Abstract

The invention concerns a device for fixing a fuel injector on an internal combustion engine cylinder head consisting of a part called bottom part (2a) for covering at least an engine cylinder and a part called top part (2b) defining with the other part a chamber (5) containing mechanical members for actuating valves. The injector (1) passes through these two parts and is supported on the base (8) of a well (4) of the bottom part (2a) by a flange (9) fixed to the cylinder head (13) with screws, and by means of a tubular piece (10) enclosing the injector body and resting on the projecting part of a lock ring (16) mounted in a peripheral groove (15) of the injector body. The invention is characterised in that, the flange (9) is rigidly integral with the tubular piece (10) fitted in a cylindrical recess (14) of the top part (2b).

R E V E N D I C A T I O N S

Dispositif de fixation d'un injecteur de carburant sur une culasse de moteur à combustion interne constituée d'une partie dite inférieure (2a) propre à couvrir au moins un cylindre du moteur et d'une partie dite supérieure (2b) délimitant avec l'autre partie une chambre (5) contenant des organes mécaniques d'actionnement de soupapes, l'injecteur (1 ) traversant ces deux parties et étant maintenu en appui sur le fond (8) d'un puits (4) de la partie inférieure (2a) par une bride (9) fixée par vis ( 13) à la culasse, et par l'intermédiaire d'une pièce tubulaire (10) qui entoure le corps de l'injecteur et prend appui sur une partie saillante d'un jonc (16) monté dans une gorge périphérique ( 15) du corps de l'injecteur, caractérisé en ce que la bride (9) est rigidement solidaire de la pièce tubulaire constituée d'un manchon ( 10) qui est emmanché dans un evidement cylindrique ( 14) de la partie supérieure (2b).1.
