Abstract

A stable pushing magazine for a manual frame stapler having a punch bearing a guide member in the form of a stud magnetized to hold a staple positioned against it. The magazine is in the form of an elongated, closed drawer. One face of the magazine is pierced by a longitudinal opening and another end of the magazine opens in a window at the end of the drawer. The drawer contains a sliding pusher operated by a button for the purpose of displacing the contiguous staples and of placing one staple on the punch via the window at the end of the drawer.

Description

The invention relates to framing and relates to specifically to a store suitable for pushing staples and position them one by one on a stapler manual.

There are easy-to-use staplers that allow a user to set up manually staples profiled in rods framing. In a known device, the hammer allowing the staple to penetrate into the wood has on its surface of a stud-shaped guide member, usually cylindrical, which is magnetic and can thus hold a staple positioned against it until the tool is presented in a good place on the front strip nailing the staple. Advantageously profiled in V must therefore be placed on the stapler, in the common sense, i.e. outward-facing sharpening, and obviously none of the staple loaders as described for example in FR-A-2747604, the EP-A-0521724 or US-A-4378065, and which are intended for a distribution to an automatic stapling machine, do not may be suitable to power this hand tool.

The invention solves this problem by proposing a magazine pushes staples for manual frame stapler having a hammer carrying a guide member in magnetic stud shape to hold a positioned staple against him, said store being in the form of an elongated drawer and closed with one side pierced with an opening longitudinal and one end of which is opened by a window at the end of the drawer, said drawer containing a sliding push button operated by a button for moving the staples side by side and presenting a staple on the hammer through the window at the end of the drawer. A elastic retaining device of the sliding pusher in the drawer consists of at least one tab attached to the height of at least one notched rail extending parallel to the face from the store for the step-by-step advance of the staples.

According to constructive features of the invention, the window is rectangular and framed by vertical edges forming a guide for the side wings of a staple, while the pusher carries a profiled head having two section edges triangular with a profile corresponding to that of a staple and of its side wings. The button is mounted on spacers sliding in a longitudinal opening of the magazine, spacers which cling to ribs on either side of the central body of the pusher.

According to another particular characteristic of the invention, the tabs of the elastic pusher retainer sliding are attached to each side of the pusher head, and notched rails which extend on the lateral sides of the magazine, the tongues being fitted with spikes which cooperate with hollow located between teeth provided on the notched rails.

Conversely, the points are delimited towards the front by a inclined side and backwards by a side perpendicular to the central body of the pusher.

  • Other particular characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description which follows of an exemplary embodiment in which reference is made to the appended drawings which represent:
  • Figure 1, a cutaway perspective view of the store pushes staple.
  • Figure 2, a perspective view of the drawer forming the store.
  • Figure 3, a partial sectional view on a larger scale of a notched rail.
  • Figures 4 and 5, respectively perspective and top views of the pusher.
  • Figure 6, a sectional view on a larger scale of a tab of the pusher.
  • Figure 7 is a perspective view of a manual stapler.
  • Figures 8 and 9, perspective views of the magazine and the manual stapler, respectively in the position of presentation of the clip and withdrawal of the magazine.
We have shown in Figure 1 a store grows clip designated as a whole by the reference 1, in which moves a sliding pusher designated in its together by reference 2.

Referring also to FIG. 2, it can be seen that tray 1 looks like an elongated, closed drawer one face 12 of which has a longitudinal opening 10 and one end of which (in front of FIG. 2) is open by a rectangular window 11, at the end of the drawer. Between the opening 10 and the window 11, the face 12 carries a V-shaped cutout 13 whose profile corresponds to the profile of a clip 3. This cut is located on the staple outlet side outside the store, above window 11. The window is framed by two vertical edges 14 which form a guide for the side wings 4 of the clip 3 as it appears more clearly in Figure 1. The thickness of this guide, ie the distance between the vertical edge 14 of the part of the blank 13 which is in front of it, roughly corresponds to the thickness of a staple. So it is not possible that two staples joined together can exit the store simultaneously.

The two lateral sides 15 of the magazine are provided internally of notched rails 16 extending parallel to face 12 over the entire length of the shop. According to an alternative embodiment not shown, the notched rails are provided a little more higher than those visible in Figures 1 and 2, more precisely on the longitudinal edges of opening 10, at face 12.

FIG. 3 shows the shape of the notching of the rails, consisting of a succession of teeth 17 delimited by a side by a front face 18, towards window 11, which is perpendicular to the plane of the sides 15 of the store, and on the other side by a rear face 19 inclined by angle of about 45 ° backwards.

The pusher 2 also shown in Figures 4 and 5 is consisting of a central body 20 bearing at the rear, that is to say on the side opposite window 11, two fins guide 21 bearing on the sides 15 of the magazine. On the front side the central body carries a profiled head 22 with two vertical edges 23 of triangular section having a profile corresponding to that of a clip 3 and its lateral wings 4. On each side of the head 22 is reported, at the notched rail 15 of the store, a tongue 24 fitted with two tips 25 more clearly visible in Figure 6. Unlike the teeth 17 of the rail notched, the points 25 are delimited towards the front by an inclined face 26 and towards the rear by a face 27 perpendicular to the central body 20 of the pusher. The tabs 24 cooperate with the recesses located between the teeth 17 of the notched rails and thus constitute a elastic retainer of the sliding plunger in the drawer for the step-by-step advance of the staples. We have expected that the distance between the ends of two teeth successive is greater than the thickness of a staple.

Finally we note that we reported on both sides and on the other side of the central body, a rib 28 serving to the attachment of the operating button 29 visible at the Figure 1. This button 29, with ribbed surface is mounted on two spacers 30 thanks to which it comes to hang to the ribs 28 of the pusher, the spacers having some elasticity and being hollowed out with a groove for their snap-fastening on said ribs. The button allows the pusher to slide easily inside the store, its wings 30 moving in the opening 10 of the drawer whose edges serve it guide.

The store thus described can be used for placing in place of staples on a manual stapler 5 shown at Figure 7. It is indeed necessary to place a staple 3 against a magnetic stud 6 which projects from a flat surface 7, so that the clip is held on the tool as shown, bevel up.

Staples attached, but not tied to each other others, are arranged in the store, their part sharpened at the bottom, on the side opposite the button 29. We see in Figure 8 that we show the store 1 against stapler so that the first staple appearing at the window 11 is applied against the pad 6, perpendicular to the surface 7. The user moves then the store up, in the direction of the arrow, as shown in figure 9, and the clip remains in position on the tool.

With button 29, the package is advanced staples toward the store opening, advance staples step by step using the tabs elastics 24 which escape the teeth 17 of the notched rail corresponding 16 and wedge successively against the next tooth. There is little play between a staple and the two teeth 17 which surround it, since these are spaced apart by a distance greater than the thickness of the clip, this favors their exit from the store at each advance of the pusher. Possibly a lubricant can be applied on rails and in the store to facilitate the movement of staples.
