The cutter blades (6) rest against peripheral cavities (16) in the drum(3) and are clamping against a support surface. The one broad side of the blade forms a slip-in guide with the support surface (19). The contrary broad side of the blade is positively and frictionally connected to a wedge surface (23) parallel with the support surface. The wedge surface belongs to a connecting strip (17) locked by tensioning bolts (18) and movable by pressure bolts (26).

Description

The invention relates to a cutterhead for machines for cross-cutting of Material webs, in particular paper or board webs, with in circumferential recesses arranged the knife drum lying against a contact surface the circumferential recesses clamped and along the contact surface adjustable knives.

Such a knife drum is in German Utility Model 295 12 032 disclosed.

Machines of the type mentioned have two knife drums whose helically arranged knives in circulation in pairs in cutting engagement to cut the web with a paper cut. To be impeccable the knives must slide past each other without play, which is achieved by at least one of two cooperating Knives is arranged adjustable relative to the counter knife.

The invention is based on the object, the clamping and adjusting so improve that economical operation by a mass-reduced knife is possible.

This object is achieved by a knife trommel with the features of claim 1.
An optimal clamping of the blade can be achieved according to a preferred embodiment in that the terminal block contacted with its wedge surface opposite end in the peripheral recess on a substantially tangentenparallelen clamping and sliding surface with the cutterhead and aligned by substantially radially to the cutterhead aligned clamping bolt and transversely aligned pressure pin can be acted upon. In this way, there is a relatively long projecting end of the terminal block, which acts under the action of the clamping and actuating forces of clamping bolts and pressure pin on the wedge surface on the knife pushing and clamping.

In the context of the invention, it would be conceivable to realize in the adjustment the entrainment of the knife by appropriate frictional engagement of the adjacent surfaces of knife and Kleilfläche. Preferably, however, according to an advantageous embodiment, a positive connection, which is formed by an engaging in a groove of the knife, projecting from the wedge surface of the terminal block nose.
Alternatively, the positive connection can also be formed by a stop step of the terminal strip which acts on the knife rear side.
In a consistent development of the novel clamping and adjusting means, the knife can preferably also be designed as a disposable blade having a relatively thin wall thickness.
In addition, material and weight savings according to a further proposal, characterized in that in conjunction with a plastic shaft (CFK shaft) formed cutter drum relevant for the knife holder and - adjustment clamping and guiding surfaces are provided in embedded in the cutterhead metal strips.

The advantage achieved by the invention is that through the stable, large-scale blade support and the indirect attack of the adjusting a extremely low-mass, relatively thin and thus also parallel to the support plane deformable, economical knife can be realized.

The invention will be described below with reference to the drawing Embodiments explained in more detail.
