den daran anhaftenden Bereichen des Kautschukbandes mittels Profilwalzen plissiert. Die Metallstreifen sind von einer solchen Stärke gewählt, daß die elastischen Rückstellkräfte der plissierten Kautschukbandbereiche nicht ausreichen, um die plissierten Metallstreifen zu entformen, d.h., wieder glatt zu ziehen. Im Ergebnis bildet sich in jedem Perforationsloch 1a ein Pfropf 6b aus Butyl-Material, dessen Oberseite mit der Unterseite der Metallfolie 2a zuverlässig verklebt. Claims (9)

  1.   2. Sealing mat in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that butyl or bitumen is used as material for the adhesive tapes (6).
  3. Sealing mat in accordance with claims 1 or 2, characterised in that an ethylene-propylene-tar-caoutchouc (APTK) is used as caoutchouc material.
  4. Sealing mat in accordance with one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the metal strips (2a, 3a) are comprised by aluminium sheets being adhered to the roller tape material (1).
  5. Sealing mat in accordance with one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the diameter of the perforating holes (1a) is between 1 mm and 5 mm.
  6. Sealing mat in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the mutual spacing of the perforating holes (1a) ranges between 1 cm and 2.5 cm.
  7. Sealing mat in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 6 characterised in that the spacing between the perforating holes (1a) and the outside edge of the roller tape (1) has been chosen so as to permit the perforating holes (1a) to be positioned in the centre below the longitudinal axis of the overlying metal strip (2a).
  8. Method of manufacturing a sealing mat in accordance with claim 1, in which
    metal strips are adhered to the upper side of a roller tape along the center portion as well as along to the two edge zones thereof, said roller tape being made from of a smooth calendered caoutchouc tape or of smooth fabric tape impregnated or coating with caoutchouc, and in which
    adhesive strips are rolled on to the lower side of the caoutchouc film tape or fabric tape along to both edge zones, said adhesive strips being covered with a removable protective film on the outside,
    characterised in that during the roll-on process of the adhesive strips material parts of the adhesive strips are pressed through the perforation of the roller tape and adhered to the lower side of the overlying metal strips.
  9. Method in accordance with claim 8, characterised in that the metal strips are adhered to the roller tape by means of thermal lamination.
