Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for machine oversight of an article with a relief embroidery by hanging a water-soluble underlay material on them Articles before embroidering and dissolving the underlay material in a water bath after embroidery.
It has been known for a long time, articles made of textile fabric, Leather, plastic and the like with one machine embroidered motif. The embroidered motif is only little raised above the surface of the article. Should the motive stand out particularly concisely from the surface of the article, however, a relief embroidery technique is used.
A clearly sublime one, that is, in relief from the plane of the Article protruding from a known motif Procedure by looking at the article before Embroider a sheet of suitable thickness, often a thin foam. At the subsequent Embroidery will be at least along the contours of the motif Follow the embroidery stitches (either while embroidering or in a last embroidery run without embroidery thread) that the underlay material protruding from the motif contours because of its strong perforation can be easily separated. This known method creating a relief embroidery is time-consuming, especially with complex motifs with numerous Contours, because the protruding backing material must be from Can be removed by hand and also falls in the form of small ones and the smallest fragments, but this in series production such relief embroidery in large quantities, the some also pose disposal problems.
From DE 43 43 230 A1 it is known as a base or use several layers of gelatin foil. To theirs The embroidered article is then removed in a water bath inserted. However, this is not for making Articles with relief embroidery on an industrial scale viable alternative to the previously described method, because as it is expressly stated in the publication means, it only takes a layer of gelatin foil to be used about 36 hours until this gelatin foil dissolves Has.
The invention has for its object a method of introductory genre to create the time-saving and cheaper than the previously known relief embroidery process is.
This object is achieved in that the Underlay material made of paper or cardboard and that Dissolution of the underlay material supported by ultrasound becomes.
The invention is thus the first time in industrial Scale usable method for creating a relief embroidery available on an article. Compared to the known method using foam as underlay material works, the method according to the invention has the Advantage that almost any complicated motifs with numerous small but relief-like motif elements can be embroidered. Another advantage is that there is under the finished relief embroidery no documents are left during the previously used foam under the relief embroidery remained and changed in the course of using the article, e.g. when washing or dry cleaning, decomposed and in shape of small particles the cleaning liquor and the article even polluted. Compared to the one working with gelatin foil, known method has the method according to Invention has the advantage that the underlay material is inexpensive and is chemically neutral, as well as - unlike dissolved Gelatin - from a water bath using physical methods can be separated, so that water consumption drops significantly and there is no polluted wastewater. If necessary. can with the Method according to the invention even with a closed Water cycle to be worked. The main advantage of proposed method, however, consists in its industrial applicability as the time to detach of the underlay material under the relief embroidery by 36 and more hours reduced to a few minutes.
The dissolving of the underlay material can be done according to

As a particularly suitable and therefore preferred underlay material has proven itself according to claim 4 rice paper. At the it is best to use several layers, the number of which varies according to the desired majesty of the embroidery.

Figure 1 shows an article in the form of a stick-proof piece of
Around this motif with a relief-like protruding letter
To add "D" is according to Figure 2 on the corresponding
The letter then appears at the specified position "D" embroidered. The embroidery technique is known as such. In usually with a correspondingly reduced voltage of the Upper thread worked. Standard embroidery machines then allow a sublimity of up to around a millimeter.
in Figur 4 angedeutet.
getrocknet. The finished article, in this case the piece of
geeigneten Trägermaterialien in Betracht.
dargestellte Schlingenverlauf. Im Bereich der Reliefstickerei
bildet der Oberfaden "stehende" Schlingen 6.As mentioned earlier, the article does not necessarily have to
consist of a fabric. Rather, everyone comes to the bestik
suitable carrier materials. To distinguish
is just whether it's an embossed item
or whether the strength of the substrate for embroidery
not enough. In the former case, the article
can be embroidered immediately. The result is then in
Figure 5 very schematically in an enlarged side view
illustrated loop course. Relief embroidery
the upper thread forms "standing"
dargestellten sogenannten Tatamistich 7, verfestigt.
Figur 7 zeigt wiederum schematisch
und in stark vergrösserter Darstellung den Schlingenverlauf
mit den Tatamistichen 7 und den stehenden Schlingen
6 der Reliefstickerei. If, on the other hand, it is a non-embroidery-resistant item,
e.g. a carrier material made of very thin and / or soft
Fabric, so the area to be embroidered is first through
full-length embroidery, e.g. in the schematic in Figure 6
