A lifting machine with a placing jib according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the jib foot (31) comprises two parallel beams (31a, 31b) mounted laterally on either side on the one hand of the mast (21, 22) and on the other hand of the jib head member (41), so as to allow either the jib head member tip (43) or the counter jib head member (42) to be housed within the slot (34) formed between the two beams (31a, 31b).

  9. A lifting machine with a placing jib according to claim 1, characterised in that the relative movement of the jib head member with respect to the jib foot is controlled by at least one distribution cable (51) fixed to the end (46) of the jib tip and going to the top of the mast.
  10. A lifting machine with a placing jib according to claim 9, characterised in that a traction cable (55) is fixed in the vicinity of the end (44) of the counter jib head member (42) and passes around a pulley (35) mounted under the two beams (31a, 31b) of the jib foot, and in that the alignment and locking of the jib head member (41) with the jib foot (31) is performed by traction on said cable.
