Abstract
Um bei einem Katalysatorgehäuse einen besseren Strömungsverlauf im Trichterbereich zu erhalten werden die Eingangs- und Ausgangstrichter (2; 3) mit ihren Großdurchmessern an Anbindungsschrägen (11; 12) des Katalysator-Wickelbleches (1) angesetzt und verschweißt. Die Trichter (2; 3) werden aus einem Rohrstück durch Aufweiten des einen Endes und Einziehen des anderen Endes hergestellt. Hierdurch erhält man eine deutliche Gewichtsverringerung gegenüber aus Blechplatinen tiefgezogenen Trichtern. In order to obtain a better flow profile in the funnel area in the case of a catalytic converter, the inlet and outlet funnels (2; 3) with their large diameters are attached and welded to connecting bevels (11; 12) of the catalytic converter winding plate (1). The funnels (2; 3) are made from a piece of pipe by expanding one end and drawing in the other end. This results in a significant reduction in weight compared to funnels drawn from sheet metal blanks.
