Claims (17)

  1. Valve assembly with one or more valve units comprising several electrically actuable valves and with an electronic control unit connected via control lines to the electrical drives of the valves, characterised in that a casing or casing part (13) containing the electronic control unit is provided with a programming element (31, 32) for the electronic control unit, which may be releasably plugged into the casing.
  2. Valve assembly according to claim 1, characterised in that the programming element (32) is provided with setting switches (33).
  3. Valve assembly according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the programming element (31) is provided with a memory, in particular EPROM, EEPROM, battery-buffered working memory or the like, programmable by a computer or a programming device.
  4. Valve assembly according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the programming element (31, 32) is provided with an electrical connector plug (34) which makes the electrical connections when the programming element (31, 32) is plugged into the valve unit (10).
  5. Valve assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the valves (11) of the valve unit (10) are covered by a plate-like casing part (13) which contains the electrical control unit together with electrical connections (22, 23).
  6. Valve assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the electronic control unit is in the form of a bus station (15) controlled from a central station via a bus.
  7. Valve assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bus station (15) is designed for independent processing of control programs.
  8. Valve station according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the bus station (15) has one or more series (19) connections which may be connected via a connection cable (30) to a series-parallel converter (26) of one or more further valve units (24, 25) and/or one or more input modules for acquiring sensor signals, wherein the series-parallel converter (26) is connected via control lines (27) to the electrical drives of the valves (11) of this or these further valve units (24, 25) in order to control the electrical drives of these valves through the bus station (15) and/or via sensor lines to the sensors.
  9. Valve assembly according to claim 8, characterised in that the central valve unit (10) provided with the bus station (15) has a plug-in connection (18) for the bus, which may be in the form of an electrical or a fibre optic connection.
  10. Valve assembly according to claim 8 or 9, characterised in that the series connection or connections (23) of the central valve unit (10) together with at least one series connection (29) of the further valve unit or units (24, 25) or input module or modules is or are in the form of a plug-in connection for the connection cable (30).
  11. Valve assembly according to claim 10, characterised in that each valve unit (10, 24, 25) and each input module has two connections (22, 23, 29) in the form of plug-in connections.
  12. Valve assembly according to claim 10 or 11, characterised in that the two connections (22, 23, 29) in the form of plug-in connections and the connection cable or cables (30) are also provided for power supply.
  13. Valve assembly according to any of claims 8 to 12, characterised in that the valves (11) of the further valve unit or units (24, 25) are covered by a plate-like casing part (28) which has the series-parallel converter (26) together with the electrical connections (29).
  14. Valve assembly according to claim 5 or 13, characterised in that the plate-like casing part (13, 28) has electrical plug-in connections which, when the plate-like casing part (13, 28) is pushed on to the lined-up valves (11), make the electrical connections to the individual drives of these valves (11).
  15. Valve assembly according to claim 5 or 14, characterised in that the plate-like casing part (13) of the central valve station (10) also contains a power supply component.
  16. Valve assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the valves (11) are in the form of plate valves.
  17. Valve assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that one of the connections (22) of the casing part (13) of the central valve station (10) is in the form of a power supply socket.
