Claims (7)

  1. Pencil, in particular soft-core pencil, having
    a sleeve-like shank (1) with a front end and a rear end,
    a push rod (3) which is arranged coaxially in the shank (1) and, by way of its shank-side end, is fixed in the axial direction and in the direction of rotation at the rear end of the shank (1),
    a filler element (5) which is connected directly or indirectly to the free end of the push rod, and
    a sleeve-like front part (2) which encases the filler element (5) at least over part of its length, interacts with the push rod (3) in the manner of a helical gear mechanism and can be retracted into the shank by rotation relative to the latter,
       characterized in that the filler element (5) is connected rotatably to the push rod (3).
  2. Pencil according to Claim 1, characterized by a filler-element retaining means (4) which retains the filler element (5) by way of one end directed towards the pencil tip (17), is fixed rotatably on the push rod (3) by way of its shank-side end and is connected to the front part (2) in a manner locked with respect to torques.
  3. Pencil according to Claim 2, characterized in that the filler-element retaining means (4) is a sleeve, the filler element (5) being positioned, by way of its shank-side end, in that section of said sleeve which is directed towards the pencil tip (17), and the front part (2) enclosing said sleeve with a form fit acting in the direction of rotation.
  4. Pencil according to Claim 3, characterized in that a radially inwardly projecting annular protrusion is arranged in the inner surface of the shank-side section of the filler-element retaining means (4) and engages in the manner of a snap-fit connection in a narrowed portion (19) arranged at the tip end (18) of the push rod (3).
  5. Pencil according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the push rod (3) is fixed in terms of rotation on the shank (1) and, in its circumferential surface, has a helical groove (7) which forms an external thread and into which the front part (2) engages.
  6. Pencil according to Claim 5, characterized by a snap-fit connection which acts between the helical groove (7) and the front part (2) and has an axially running joining direction.
  7. Pencil according to Claim 6, characterized by at least one clamping jaw (27) which is integrally formed at the shank-side end of the front part (2), is in engagement with the helical groove (7) and is prestressed elastically in the engagement direction.
