Abstract
Eine Vorrichtung (10) zum indirekten Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Mediums (16) auf eine laufende Materialbahn (18), insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton, umfaßt ein Auftragswerk (14) zum Aufbringen einer Schicht des flüssigen oder pastösen Mediums auf die Oberfläche (12a) eines Übertragselements (12), welches mit der laufenden Materialbahn (18) in Kontakt steht und die Auftragsschicht an diese überträgt, und eine Egalisiereinrichtung (30) mit einem gegen die Materialbahn (18) anstellbaren Egalisierelement (32) zum Glätten der an die Materialbahn (18) übertragenan Auftragsschicht (26). Das Egalisierelement (32) ist dabei in Querrichtung (Q) der Materialbahn (18), d.h. in einer zur Laufrichtung (L) der Materialbahn (18) im wesentlichen orthogonal und in einer lokalen Materialbahnebene verlaufenden Richtung, feststehend angeordnet. A device (10) for the indirect application of a liquid or pasty medium (16) to a running material web (18), in particular of paper or cardboard, comprises an application unit (14) for applying a layer of the liquid or pasty medium to the surface (12a ) a transfer element (12) which is in contact with the running material web (18) and transfers the application layer to it, and a leveling device (30) with a leveling element (32) which can be set against the material web (18) for smoothing the material web (18) transferred to order layer (26). The leveling element (32) is arranged in a fixed manner in the transverse direction (Q) of the material web (18), ie in a direction that is essentially orthogonal to the running direction (L) of the material web (18) and in a local material web plane.
