Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung (10) zum indirekten Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Mediums (16) auf eine laufende Materialbahn (18), insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton, umfaßt ein Auftragswerk (14) zum Aufbringen einer Schicht des flüssigen oder pastösen Mediums auf die Oberfläche (12a) eines Übertragselements (12), welches mit der laufenden Materialbahn (18) in Kontakt steht und die Auftragsschicht an diese überträgt, und eine Egalisiereinrichtung (30) mit einem gegen die Materialbahn (18) anstellbaren Egalisierelement (32) zum Glätten der an die Materialbahn (18) übertragenan Auftragsschicht (26). Das Egalisierelement (32) ist dabei in Querrichtung (Q) der Materialbahn (18), d.h. in einer zur Laufrichtung (L) der Materialbahn (18) im wesentlichen orthogonal und in einer lokalen Materialbahnebene verlaufenden Richtung, feststehend angeordnet.
