Description
The invention relates to a connector for a ring-corrugated Coaxial cables having outer conductors, with a Plug head, which has a recess with an annular surface, through which in the amount of an extension of the outer cable from a wave trough towards a wave crest lying front edge area of the cable outer conductor is contactable on the inside, as well as with one against the Plug head clampable contact sleeve, which the outer cable encloses in the assembled state and by by outgoing axial slots in its plug end radially resilient segments is divided at their free Ends have thickenings that when assembled in the first complete wave trough of the cable outer conductor lie and the protruding over the contact sleeve on the plug side End area of the cable outer conductor against the ring surface clamp in the recess of the plug head, the recess an inner diameter at least equal to the outer diameter the contact sleeve in the area of the thickened areas the free ends of the segments plus about twice Corrugation height of the outer cable has and where one Hollow screw enclosing the contact sleeve when assembled after covering a span by screwing in in the recess of the plug head the thickening of the Contact sleeve surrounds and loaded in the clamping direction.
Ein derartiger Steckverbinder ist aus der FR 2 682 819 A1
bekannt.
Such a connector is from
However, it is sometimes necessary to have a pre-assembled one Disassemble the connector at the installation site and reassemble it. In the known connector this can be done Cause difficulties. Especially when assembling it happens that the connector is no longer in the brought pre-assembled state defined in the factory becomes so that it is difficult to assemble on the cable comes.
The invention has for its object a connector to create the genus specified in the introduction, the can be installed easily, quickly and reliably.
This object is achieved in that the Connector has a device that the span the banjo bolt is divided into two sections, of which the first a pre-assembled state of the connector and the end of the second section (L) of final assembly of the connector on the cable end.
The fitter can then use the pre-assembled connector, if necessary for any reason, before assembly Disassemble on the cable and then back into the pre-assembled Bring condition. He always comes back in the pre-assembled state.
In the further course of the assembly the connector needs only on the cable end prepared as usual up to Stop being pushed on. Then the fitter needs just screw the banjo bolt into the plug head, until a prescribed tightening torque is reached, which indicates that the desired clamping of the outer conductor has occurred is. The only one that can be handled separately if necessary Part is the same as for the connector state of the art first on the cable outer conductor O-ring to be fitted. However, this can also be dispensed with if a liquid, e.g. about a radial hole in the hollow screw injected sealing material is used or the seal between the connector and the cable using a shrink tube is made. If during screwing in the banjo bolt of the plug head is held proposed connector compared to that after State of the art has the further advantage that the contacting Surfaces cannot be twisted against each other because the banjo bolt only in the axial direction shifts.
To ensure that the contact sleeve during assembly the correct position of the connector on the cable takes, it is useful if the thickening the free ends of the segments of the contact sleeve one each on a conical outer surface for the Front edge of the cable outer conductor and the cone angle is selected so that the segments are exceeded a certain amount, from the front edge of the cable outer conductor radially spring up the thrust surfaces (Claim 2). This ensures that the front edge the outer cable when pushing on the connector on the cable end the contact sleeve in a defined position in which the thickenings on the free Ends of the segments of the contact sleeve essentially in Height of the ring surface in the recess of the plug head are located. The defined position can in particular by a limiting the axial displacement of the contact sleeve Be determined. For example, can the contact sleeve its cable-side end a circumferential area with an enlarged Have outside diameter, that in the pre-assembled Position with an inner collar in the the banjo bolt interacts.
The device characterizing the pre-assembly state can from a marking of the position of the banjo bolt at the end of the first section (claim 3).
The device can also be designed so that the for screwing in the banjo bolt in the recess of the connector head required torque at the end of the first Section noticeably increased (claim 4).
In particular, the device from one between the Connector head and banjo bolt at the end of the first section arranged O-ring or the like. (Claim 5).
Zusätzlich oder alternativ kann die Einrichtung aus einer am Ende des ersten Spannwegabschnittes befindlichen Materialverformung zwischen den relativ zueinander verschiebbaren Teilen bestehen (Anspruch 6).Additionally or alternatively, the device can be made from an am Material deformation located at the end of the first span section between those that are slidable relative to each other Share exist (claim 6).
The contact sleeve is expediently captive in the banjo bolt kept (claim 7). For this, e.g. the largest outer diameter of the contact sleeve in the amount of the thickening at the free ends of the segments and the width the slots between the segments matched to each other be that the thickenings are sufficient radially allow to squeeze far enough to insert the contact sleeve into the Insert the banjo bolt from the cable end can and the thickening under the inner waistband mentioned above to let the banjo bolt slide through.
To transmit the axial thrust of the banjo bolt to the The thickening at the free ends of the contact sleeve Segments of the contact sleeve have an annular shoulder on the cable side, which cooperates with an inner collar of the banjo bolt (Claim 8).

eingreift. Die Hohlschraube 7 trägt einen O-Ring 8, der bei
in den Steckerkopf eingedrehter Hohlschraube die Abdichtung
der Ausnehmung 51 sicherstellt. Außerdem kann zu dem
Steckverbinder ein Dichtring 9 gehören. The in Figure 1 in the pre-assembled state, so as it from
Manufacturer shipped, illustrated connectors

9 einnimmt, erreichen.According to Figures 2 and 3, the connector sits on the
suitably prepared end of a coaxial cable, but has
has not yet reached its final position. The coaxial cable

In the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the

Hohlschraube 7 frei verschiebbar (vgl. Fig. 1), wird jedoch
(Fig. 2) zwangsläufig in die gezeichnete Stellung gebracht.
Fig. 3 zeigt weiter,
In the pre-assembled state, the

Fig
Stellung befindet. Währenddessen verhindert das rohrförmige
Vorderende 73 der Hohlschraube 7 ein radiales Ausweichen
der Segemente 62 der Kontakthülse 6, denn der Innendurchmesser
des rohrförmigen Vorderendes 73 ist nur geringfügig
größer als der Außendurchmesser der Kontakthülse in
Höhe der Flächen 63c (vgl. Fig. 3) der Verdickungen 63.
When pushing the connector further onto the
