Description

La présente invention a pour objet un emballage métallique comportant un récipient obturé par un couvercle et une capsule de sécurité coiffant le couvercle.
Le brevet français 93 00 099 (2 700 155) décrit un emballage métallique de ce type, dans lequel la capsule de sécurité est dimensionnée pour pouvoir coiffer le couvercle et se verrouiller sur une couronne support d'anse.
Ce système assure une sécurité permettant en principe d'empêcher toute ouverture accidentelle de l'emballage métallique en cas de choc et donc le vidage de son contenu (colle, peinture, liquide inflammable etc.).
Le document FR-A-2 104 677 décrit un emballage comprenant un récipient, un couvercle et une capsule de sécurité. Le récipient est constitué d'un corps et d'une collerette en métal qui est roulée sur elle-même afin de serrer le bord supérieur du corps. Le couvercle comporte une collerette repliée sur elle-même, ayant une surface convexe dirigée vers la collerette du récipient. A l'état fermé du récipient, les deux collerettes présentent un contact entre deux surfaces convexes, suivant une ligne circulaire.
Le document US 4,728,003, qui constitue le préambule de la revendication 1, décrit un emballage métallique comprenant un récipient, obturé par un couvercle et une capsule de sécurité. L'ouverture du récipient est formée par une collerette terminale qui est courbée vers l'extérieur et qui a un profil concave dont la concavité est orientée vers le font du récipient. Le couvercle est muni d'une collerette périphérique. La capsule de sécurité comprend de moyens de verrouillage, sous forme de pattes de fixation. Le récipient est constitué de deux parties liées par un bourrelet serti. Les pattes de fixation sont encliquetées par-dessus le bourrelet et s'appliquent contre la paroi du récipient.
L'invention a pour but de réaliser un emballage métallique muni d'un dispositif de fermeture dont la sécurité soit encore accrue par rapport à ce dispositif antérieur. Ce but est atteint par l'emballage tel que défini dans la revendication 1.
Conformément à l'invention, l'emballage est muni de moyens de verrouillage de la capsule de sécurité directement sur le bord supérieur de la paroi du récipient.
Ainsi cette capsule n'est plus encliquetée sur une pièce rapportée à la paroi du récipient, mais encliquetée directement sur la paroi elle-même, ce qui accroít la solidité et la sécurité de la fermeture.
La capsule de sécurité est pourvue de pattes périphériques flexibles, adaptées pour pouvoir se clipser sur une collerette terminale formée sur l'ouverture du récipient et courbée vers l'extérieur.
Le récipient étant métallique, la solidité de l'encliquetage élastique de la capsule de sécurité sur sa collerette est donc d'autant accrue.
D'autres particularités et avantages de l'invention apparaítront au cours de la description qui va suivre, faite en référence au dessin annexé qui en illustre une forme de réalisation à titre d'exemple non limitatif.
La figure unique est une vue en élévation partielle sensiblement à l'échelle d'une forme de réalisation de l'emballage métallique selon l'invention.
L'emballage métallique représentée aux dessins comporte un récipient 1 à paroi métallique cylindrique, susceptible de recevoir divers liquides, et un couvercle métallique 2.
Ce dernier comprend une collerette périphérique 3 de profil concave et dont la concavité est tournée en direction du fond du récipient. Cette collerette 3 vient en appui sur une collerette terminale 4 formée sur le pourtour de l'ouverture du récipient 1 et courbée vers l'extérieur avec sa concavité orientée vers le fond du récipient 1.
L'emballage comporte également une capsule de sécurité 5 en matière plastique dimensionnée pour pouvoir coiffer le couvercle 2 et qui est équipée d'une série de pattes périphériques 6 flexibles. Ces pattes 6 sont munies chacune d'un bec intérieur 7 adapté pour venir s'accrocher par encliquetage élastique (clipsage) des pattes 6 sur la collerette terminale 4 du récipient 1.
Ainsi la capsule de sécurité 5 est directement encliquetée sur le bord supérieur 4 de la paroi 1 du récipient.
La paroi du récipient 1 est constituée par une pièce annulaire 19 dont le bord extérieur est roulé et accroché sur l'extrémité supérieure de la paroi 1, et dont le bord intérieur, de diamètre inférieur à celui de la paroi 1, est constitué par la collerette terminale 4.
La capsule de sécurité 5 est complétée par une languette latérale 21 de manutention manuelle agencée suivant un profil en U pour permettre l'emboítement d'une boíte superposée.
L'encliquetage de la capsule 5 par ses pattes flexibles 6 directement sur la collerette 4 de la paroi 1 accroít sensiblement la sécurité de la fermeture de l'emballage.
La capsule de sécurité peut également, en variante, être profilée pour présenter un profil gerbable.

Claims (3)

  1. Emballage métallique comportant un récipient (1) obturé par un couvercle (2), et une capsule de sécurité (5) coiffant le couvercle (2), le récipient étant muni d'une collerette terminale (4) qui est formée sur une ouverture de celui-ci, qui est courbée vers l'extérieur, et qui a un profil concave dont la concavité est orientée vers le fond du récipient (1), le couvercle (2) étant muni d'une collerette périphérique (3), l'emballage comprenant en outre des moyens de verrouillage de la capsule de sécurité (5), qui comprennent des pattes périphériques (6) flexibles portées par cette capsule, caractérisé en ce que les pattes périphériques (6) sont adaptées pour pouvoir se clipser sur la collerette terminale (4) du récipient de sorte que les moyens de verrouillage de la capsule de sécurité (5) coopèrent directement avec ladite collerette terminale (4), et en ce que l'extrémité de la collerette périphérique (3) du couvercle a également un profil concave dont la concavité est orientée vers le fond du récipient, et vient en appui sur la collerette terminale (4) du récipient (1).
  2. Emballage métallique suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le bord de la collerette terminale (4) est dirigé vers le fond du récipient.
  3. Emballage métallique suivant la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle (2) comprend un évidement à section en forme de U dont la partie radialement extérieure s'applique contre l'extrémité supérieure du récipient, et en ce que la capsule de sécurité (5) comporte une protubérance de forme complémentaire.
