Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a formwork for the production of round concrete columns, which consists of a hollow body which can be composed of one or more individual parts, which are flush with one another on their support surfaces, which run in the longitudinal direction of the hollow body, and are held together by a tensioning device.
Each of the bearing surfaces is provided with an arrangement of so-called teeth, which enable mutual anchoring. In this case, only two supporting surfaces assigned to one another necessarily have to be complementary to one another. The teeth are designed so that the pressure generated by the clamping device on the toothed bearing surfaces causes the parts lying against one another in the longitudinal direction to be pressed together to form the required hollow body in such a way that they are flush with one another. In addition, the parts are prevented from moving or twisting due to their mutual anchoring. In order to achieve the described effect of the anchoring, it is necessary to design it in such a way that instead of a plane longitudinal section running in the radial direction as a supporting surface, these are chamfered at two or more, gradually alternating, different angles. The approaches of the various oblique teeth that result from this form a continuous line on the later inside of the formwork, while the step line of the anchoring can be seen on the outer wall of the formwork. It must also be ensured that the distances between the individual teeth are neither too large nor too small in order to avoid unnecessarily weakening the stability both in the longitudinal direction and in the radial direction.
The task of absorbing the radially outward forces that occur in the course of concreting the formwork is taken over by a tensioning device that includes the formwork.
The use of a tubular formwork, which is divided into two half-shells parallel to the longitudinal axis, is suitable for the production of round concrete columns that have a constant diameter over their entire length.
In the past, round columns made of concrete were usually made with the help of wooden cladding, which consists of individual slats that are to be fastened on so-called wreaths and that have to be assembled in several complex work steps and secured against the high pressures. Another one Common method is the use of round formwork parts made of sheet steel elements. However, this proved to be uneconomical for small quantities and for the execution of special connecting structures, such as coves to be made at the upper end of the column or subsequent concrete walls. The manufacture of round concrete columns using different types of one-way formwork is also very common. In addition to the use of a sheet metal strip, which is wound spirally and folded into a tube, which can then be concreted, but which leaves irregularities in the concrete surface and requires post-treatment, there is also the option of creating a formwork from a plastic pipe, which is cut when the concrete hardens. Although this offers the advantage of a flawless column surface, it is not justifiable from an ecological point of view due to the large quantities of heavy plastic waste. In addition, the high material costs become noticeable with increasing quantities. From this arises the task on which the invention is based, to combine a high quality of the manufactured concrete round column with economic and ecological aspects.
An important advantage of the formwork described above is its frequent reusability. The solid individual parts, which can be formed from plastic or another material that is dimensionally stable under the loads that occur, do not require any complex mechanics and can be cleaned without problems. This means that all the advantages are cumulative that could previously only be realized individually and with different products. The reusability of elaborate wooden and metal formwork, which leaves annoying marks in the hardened concrete, is combined in the present case with the extremely simple feasibility of assembling and disassembling one-way formwork. On the other hand, those on the one hand raise the problem of waste disposal, which should be the focus of more attention today, and on the other hand, their use entails significantly higher costs overall.
By appropriate arrangements of closable bores, it is also possible with this formwork to allow connecting iron to protrude for connection structures to be created in direct connection. Final column widenings - so-called " haunches" - can also be carried out according to the invention.
In principle, any device is suitable as a tensioning device, by means of which the formwork can be reclamped in such a way that a uniform holding of the individual formwork parts is ensured over the duration of the hardening of the poured concrete.
