Abstract

A wiping cloth for a floor mop has cleaning fibres (11) secured to the carrier material (9) in tufts. The carrier material structure is strengthened by a finish with a high adhesion e.g. latex or silicon. The edge (8) has its own pile yarns (13) at the upper side (12).

Description

The invention relates to a wipe for a cleaning device, especially a floor wiper for wet cleaning, according to the preamble of claim 1.

In a known wipe of the generic type (DE-C-3139245) the cut is chosen so that on all sides about 5 cm wide edge is formed, which by turning over Is stiffened above and inside and by sewing or gluing. The pile threads are very close together and according to Art of the double velvet process on a base fabric with warp and Weft held. This is to stabilize the pile threads Tissue by coating or draining with a Binder stabilized. This is to prevent the relatively hard edge of the base fabric with the baseboards and with Furniture feet or bases come into contact and this scratched. It should also be achieved that the edge raised when the floor wiper on the baseboards is guided along the skirting boards at the same time to clean with. However, it has been found that a such wider and stiffer and heavier when wet Edge does not optimally clean the baseboards and the corners, i.e. the Transition to the floor on the baseboards, not be satisfactorily recorded. The disadvantage is also the high due to the turning of the borders Fabric consumption of the expensive pile fabric and the labor intensive Production. Another disadvantage is that of the known ones Fabrics used exclusively for finishing. These are an acrylic coating, which is based on its physical Properties the pile thread holds securely in the base fabric but hides no temperatures around 100 °. This means that a such a wipe cannot be cooked. Another Disadvantage of the acrylate coating is the hardness, so that frequent wringing of a wipe with increasing duration of the Use of an embrittlement occurs. This allows the Coating, which is not desired, absorb water.

The object of the invention is to provide a wipe of the generic type To create kind that can be manufactured inexpensively with the proper cleaning of the baseboards and in particular the corner between the floor and baseboards is possible, that safely prevents scratching of the furniture feet or bases and that is very elastic and boil-proof.

This object is achieved by the characterizing Features of claim 1 solved. These features make a significantly cheaper production of the wipe achieved.

Because the edge of the base fabric is not turned over, the material consumption is reduced. It's also through tufting to create created basic fabrics cheaper than before used for wipes, in the manner of the double velvet process manufactured base fabrics. The coating also brings along a soft finish made of latex or silicone for a secure hold of the wipe on the holding frame. Slipping when wiping is completely excluded. As a result, the edge has no holding function to meet more. After all, the wipe can do what is particularly important for hygienic reasons Cooked for cleaning or washed very hot. Through the Placing your own pile on the top of the edge the possibility arises, this pile a different one To give texture for the cleaning of the common occurring, profiled baseboards and furniture feet or -socket is more suitable than the pile on the wiping side. Based on the knowledge that the baseboards and the Furniture feet or bases are usually less dirty, than the floor, the pile is on the top of the edge preferably voluminoeser and softer than the pile on the Wiping side, so that scratching the parts with Avoided safety, but cleaned the floor well is still ensured. A supernatant of the Pile threads on the top over the edges of the wipe out.

The use of latex or silicone in a heat sensitive Setting also has the advantage that a wider range of carrier material, e.g. a tissue in Linen weave warp weft 1 to 1-90 ° or a synthetic fleece, can be used. Due to the high static friction, even in a fleece a good anchorage of the tufted cleaning fibers reached.

Finally, it can be beneficial, especially when used an extrusion device for the wipe when the pile threads on the top made of non-water-absorbent synthetic fibers are made.

A further improvement in usage properties is linked with an even better hold of the wipe on the holding frame brings a higher layer thickness of the soft finish, up to twice the value, in the area of the support frame support.

An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. Show it:
Figure 1
2 shows a top view of a floor wiper with a wipe attached to a holding frame,
Figure 2
a plan view of a portion of the wipe on a larger scale and
Figure 3
a section along the line III-III in Figure 1.

Das Wischtuch 5 ueberragt den Halterahmen 4 allseitig mit einem Rand 8.In Figure 1, a floor wiper 1 is shown, the one gimbaled on a plate 2 stem 3 and one Has holding frame 4 for a wipe 5. The holding frame 4 has two brackets 6 which are pivotally attached to the plate 2 are so that these irons in pockets 7 on the top of the Wiping cloth 5 can be introduced. The wipe 5 protrudes the holding frame 4 on all sides with an edge 8.

As can be seen from Figure 3, the wipe 4 consists of a carrier material 9 which is on the underside (wiping side) 10 is provided with cleaning fibers 11. The cleaning fibers 11 are classified in the carrier material 9 and with a soft finish made of latex or silicone anchored in the carrier material 9.

The edge 8 is on the top 12 of the carrier material 9 provided pile threads 13 which are essentially transverse to the edges 15 of the carrier material 9 in a length that the Width of the edge 8 corresponds to, extend and through longitudinal seams 14 with each other and with the carrier material 9 in the middle of the Edge 8 are connected. The pile threads 13 extend preferably somewhat over the edges 15 of the carrier material 9 out to cover the edges 15 and gentle cleaning of baseboards and furniture feet or bases.

Of course, the dimensions and position information are taken into account tolerances necessary in textile processing see and can easily in the present application fluctuate considerably.

The pile threads on the top 12 of the edge 8 can be one have a different nature than the cleaning fibers 11 the bottom 10. It has been shown that favorable results can be achieved if the pile formed by the pile threads 13 is softer and fluffier than that of the lower ones Cleaning fibers 11 formed pile.

The pile threads 13 can also initially be sewn 16 or gluing together to form a tape 17, which is then on the top 12 of the edge is attached.

Instead of a single belt, if necessary several bands 17 side by side on the top 12 of the edge 8 are attached.
