- Process for transferring motif representations to any desired base by means of an apparatus according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterised in that the colour image is firstly applied in mirror-image fashion to a carrier film, e.g. a coated paper film or standard paper, on any desired, enlarged or reduced scale, in a colour copier or laser printer, wherein a colour toner is used which has a high affinity with the coated paper surface and can be removed from the paper surface again through pressure and heat, whereupon the aluminium plate with the brushed surface, which is optionally treated with a coating, is firstly placed on the printing table, whereupon the intermediate carrier, which is provided with the mirror-image print, is placed on this plate, whereupon a woollen fabric or molleton and optionally a further film is placed on this intermediate carrier, whereupon the printing table is raised and pressed against the lower heating element with a pressure of approximately 300 - 12,000 kg, wherein, depending on the application, the temperature is 90 - 200°C for a duration of 1 sec.- 60 minutes, and the image which is thus applied is subsequently subjected to a high-gloss process, wherein a PE film is placed on the aluminium image, and the printing table is pressed against the lower heating element with a pressure which is increased by approximately 50 %, whereby the aluminium carrier is heated again and the surface is compressed and the image which is smoothed by this process is given a glossy, highly accentuated surface.
- Process according to Claim 3, characterised in that a print is temporarily applied to both sides of a base, e.g. to a 0.5 mm thick aluminium plate, in that the heat penetrates the material from the base during printing and can therefore also take effect on the back, wherein the image on the back which is to be transferred is placed on the printing table (19), upon which image the base, e.g. the aluminium plate, is placed, followed by the second carrier film with the image applied thereto, wherein both images are then simultaneously printed onto the face and the back in a printing operation as described in Claim 3.
- Process according to Claim 4, characterised in that, in order to produce a high gloss, a respective PE film is placed on the face and on the back and the pressing operation according to Claim 3 is concluded.
