geschlossenen Stellung gehalten. Die Umhüllung 11 wird üblicherweise
durch die Materialbahn selbst gebildet. Deren äußeres
Ende ist durch Klebung bzw. durch einen Klebestreifen mit der
benachbarten Lage verbunden, wodurch die äußere geschlossene
Umhüllung 11 entsteht. Diese muß für die Ingebrauchnahme der

oder abzusetzen. Bei dem vorliegenden Beispiel werden
die Bobinen 10 einzeln im Bereich einer Übergabestation 27 zugeführt,
zum Beispiel durch einen Überkopfförderer. Die betreffende
Bobine 10 wird dabei von oben in die Aufnahme 22 eingesetzt,
nämlich auf den Lagerstangen 23, 24 abgelegt. Die Übergabestation
27 befindet sich außerhalb der Tragstangen 13, 14.
Der Wagen 16 wird sodann in Längsrichtung der Tragstangen 13,
14 verfahren, bis die betreffende Bobine auf den Tragstangen
13, 14 abgesetzt werden kann, und zwar durch Abwärtsbewegung
der Aufnahme 22.The bearing
Der Wagen 16 führt auch den Weitertransport der Bobinen 10 innerhalb
des Magazins 12 durch. Dabei wird die Aufnahme 22 zur
Übernahme und Abgabe einer Bobine 10 entsprechend auf- und abbewegt.
Die Aufnahme 22 ist zu diesem Zweck an Stützstangen 28,
29 gelagert bzw. auf diesen angeordnet. Die Stützstangen 28, 29
sind in Vertikalrichtung in Führungen gelagert, und zwar je in
einem der Schlitten 20, 21 des Wagens 16. Die Stützstangen 28,
29 können durch geeigneten Antrieb, zum Beispiel durch ein
Zahnstangengetriebe oder durch einen Druckmittelzylinder in
vertikaler Richtung bewegt werden. Die untere Endstellung ist
in Fig. 2 strichpunktiert dargestellt.The
Die Bobinen 10 werden in einer Öffnungsstation 30 für die Verarbeitung
vorbereitet, nämlich im Bereich der Umhüllung 11 geöffnet.

Zum Öffnen wird die Bobine 10 von dem Wagen 16 erfaßt und durch
die Öffnungsstation 30 hindurchbewegt. Durch die Relativbewegung
wird selbsttätig ein Öffnungsaggregat 31 in der Öffnungsstation
30 wirksam. Das Öffnungsaggregat 31 trennt einen Streifen,
nämlich einen Öffnungsstreifen 32, aus der Umhüllung 11
heraus, so daß diese durchtrennt ist. Die Außenumhüllung 11
hängt danach mit freien Schenkeln 33, 34 seitlich am Umfang der
Bobine 10. Einer der Schenkel 33, 34 wird bei Ingebrauchnahme
der Bobine 10 zum Abziehen der Bahn erfaßt.To open the
Das Öffnungsaggregat 31 ist mit einem Abreißorgan versehen,
welches die Umhüllung 11 an der Außenseite erfaßt und durch Relativbewegung
den Öffnungsstreifen 32 aus der Umhüllung 11
herausreißt. Die Umhüllung 11 besteht dabei aus reißfähigem Material,
wie Papier, Stanniol oder dergleichen. Bei dem vorliegenden
Ausführungsbeispiel wird die Relativbewegung der Bobine
10 dadurch erreicht, daß der Wagen 16 die betreffende Bobine 10
an dem ortsfest positionierten Abreißorgan vorbeibewegt. Dieses
ist auf der dem Umfang der Bobine 10 zugekehrten Seite mit
einem Haftmittel versehen, zum Beispiel einem (starken) Kleber
44, der infolge Verbindung mit der Umhüllung 11 den anhaftenden
Bereich, also den Öffnungsstreifen 32, heraustrennt.The
Das Abreißorgan ist im vorliegenden Falle ein (endliches) Abreißband
35. Dieses wird von einer Rolle 36 takt- bzw. abschnittsweise
abgezogen. Ein der axialen Abmessung der Bobine
10 entsprechender Abschnitt des Abreißbandes 35 wird mit einer
auf der zugekehrten Seite angeordneten Klebefläche an die Umhüllung
11 angedrückt und mit dieser verbunden. Zu diesem Zweck
wird das Abreißband 35 über eine Andrückrolle 37 geleitet, die
den betreffenden Abschnitt des Abreißbandes 35 an die Bobine 10
andrückt. Das Abreißband 35 wird dabei im Bereich der Andrückrolle
37 mit einer (Umfangs-)Geschwindigkeit bewegt, die der
Fördergeschwindigkeit der Bobine 10 entspricht. Die Andrückrolle
37 besteht aus elastischem Material bzw. ist mit einem

Bei Bahnen aus einem Material geringer Reißfähigkeit, zum Beispiel

des Öffnungsstreifens 32 unterstützt durch Hilfsorgane, die am
Umfang der Bobine 10 anliegen und die Reißlinie bestimmen. Bei
dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel handelt es sich dabei um
(zwei im Abstand voneinander angeordnete) Reißkanten 43, die zu
beiden Seiten des Abreißbandes 35 am Öffnungsaggregat 38 in
einer Schrägstellung positioniert sind. Die Reißkanten 43 kommen
beim Anheben des Öffnungsaggregats am Umfang der Bobine 10
zur Anlage. Angeschärfte Ränder bzw. Kanten unterstützen den

bzw. an dem Öffnungsaggregat 31 vorbeibewegt werden kann. Alternativ
kann das Öffnungsaggregat 31 verfahrbar bzw. einer Bobine
10 zustellbar sein.The

12 angetrieben werden. Beispielsweise kann dem Wagen
eine (handelsübliche) Lineareinheit als Antriebsorgan zugeordnet

Claims (9)
- Method for preparing reels (10) of wound webs of material, such as paper, cardboard, tinfoil or foil, by removing or opening a closed outer wrapping (11), characterized in that an opening strip (32) is separated from the wrapping (11) in the axial direction of the reel (10), in particular from an outer layer of the wound web of material.
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that, in the case of a wrapping (11) of tearable material, in particular paper, tinfoil, foil or the like, the opening strip (32) is removed from the wrapping (11) by being torn off or torn out.
- Apparatus for preparing reels (10) of wound webs of material, such as paper, cardboard, tinfoil or foil, by removing or opening a closed outer wrapping (11), characterized by an opening assembly (31) with a tear-off member, in particular a tear-off band (35), which picks up the wrapping (11) on the outside, in particular by adhesive connection to the wrapping (11), and which separates an opening strip (32) from the wrapping (11) on account of an axial relative movement between the tear-off member or tear-off band (35) and the reel (10).

- Apparatus according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the opening station (30) is integrated into a magazine (12) for receiving a plurality of reels (10) spaced apart from one another, a single carriage (16) being movable in the longitudinal direction of the magazine (12) and transporting one reel (10) in each case.
- Apparatus according to Claim 4 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the carriage (16) can be moved below the reels (10) mounted in the magazine (12) and picks up or sets down one reel (10) in each case by means of a receptacle (22) which can be moved up and down.
- Apparatus according to Claim 3 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the tear-off band (35) of the opening assembly (31) is an endless band which can be pressed, with one side facing the reel (10) and having a bonding agent (44), against the outer surface or wrapping (11) of the reel (10) in such a way that the tear-off band (35) is locally bonded to the wrapping (11), and that, due to the relative movement, the opening strip (32) can be separated from the wrapping (11) by the tear-off band (35).
- Apparatus according to Claim 7 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the tear-off band can be pressed against the circumference or the wrapping (11) of the reel by means of an elastic nipping roller (37), and in that the tear-off band (35) - with the opening strip (32) - can be wound onto a collecting roll (39).
- Apparatus according to Claim 3 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the opening assembly (31) has a tearing aid to bear on the circumference of the reel (10) in the region of the opening strip (32), in particular two (sharpened) tear-off edges (43) positioned at a distance from each other and on both sides of the opening strip (32).
