Definitions
- the present invention relates to a spring arrangement for bottom mattresses or as the innerspring of a mattress.
- Such a spring arrangement is known from EP 0 091 469.
- This known spring arrangement serves as a spring element for mattresses and has an essentially hollow spring body on the inside, the outer walls essentially uniformly extending around a central spring direction Axis are arranged and a number of transverse to the spring direction Have openings. It is made of foam and to replace conventional foam mattresses.
- the disadvantage of this spring arrangement is the configuration of the openings in the outer wall of the spring body such that its transverse dimension of almost zero on the inside up to a maximum value on the outside of the spring body varies in the unloaded state.
- An advantageous network or The honeycomb structure is therefore only in the outer circumference of the spring body actually fully present.
- the openings are on the inner circumference closed on the other hand, so that there is no longer a network or honeycomb structure is present. This takes the spring force from the center of the spring body towards the outside.
- the consequence of this is poor tilt and shear stability of the spring body because the main support is close to the center of the spring body takes place, while the outer areas of the The spring body makes little contribution to the support.
- the invention has for its object a spring arrangement of the beginning Specify the type mentioned, despite the low weight of the spring arrangement a high tilt and shear stability of the spring arrangement enables.
- a spring arrangement for bottom mattresses in particular for the elastic support of the individual supporting bodies an arrangement of a plurality of over at least part of the Bottom mattress distributed to support the top mattress provided supporting bodies, or as a spring core of a mattress, with a inside essentially hollow spring body, the outer walls of which are essentially evenly around a central axis extending in the spring direction are arranged and a number of transverse to the spring direction
- Have openings that form a mesh or honeycomb structure, the mesh or honeycomb of the net or honeycomb structure from the outside are continuously open to the inside.
- This configuration gives the spring body according to the invention one high tilt and shear stability as the spring force over the entire thickness the outer wall remains essentially the same.
- the outer walls of the spring body form practically a plurality of interconnected spring elements, which support the supporting body. Due to the external arrangement of these spring elements is also with any, not central load on the supporting body tilting of the support body largely prevented. As well the shear stability of the spring arrangement is improved in this way.
- honeycomb or cell structure can be a desired one, in particular progressive spring characteristic can be set.
- the spring body can be thick at the bottom and thin at the top.
- the shear and tilt stability of the spring arrangement can be further improved.
- the tilt and through the shape of the cross section of the spring body Shear stability can be further improved.
- the spring body can have a triangular, quadrangular or polygonal cross section. The more corners of the Cross-section, the more uniform the tilt and shear stability the spring arrangement around the central axis.
- a circular cross section of the spring body is therefore particularly preferred. This advantageously provides one in all directions equally good tilt and shear stability.
- a fastener for fastening the spring body to a supporting body of a bottom mattress or on a base
- a fastener may be provided, which is disc or is ring-shaped and comprises outward-pointing projections, which in recesses of the spring body can be used.
- This with the support body or the document preferably already connected and possibly also integrally formed with this fastener is especially in connection with a network or spring body having a honeycomb structure can advantageously be used, since the projections of the fastener for Intervention in the mesh of the network or the honeycomb formed could be. Due to the elasticity of the spring body a snap connection is automatically created.
- a another suitable connection is a kind of bayonet lock, in which the fastener in the spring body is turned or vice versa.
- the spring arrangement is preferably made of soft elastic Plastic formed and in particular as one piece Molded part designed. This makes it particularly light and inexpensive to manufacture spring assembly created.
- the supporting bodies for an upper mattress are preferred made of hard plastic and have a perforation, to ensure adequate removal of moisture to ensure from the top mattress.
- the supporting bodies can also consist of wood, in particular from a plywood sheet. This is preferred by punching manufactured, with the perforation punched out becomes. Stamping has the advantage that the production is inexpensive, so that for the first time a wood look can be obtained that looks particularly appealing.
- the spring elements are preferred on the underside tapped into the plywood panel.
- At least one additional spring element available his in the area of the central axis of the spring arrangement at least one additional spring element available his. This can be advantageous for increasing the spring force his. It is important, however, that the outer spring elements continue to make at least a significant contribution to the overall Achieve spring force, otherwise the tilt and shear stability the spring arrangement is adversely affected.
- the spring body 1 shown in Figure 1 is hollow on the inside and has a square cross section.
- the Walls 2 of the spring body 1 surround a central one at a distance Axis I, which extends along the spring direction of the spring body 1 extends.
- the walls 2 of the spring body 1 are in a mesh or Honeycomb structure. This means that the walls 2 consist of a variety of intersecting and interconnected Web 3, preferably made of a flexible plastic.
- On the top and bottom of the spring body 1 are rectangular end elements 4 are provided.
- the closing elements 4 serve to support the spring element 1 on a Base plate or for wearing a not shown here Support body for a top mattress.
- Support body When compressing the spring body 1 along the central axis I by acting on a force, for example Support body deform the walls 2 of the spring body 1 elastic by changing the crossing angle of the webs 3 and by deforming the webs 3 themselves.
- the four side walls 2 of the spring body 1 practically put together from arranged at a distance from the central axis I.
- the high tilt and shear stability of the Spring body 1 of Figure 1 is in the direction of all four Side walls 2 of the spring body 1 are the same. This spring element is therefore particularly advantageous for supporting quasi point-elastic supported individual supporting bodies Suitable under mattress.
- the spring body has a circular Cross section on.
- the wall 2 of the spring body 1 surrounds the central axis I with the same distance on all sides.
- the Spring body 1 is thus rotationally symmetrical about the central one Axis I designed.
- the wall 2 of the spring body 1 here also consists of webs 3, which have a network or honeycomb structure are arranged and the elasticity of the spring body 1 in the direction of the central axis I.
- each annular web 4 is provided.
- this spring body 1 The tilt and shear stability of this spring body 1 is in the same in all directions around the central axis I. Also at decentralized loading of this spring body 1 in any Direction is therefore an optimal elastic support guaranteed.
- FIG. 4 shows a development of the wall 2 of the spring body 1 of Fig. 2, from which the network or honeycomb structure of the Wall 2 becomes particularly clear. As you can see, they cross the webs 3 in this embodiment each under at a right angle. By changing the angle between the webs 3 is an elastic deformation of the spring body 1 possible.
- the spring body 1 shown in Figure 5 also has one circular cross section.
- the cross-sectional diameter however, decreases evenly from the bottom to the Top of the spring body 1 out.
- the network or honeycomb structure only indicated by lines.
- the decrease in cross-sectional diameter has a practical effect an inclination of the plurality of spring elements which the Wall 2 of the spring body 1 represents the central axis I. On the one hand, this causes the wall 2 to bulge outwards compensated and on the other hand the tilt and shear stability of the spring body 1 further increased. Compensation of bulging outwards the wall 2 of the spring body 1 can still thereby be reinforced that the decrease in cross-sectional diameter from the bottom to about the middle of the spring body 1 is chosen stronger than from the center of the spring body up to its top.
- Spring body is shown in Figure 6.
- FIG. 7 shows the top view of a fastening element 6, which in connection with a spring body according to the invention 1 can be used.
- Figure 8 shows its side view.
- the fastener 6 shown has the shape of a flat ring, which on its outer edge with is provided radially outward projections 7.
- the Projections 7 are around the outer edge of the annular portion of the fastener 6 evenly distributed arranged and for engagement in the mesh 8 of the mesh or Honeycomb structure of the spring body 1 designed.
- the spring body 1 By choosing a soft elastic plastic for the spring body 1 can this with the fastener 6 as a snap connection work together. This is the inside diameter of the spring body 1 and the outer diameter of the Fastening element 6 adapted to each other. You can also the mutually facing edges of the spring body 1 and the Fastening element 6 be beveled to a Insert the fastener 6 to facilitate.
- the fastener 6 is as shown in Figures 7 and 8 recognizes connected to a plate 9.
- a plate 9 can be a base or cover plate for the spring body 1, act, for example, a support body for a top mattress.
- the plate 9 is preferably designed as a base plate, which can be attached in the frame of a mattress.
- Spring body 1 are plugged in, this due to the largely rotationally symmetrical design of the Fastening element 6 in practically any orientation can be done.
- the spring body 1 can in turn be preferred already have a supporting body for a top mattress, in particular be welded to such.
- All shown variants of the spring body according to the invention 1 are characterized by good spring properties a high permanent spring elasticity, as well as a high Tilt and shear stability in all directions around the central one Axis I off.
- the spring body 1 can in particular be made of flexible plastic. He therefore has light weight and easy to manufacture.
- All executed variants of the invention can also be used as spring elements can be used for mattresses.
- the spring elements replace the innersprings of conventional innerspring mattresses, where the number of spring elements opposite Innerspring mattresses can advantageously be reduced, because the spring elements are relatively large can be because they have the advantageous support properties indicated above exhibit. Because of the large support surface the spring elements are used to support the mattress as a whole a smaller number, for example 200 to 400 Piece, sufficient. This results in a significant one Cost reduction, the use of such spring elements become economical instead of conventional innersprings leaves.
- the spring elements can also directly, that is can be installed in mattresses without a cover plate. The mattress material then acts as a cover plate or as Support element.
