Abstract

Bei einem Vormischbrenner (1), der im wesentlichen aus mindestens einem axial oder quasi-axial verlaufenden ringförmigen Kanal für die Zuführung einer Verbrennungsluft (2) besteht, sind innerhalb dieses Kanals anströmungsseitig Wirbel-Generatoren (200) angeordnet, welche der Verbrennungsluft (2) einen Drall aufzwingen. Weiter stromab befinden sind radial angeordnete Brennstoffdüsen (12, 5) zur Eindüsung eines flüssigen (12a) oder gasförmigen (5a) Brennstoff. In Wirkverbindung mit diesen Brennstoffdüsen (12, 5) wirken dort weitere Drallerzeuger (4), welche insbesondere beim Betrieb des Vormischbrenners (1) mit einem flüssigen Brennstoff (12a) die feine zerstäubung einleiten. Anschliessend folgt eine Verdampfungsstrecke (6), in welcher die endgültige Vergasung des Brennstoffes stattfindet. Der ringförmige Kanal erfährt im Bereich der Brennerfront (9) eine Querschnittserweiterung (10). In diesem Bereich bildet sich auch eine Rückströmzone (11), welche der Stabilisierung der Flammenfront bewirkt- Die Brennstoffeindüsung wird von der Flammenstrahlung geschützt, indem die Verdampfungsstrecke (6) eine Aufwölbung (13) beschreibt.

This is followed by an evaporation section (6) in which the final gasification of the fuel takes place. The annular channel undergoes a cross-sectional widening (10) in the area of the burner front (9). A backflow zone (11) also forms in this area, which stabilizes the flame front. The fuel injection is protected from the flame radiation by the evaporation section (6) describing a bulge (13).
