Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for filling a Two-chamber plastic tube, which is essentially one circular cross section and one between two substantially diametrically opposite connection points the partition wall extending from Plastic has an excess length compared to Has tube diameter and together with the tube wall forms the two chambers, one in each chamber Filling nozzle for introducing a filling material introduced and the Then close the tube after removing the filling nozzles becomes. The invention also relates to a device for performing the method with a filling unit and a downstream sealing unit to close the filled tubes.
Two-chamber tubes made of plastic have been around for some time known and offer the advantage of two different substances to be able to record in a tube without being together come into contact, such as one Two-component adhesive is necessary. The production a two-chamber tube is initially made as a flat multilayer structure, being between an upper and a lower tube wall layer forming a partition Plastic layer is arranged. Then the Tube erected into an approximately circular shape, the Tube wall that extends diametrically in the tube a significant excess length compared to the tube diameter having. This excess length means that the The partition does not run in a straight line, but an in takes an unpredictable curved shape.
When filling the two chambers must be in each chamber a filling nozzle can be retracted. It has shown, that the uncontrolled position of the partition is retracting the filling nozzles often obstructed or even leads to the fact that Drive both filling nozzles into the same chamber so that the filling process must be stopped.
In order to avoid incorrect filling of the two-chamber tubes one tries the position of the partition before the filling process video-technically to check the discard the appropriate tube. This procedure is not only technically complex and costly, but also leads to a very high proportion of discarded Tubes that cannot be filled.
The invention has for its object a method to create the type mentioned with the two-chamber tubes can be filled reliably. Beyond that a device can be created with which the method can be carried out in a simple and cost-effective manner.
With regard to the method, the aforementioned task solved in that the partition before inserting the Filling nozzles in their adjacent to the connection points End areas on the inside of the tube wall like this it is determined that the length of the between the end regions remaining middle range essentially that Corresponds to the diameter of the tube.
According to the invention, the partition is thus tightened, by the end portions of the partition due to the Fixing on the tube wall this essentially follow and the middle area between the end areas the partition is essentially straight diametrical based on the circular tube cross section. In this way there is a defined partition wall course given so that the filling nozzles with high accuracy in those defined by the tube wall and the partition Chambers can be introduced. A disability of the Filling process due to an uncontrolled position of the Partition is therefore excluded.
To ensure that the end areas are even the inside of the tube wall is preferred Embodiment of the invention provided that the End areas of the partition over the entire area with the tube wall get connected.
In a development of the invention it is provided that the End areas of the partition with the tube wall superficial be welded. The weld can do this be carried out so that the end areas after filling the Tube are detachable from the tube wall. Instead of one superficial welding can also be another type of connection, for example an adhesive for use come.
A preferably large-area welded joint between the tube wall and the partition, is in a preferred embodiment of the invention in the Tube introduced a heated molding head, which is the partition spans and the end regions of the partition in predetermined Way aligned. Thereupon, from the outside the tube press jaws against the the end areas of the Move sections of the molding head holding the partition, so that the tube wall and the assigned end area the partition between the mold head and the associated Press jaw are arranged. The thermal effect of the molding head leads to the partition in the end areas superficially connected to the inside of the tube wall and adheres to it.
In the connection process, the middle area of the Partition will not be damaged. For this purpose points the molding head preferably has a groove in which the central region the partition is essentially non-contact can be included.
If the partition with the tube wall is only superficial is connected, requires only such a small amount of heat be supplied by means of the molding head that the external press jaws unheated and uncooled could be.
Regarding the device, the above. Task thereby solved that the filling unit upstream of a molding unit is a heated heated insertable into the tube Molding head that uses the end portions of the partition keeps aligned by contact surfaces, and the outside of the Tube arranged press jaws, which against the contact surfaces of the molding head are movable. In this way is it possible that the above Align and clamp the Partition directly in the tube filling machine as another immediately upstream of the actual filling process Provide treatment step so that the temporal and additional equipment costs can be kept low can.
Since the end areas to be connected to the tube wall the partition essentially diametrically opposite are arranged, the contact surfaces are preferably on opposite sides of the forming head. Between the two contact surfaces extends in the Shaped head that touches the middle area of the partition receiving groove, which thus the molding head in two Introductory sections divided.
To make it easier to insert the forming head into the tube and especially trapping the partition in the To ensure that groove is reliable is in further training the invention provided that the insertion portions of the Molding head on its insertion side facing the tube each have guide surfaces, for example can be achieved in that the guide surfaces are inclined towards each other in such a way that the insertion sections one tapering toward its lower free end Have shape.
The contact surfaces are usually parallel to each other aligned. The groove connecting the contact surfaces can run perpendicular to it, but it has proven to be beneficial proven when the groove is oblique to the contact surfaces runs, being between the respective contact surface and the associated groove section an acute angle in of the order of magnitude of approximately 60 ° to 70 ° has proven to be useful Has. This means that the middle area of the Partition runs essentially diagonally in the groove and only selective contact with the groove wall in the area of the transition to the contact surfaces. To be reliable to avoid that the middle area of the partition in the groove comes into contact with the groove wall or flank, can one on the groove flanks each over the entire Length or at least the central area of the groove length extending recess may be provided so that the Groove wall as large a distance to the central area the partition has.
