Claims (14)

  1. Dispositif pour éliminer les substances étrangères dans un matériau fibreux, en particulier dans du coton brut, comportant une conduite de transport de fibres pneumatique (1) sur laquelle sont disposés successivement, dans le sens de transport, un système de capteur (2) destiné à détecter les matières étrangères, et un dispositif d'élimination (5) avec au moins un injecteur d'air comprimé (6) qui agit transversalement par rapport à la conduite de transport de fibres, laquelle conduite présente, en face de l'injecteur d'air comprimé, une ouverture (7) qui mène à un récipient d'élimination (8) très étanche à la pression, caractérisé en ce que le récipient d'élimination (8) comporte des moyens (22) pour augmenter temporairement son volume ou des moyens (14, 21) pour extraire temporairement de l'air du récipient d'élimination (8) afin de compenser la quantité d'air injectée dans le récipient d'élimination lors d'une opération d'élimination.
  9. Dispositif selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu, raccordé au récipient d'élimination (8), un dispositif d'acheminement d'air (17) grâce auquel une quantité d'air peut être évacuée du récipient d'élimination.
  10. Dispositif selon la revendication 8 ou 9, caractérisé en ce que le récipient d'élimination est monté en dérivation sur la conduite de transport de fibres (1) par l'intermédiaire du dispositif d'acheminement d'air.
  11. Dispositif selon la revendication 8 ou 9, caractérisé en ce que le récipient d'élimination est relié à une conduite de sortie (20) par l'intermédiaire du dispositif d'acheminement d'air.
  12. Dispositif selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que le récipient d'élimination (8) est relié à une source de dépression par l'intermédiaire d'un organe d'arrêt (15) apte à être commandé.
  13. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 8 à 12, caractérisé en ce que les moyens sont aptes à être activés à l'aide d'un dispositif de commande (12) qui est en relation fonctionnelle avec le système de capteur (2).
