Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen nachfüllbaren Flüssigkeitsschreiber mit einem Schreibtank zur Versorgung der Schreibspitze mit Schreibflüssigkeit, sowie einen zugehörigen Nachfüllbehälter, welcher mit dem Flüssigkeitsschreiber in einem direkten funktionalen Zusammenhang steht. Der Schreibtank von Flüssigkeitsschreibern wird beim Schreiben allmählich geleert und im gleichen Volumen strömt Luft von außen in das Tankinnere. Wenn dieser Schreibtank leergeschrieben ist, kann er mit Schreibflüssigkeit nachgefüllt oder durch einen vollen Schreibtank in Form einer Patrone ersetzt werden. Zum Nachfüllen wird der Flüssigkeitsschreiber mit seinem hinteren Ende auf die Injektionsnadel gesteckt, wobei diese das Ventilplättchen durchdringt. Durch unter Druck setzen des Nachfüllbehälters wird anschließend die Schreibflüssigkeit in den Vorratstank des Flüssigkeitsschreibers gedrückt. Hierbei kann die aus dem Vorratstank verdrängte Luft nur über den Luftkanal an der Schreibspitze des Flüssigkeitschreibers entweichen. Bei den herkömmlichen Schreibgeräten mit Schreibtank gibt es aber noch einen weiteren Problemkreis. Sie weisen nämlich eine nicht sehr große Schreibkapazität auf. In Figur 1 ist der ganze Schreiber teilweise aufgeschnitten dargestellt. In seinem Gehäuse 1 enthält er einen Schreibtank 2. Die Schreibspitze wird hier von einer Schreibfeder 4 gebildet, die über einen sogenannten Tintenleiter in bekannter Weise vom Schreibtank 2 aus gespeist wird. Anstelle einer Feder kann aber auch ein Filz oder Roller als Schreibspitze vorhanden ein. Das besondere Merkmal dieses Schreibers ist nun, daß zusätzlich zum Schreibtank 2 ein gesonderter Vorratstank 3 im Schreiber vorhanden ist, von dem aus der Schreibtank 2 über eine als Ventil 6 wirkende Verbindung nachfüllbar ist. Dieser Vorratstank ist seinerseits von außen über ein Ventil 13 aus einem zugehörigen Nachfüllbehälter nachfüllbar. Zuerst wird nun auf den Schreiber im einzelnen eingegangen. Im hier gezeigten Beispiel ist der Schreibtank 2 wesentlich kleiner als der Vorratstank 3. Dies ist mit Absicht so gewählt, weil dadurch sichergestellt wird, daß der Schreibtank 2 von Temperatur- und Druckschwankungen nur wenig beeinflußt wird, da die sich beim Schreiben durch die in den Schreibtank nachströmende Luft bildende Luftblase stets relativ klein ist und daher keine Probleme verursacht, die zum Klecksen führen könnten. Damit der Schreiber aber dennoch eine große Schreibkapazität bieten kann, weist er den gezeigten Vorratstank 3 auf, von welchem aus der Schreibtank 2 über eine als Ventil wirkende Verbindung nachfüllbar ist. Dieser separate Vorratstank 3 weist wesentlich mehr Volumeninhalt auf als der Schreibtank 2. Somit kann mit ihm der Schreibtank 2 mehrmals nachgefüllt werden. Um dieses Nachfüllen einfach zu ermöglichen, ist die als Ventil 6 wirkende Verbindung im gezeigten Beispiel durch eine Trennwand 5 verwirklicht, die einen Ventilsitz 8 aufweist, in welchem ein Ventilteller 7 dichtend sitzt, der von einer Ventilstange 9 getragen ist. Wenn das so gebildete Ventil 6 geschlossen ist, sind der Schreibtank 2 und der Vorratstank 3 dicht voneinander getrennt. Wird das Ventil 6 geöffnet, so stehen sie miteinander in Verbindung und die von ihnen enthaltene Flüssigkeit kann je nach Gefälle in beiden Richtungen durch das Ventil 6 strömen. In einer noch einfacheren Ausführung, bei welcher das Innere des Vorratstanks 3, wie auch in Figur 1 gezeigt, gegen das hintere Ende des Schreibers hin konisch zusammenläuft, könnte der Ventilteller auch selbst die Trennwand bilden, wobei sein Rand dann mit einer Gummidichtung in Form eines O-Rings versehen wäre, welcher an der Tankinnenwand dichtend anliegen würde. Das Ventil 6 wird in beiden Fällen so betätigt, daß die Ventilstange 9 etwas gegen die Schreibspitze 4 hin, wie mit dem Pfeil 14 angezeigt, verschoben wird. Der Ventilteller 7 wird somit aus seinem Ventilsitz 8 herausgehoben und öffnet die Verbindung zwischen dem Vorratstank 3 und dem Schreibtank 2. Die Ventilstange 9 trägt an ihrem hinteren Ende einen Betätigungsknopf 10. Um das Ende der Ventilstange 9 herum ist eine Druckfeder 11 angeordnet, welche in einer zum Schreiber ortsfesten Fassung 15 steckt. Mit ihrer Oberseite beaufschlagt diese Druckfeder 11 die Unterseite des Druckknopfes 10, welcher dann als Nachfüll-Druckknopf 10 dient. Die Ventilstange 9 ist dort, wo sie die Fassung 15 durchstößt, gegenüber dieser abgedichtet. Innerhalb des Randbereiches der Fassung 15 verläuft eine feine Kanüle 16 zum Nachfüllen des Vorratstanks 3. In diese Kanüle 16 ist ein Ventil in Form einer Gummimembran 13 eingebaut, die ein zentrales feines Loch aufweist. Diese Gummimembran 13 ist im entspannten Zustand, wenn keine Nadel im Loch steckt, dicht verschlossen, so daß die Kanüle 16 dichtend unterbrochen ist.In Figure 1 the whole recorder is shown partially cut away. Nach der Befüllung des Vorratstanks 3, welche später noch im einzelnen beschrieben wird, bleibt der Schreibtank 2 vorerst immer noch leer. Um den Schreiber zum Schreiben betriebsbereit zu machen, wird jetzt auf den Nachfüll-Druckknopf 10 gedrückt, wonach das Ventil 6 zwischen Vorratstank 3 und Schreibtank 2 geöffnet wird und sogleich die Schreibflüssigkeit vom Vorratstank 3 in den Schreibtank 2 strömt und diesen füllt. Diese Befüllung des Schreibtankes 2 dauert bloß einige Sekunden. Danach wird der Druckknopf 10 wieder entlastet und das Ventil 6 zwischen dem Schreibtank 2 und dem Vorratstank 3 schließt. Jetzt ist der Schreiber betriebsbereit. Mit seinem Gebrauch wird der Schreibtank 2 nach und nach entleert, wobei das identische Volumen der ausströmenden Schreibflüssigkeit von einströmender Luft ersetzt wird. Weil der Schreibtank 2 aber relativ klein ist, gibt die entstehende Gasblase selbst bei größeren Temperatur- und Druckschwankungen in der Umgebungsluft zu keinen Problemen Anlaß. Sobald der Schreibtank 2 leergeschrieben ist, wird kurz auf den Nachfüll-Druckknopf 10 gedrückt und sogleich ist der Schreiber wieder betriebsbereit. Wird der Schreiber auf Reisen im Flugzeug mitgenommen, so kann sicherheitshalber in einer Lage des Schreibers mit der Schreibspitze nach oben auf den Druckknopf 10 gedrückt werden, wodurch die Schreibflüssigkeit im Schreibtank 2 augenblicklich in den Vorratstank zurückströmt. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, daß nichts aus der Schreibfeder 4 ausläuft, weil die Flüssigkeit dann gänzlich und sicher im Vorratstank 3 gelagert ist, welcher allseits dicht abgeschlossen ist. Um noch größere Sicherheit gegen ein mögliches Auslaufen von Tinte zu bieten, könnte der Schreiber auch mit einem manuell betätigbaren Entlastungsventil ausgerüstet sein, um einen unter extremen Bedingungen im bald leeren Vorratstank möglicherweise aufgebauten Überdruck abzulassen. Dieses Ventil könnte zum Beispiel kurzzeitig betätigt werden, indem der Druckknopf 10 gedrückt wird, wobei eine Entlastungsbohrung im Schreibergehäuse von einer Entlastungsleitung überstrichen würde, die ihrerseits mit dem Vorratstank 3 kommuniziert. Wenn diese Entlastungsbohrung mit der Entlastungsleitung kommuniziert, kann der Druck abgelassen werden. In die Entlastungsleitung kann ein Tampon eingebaut sein, welcher die Tinte gegenüber der Luft etwas zurückhält. Seitlich des Vorratstanks 3 weist der Schreiber ein Sichtfenster auf, durch welches der Füllstand im Vorratstank 3 einsehbar ist. Weil dieser Schreiber einen insgesamt viel größeren Tankinhalt als herkömmliche Füller aufweist, hat er eine entsprechend größere Schreibkapazität. Zum Befüllen des Vorratstanks 3 dient ein spezieller Nachfüllbehälter 20, wie er in Figur 2 dargestellt ist. Dieser Nachfüllbehälter 20 weist eine Injektionsnadel 21 auf, die vorteilhaft von einer schützenden Hülse 23 umschlossen ist, und deren Spitze von einer zurückschiebbaren Gummidichtung umschlosssen ist. Der Nachfüllbehälter 20 weist im übrigen Mittel auf, um die in ihm enthaltene Flüssigkeit unter Druck setzen zu können. Im gezeigten Beispiel ist der Nachfüllbehälter 20 aus Kunststoff gefertigt und bildet einen faltbaren Balg 22. Durch Zusammendrücken des Balges 22 wird der Druck im Innern erhöht. Die Innenwandung der Hülse 23 weist ein oder mehrere Längsrillen 25 oder Nuten 24 auf, die in entsprechende Längsnuten 26 oder Rillen 27 am Ende des Schreibers einpassen. Die Hülse 23 verhindert zudem, daß zum Beispiel Schüler dazu verleitet werden, den Nachfüllbehälter 20 als Spritzpistole zu verwenden, indem sie mit einem Finger die Gummidichtung zurückziehen und so die Nadel 21 freilegen, um dann gleichzeitig zu pumpen, wodurch die Tinte natürlich verspritzt werden könnte. Dank der Hülse 23 kann die Gummidichtung, welche im Nichtgebrauchszustand die Ausgießmündung an der Nadel 21 verschließt, nicht leicht zurückgeschoben werden, wodurch Tinte ausfließen könnte. Die Injektionsnadel 21 und die Hülse 23 sitzen zusammen auf einem aufschraubbaren Deckel 28, nach dessen Wegschrauben der Nachfüllbehälter seinerseits aus einem größeren Kanister nachfüllbar ist. Letztlich sind es entweder die Nachfüllbehälter selbst, welche im Laden gekauft werden, oder aber die Nachfüllbehälter können im Laden aus einem größeren Kanister nachgefüllt werden. Figur 3 zeigt den Aufbau der Injektionsnadel 21 am Nachfüllbehälter 20 anhand eines Längsschnittes. Die Injektionsnadel 21 weist im Innern ihrer Spitze zwei getrennte Bohrungen auf, nämlich eine Bohrung 29 zur Führung der nachzufüllenden Flüssigkeit, welche von hinten zentral durch die Nadel führt und im vorderen Bereich seitlich in einen Längsschlitz 44 mündet. Durch die so gebildete Ausgießöffnung 44 kann die Tinte ausfließen. Eine weitere Bohrung geht von der Spitze der Nadel 21 aus und mündet in gleicher Weise in den Schlitz 32, welcher der Ausgießöffnung 44 gegenüberliegt. Diese Bohrung mit ihrem Mündungsschlitz 32 wirkt als Entlüftungsbohrung 45 zur Führung der im nachbefüllten Behälter verdrängten Luft. Die ganze Injektionsnadel 21 steckt in einem Führungsröhrchen 34. Diese Führungsröhrchen 34 bildet an seinem vorderen Rand eine innenliegende Schulter 36, an welcher eine von hinten eingesetzte Hülse 37 anliegt und gehalten wird. In dieser Hülse 37 sitzt eine Gummidichtung 33, die ihrerseits von einem Nippel 38 beaufschlagt ist. Diese Gummidichtung 33 weist auf der einen Seite eine radiale Entlüftungsbohrung 43 auf. Die Injektionsnadel 21 führt nun durch die zentrale Bohrung in der Gummidichtung 33 und hat einen stufenweise erweiterten Außendurchmesser. Auf der untersten Stufe 39 steht eine Druckfeder 40, die oben an der Schulter 41 am Nippel 38 ansteht. Wird die Nadelspitze 21 in die Nachfüllkanüle 16 am Schreiber 1 eingesteckt, so liegt die Gummidichtung 33 am Kanülenrand an. Wird dann der Behälter 20 weiter in Richtung zum Schreiber hin gedrückt, so wird die Injektionsnadel 21 gegen die Kraft der Druckfeder 40 durch die Gummidichtung 33 hindurch weiter nach vorne geschoben und durchstößt die Gummimembrane 13 in der Nachfüllkanüle 16 des Schreibers 1. Dabei wird die Gummidichtung 33 über die Injektionsnadel 21 zurückgeschoben, indem die Hülse 37 und der Nippel 38 mit der darin gehaltenen Gummidichtung 33 innerhalb des Führungsröhrchens 34 nach hinten verschoben werden. Dadurch wird die seitliche Ausgießöffnung 44 der Bohrung 29 an der Injektionsnadel 21, der im entspannten Zustand der Feder von der Gummidichtung 33 dicht verschlossen wird, freigelegt, und Tinte kann aus dem Behälter 20 nachfließen. Gleichzeitig hat sich der Mündungsschlitz 32 der Bohrung 45 für die Entlüftung, welche von der Spitze der Injektionsnadel ausgeht und radial aus der Injektionsnadel führt, in die Position gegenüber der Entlüftungsbohrung 43 in der Gummidichtung 33 verschoben. Daher kann jetzt durch diese Bohrung 45 und ihren Mündungsschlitz 21 die infolge der nachgefüllten Tinte im Vorratstank 3 des Schreibers verdrängte Luft entweichen.FIG. 3 shows the structure of the injection needle 21 on the refill container 20 using a longitudinal section. A rubber seal 33 is seated in this sleeve 37, which in turn is acted upon by a nipple 38. This rubber seal 33 has a radial vent hole 43 on one side. The injection needle 21 now leads through the central bore in the rubber seal 33 and has a gradually enlarged outer diameter. On the lowest step 39 there is a compression spring 40, which abuts the shoulder 41 on the nipple 38. If the needle tip 21 is inserted into the refill cannula 16 on the pen 1, the rubber seal 33 rests on the cannula rim. If the container 20 is then pushed further towards the pen, the injection needle 21 is pushed further forward against the force of the compression spring 40 through the rubber seal 33 and pierces the rubber membrane 13 in the refill cannula 16 of the pen 1. The rubber seal becomes 33 pushed back over the injection needle 21 by sliding the sleeve 37 and the nipple 38 with the rubber seal 33 held therein within the guide tube 34 to the rear. As a result, the lateral pouring opening 44 of the bore 29 on the injection needle 21, which is sealed by the rubber seal 33 in the relaxed state of the spring, is exposed, and ink can flow out of the container 20. At the same time, the mouth slot 32 of the bore 45 for ventilation, which starts from the tip of the injection needle and leads radially out of the injection needle, has moved into the position opposite the ventilation bore 43 moved in the rubber seal 33. Therefore, the air displaced as a result of the refilled ink in the storage tank 3 of the pen can now escape through this bore 45 and its orifice slot 21.

Wie das Nachfüllen in Bezug auf die nötigen Manipulationen vor sich geht, zeigt die Figur 4. Der Nachfüllbehälter 20 wird auf das Ende des Schreibers 1 aufgesteckt, indem die Hülse 23 mit ihren Rillen 24 oder Nuten 25 passend auf das ebenfalls mit Nuten 26 oder Rillen 27 versehene Ende des Schreibers 1 aufgesteckt wird. Beim weiteren Zusammenschieben des Nachfüllbehälters 20 und des Schreibers 1 findet die Gummidichtung 33, in welcher die Nadel 21 sitzt, mit ihrer Schulter 36 an der Kanüle 16 einen Anschlag. Durch weiteres Zusammendrücken von Nachfüllbehälter 20 und Schreiber 1 gegen die im Führungsröhrchen 34 wirkende Federkraft wird die Injektionsnadel 21 in die Kanüle 16 geschoben und sie durchsticht die darin sitzende Gummimembran 13. Weil damit die Injektionsnadel 21 aus der Gummidichtung 33 herausgeschoben wird, ist die Verbindung zwischen Nachfüllbehälter 20 und Vorratstank 3 geschaffen. Gleichzeitig ist eine Verbindung zwischen dem Vorratstank 3 und der Entlüftungsbohrung 43 in der Gummidichtung 33 geschaffen, so daß die Entlüftung des Vorratstanks 3 beim Einfüllen erfolgen und somit das Nachfüllen funktionieren kann. Hierzu wird jetzt von hinten auf den Balg 22 gedrückt, wodurch die Schreibflüssigkeit vom Nachfüllbehälter 20 in den Vorratstank 3 des Schreibers gedrückt wird. Am Sichtfenster 17 des Schreibers 1 läßt sich das Befüllen beobachten, so daß nicht überfüllt wird. Sobald die Befüllung abgeschlossen ist, wird der Behälter mit der Injektionsnadel 21 vom hinteren Ende des Schreibers 1 abgezogen und der Schreiber ist wieder bereit zum Schreiben. Die Gummimembrane 13 verschließt wieder die Kanüle 16 und die Ausgießöffnung 44 an der Injektionsnadel 21 verschwindet wieder dicht in der Gummidichtung 33.FIG. 4 shows how the refilling takes place in relation to the necessary manipulations. The filling can be observed at the viewing window 17 of the recorder 1, so that there is no overfilling. As soon as the filling is complete, the container with the injection needle 21 is withdrawn from the rear end of the pen 1 and the pen is ready for writing again. The rubber membrane 13 closes the cannula 16 again and the pouring opening 44 on the injection needle 21 disappears again tightly in the rubber seal 33.

Als Variante zum individuellen Nachfüllbehälter kann dieser für die Schule auch als Kollektiv-Nachfüllbehälter 30 ausgeführt sein, welcher zum Beispiel irgendwo im Schulzimmer seinen festen Platz hat, indem er zum Beispiel in einen Schrank eingebaut oder an einer Wand montiert ist, wie das in Figur 5 gezeigt ist. Für diese Montage weist der Nachfüllbehälter eine spezielle Montagevorrichtung auf. Die Montagelage ist dabei so, daß die Injektionsnadel mit Hülse 23 nach unten zeigt. Damit die Flüssigkeit in seinem Innern zusätzlich zum wirkenden hydrostatischen Druck unter einen erhöhten Druck gebracht werden kann, um die Befüllung eines Schreibers zu beschleunigen, kann zum Beispiel ein von außen abgedichteter Druckkolben ins Behälterinnere geschoben werden. Zum Befüllen eines Schreibers muß dieser bloß von unten in die Hülse 23 eingeführt werden und hernach nach oben gedrückt werden, bis die Befüllung abgeschlossen ist. Claims (10)

  1. A refillable fluid writing implement with a supply reservoir (3) for supplying a writing tip (4) with a writing fluid, with a hollow channel (16) extending into the supply reservoir from outside and being interrupted by a valve in the form of a rubber membrane (13) having a fine central hole which in the relaxed condition of the rubber membrane (13) is tightly closed and is intended to receive an injection needle (21) of a refill container (20) that is adapted to be connected up to the supply reservoir from outside for a refill, characterized in that the supply reservoir (3) is provided additionally to a writing reservoir (2) from which writing fluid is fed to the writing tip (4), that the writing reservoir (2) is refillable from the supply reservoir (2) by means of a connection operating as a valve (6), that the supply reservoir (3) is larger than the writing reservoir (2) from which it is separated by means of a separating wall (5) having a central opening (8), with the rim of the opening (8) being configured as a valve seat, and that a valve disk (7) mounted on a valve rod (9) extending in the direction of the end of the writing implement is seated in the opening (8), the valve rod carrying at its end a push-button (10) operable from the outside of the writing implement (1) and sealed off with respect to the inside of the supply reservoir (3), with the push-button (10) being returnable to its initial position.
  2. The fluid writing implement as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the push-button (10) is loaded by a compression spring from the inside.
  3. The fluid writing implement as claimed in any one of the claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the writing implement (1) has shaped end portions (26, 27) suitable for positive engagement with a push-on sleeve (23) of a refill container (20), within which sleeve the injection needle (21) extends.
  4. The fluid writing implement according to the prior-art portion of claim 1, characterized in that the supply reservoir (3) is provided additionally to a writing reservoir (2) from which writing fluid is fed to the writing tip (4), that the writing reservoir (2) is refillable from the supply reservoir (2) through a connection operating as a valve (6), that the supply reservoir (3) is larger than the writing reservoir (2) from which it is separated by means of a separating wall (5) configured as a valve disk which is in sealing engagement with a portion of the wall converging conically towards the end of the writing implement, and that the valve disk is mounted on a valve rod extending in the direction of the end of the writing implement, the valve rod carrying at its end a push-button operable from the outside of the writing implement and sealed off with respect to the inside of the supply reservoir, with the push-button being loaded by a compression spring from the inside.
  5. A combination of a refillable fluid writing implement (1) as claimed in any one of the claims 1 to 4 and a refill container (20), with means (22) for pressurizing the writing fluid in the interior of the refill container and an injection needle (21) having a central bore (29), with the outlet opening (44) of the bore (29) being tightly sealed by a rubber seal (33) in the position of non-use, characterized in that the injection needle (21) extends within and along a sleeve (23) encasing it, the sleeve (23) being adapted to be push-fitted onto an end of the fluid writing implement (1) in positive engagement therewith, and that the refill container (20) includes means effecting venting of the supply reservoir (3) during the filling in of writing fluid.
  6. The combination as claimed in claim 5, characterized in that the injection needle (21) is enclosed by a spring-loaded rubber seal (33) tightly closing the needle outlet opening (44), the outlet opening (44) being exposed by pushing back the rubber seal (33) against the force of the spring over the injection needle (21).
  7. The combination as claimed in any one of the claims 5 or 6, characterized in that the injection needle (21) includes a vent bore (45) separated from the central bore (29), and that the mouth (32) of the vent bore (45) communicates with a radial vent bore (43) in the rubber seal (33).
  8. The combination as claimed in any one of the claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the means (22) for pressurising the writing fluid are provided in that the container (20) forms a bellows (22) whose rear end is intended to function as a pressure-application surface and as a bearing surface of the container (20).
  9. The combination as claimed in any one of the claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the means for pressurising the writing fluid are provided in that a plunger is adapted to be pushed into the interior of the container from the outside.
  10. The combination as claimed in any one of the claims 5 to 9, characterized in that the container is configured as a collective refill container (30) for several users and includes a mounting device for mounting it on a wall.
