Abstract
Dieser Leistungsschalter weist eine mit einem isolierenden Medium gefüllte, entlang einer zentralen Achse (2) erstreckte Löschkammer auf. Diese Löschkammer ist mit einer Leistungsstrombahn, welche zwei auf der zentralen Achse (2) angeordnete, voneinander in axialer Richtung konstant beabstandete, eine Lichtbogenzone begrenzende, Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6) versehen. Die Löschkammer weist zudem ein mit der Lichtbogenzone verbundenes Heizvolumen (13) und einen, die Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6) im eingeschalteten Zustand elektrisch leitend verbindenden Überbrückungskontakt auf. Der Überbrückungskontakt ist zentral im Innern der Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6) angeordnet. Zwischen den Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6) ist ein Ringspalt (36) vorgesehen ist, welcher direkt in das Heizvolumen (13) einmündet. Bei diesem Leistungsschalter sind die Strömungsverhältnisse im Bereich zwischen Lichtbogenzone und Heizvolumen (13) wesentlich verbessert. This circuit breaker has an arcing chamber filled with an insulating medium and extending along a central axis (2). This quenching chamber is provided with a power current path, which has two erosion contact arrangements (5, 6) arranged on the central axis (2) and constantly spaced apart from one another in the axial direction and delimiting an arcing zone. The quenching chamber also has a heating volume (13) connected to the arcing zone and a bridging contact which electrically connects the erosion contact arrangements (5, 6) when switched on. The bridging contact is arranged centrally in the interior of the erosion contact arrangements (5, 6). An annular gap (36) is provided between the erosion contact arrangements (5, 6) and opens directly into the heating volume (13). With this circuit breaker, the flow conditions in the area between the arc zone and the heating volume (13) are significantly improved.
