Dieses bekannte Möbelscharnier setzt jedoch eine so große Länge des Scharnierarms und der Befestigungsplatte voraus, daß der Scharnierarm längs verschieblich auf der Befestigungsplatte gelagert werden kann. Cabinet hinge with a preferably cup-like moving hinge part (40), which may be fixed to a door or flap and is connected by at least one link pin (46, 46') to form an articulated joint with a hinge arm (1) which can be connected by a fixing plate (4, 5) featuring a web portion (7, 16) to a supporting wall (3), said hinge arm (1) being lockable by a set screw (26) which is screwed into said hinge arm (1) and is also connected to the fixing plate (4, 5) to facilitate rotation while axially fixed for lateral adjustment of the door (42), or vertical adjustment of the flap, around a pivot (35) located transverse to the fixing plate (4, 5) so as to enable rotation and fixing at various angular positions relative to said fixing plate (4, 5),
    characterised in that
    the fixing plate (4, 5) features perpendicular to the web portion (7, 16) an angled arm (21), said arm (21) being provided with an oblong hole (22), the centreline of which is perpendicular to said web portion and intersects with the centreline of an oblong hole (47) in the joint-side end section of the hinge arm (1), with the planes of the two oblong holes (22, 47) running parallel to each other and perpendicular to the pivot (35),
    in the installed condition of the cabinet hinge, the angled arm (21) partially protrudes beyond the end face (48) of the supporting wall (3) or of an end frame, and the oblong hole (22) of the angled arm (21) runs parallel to the end face (48),
    the link pin (46, 46') is retained in the oblong holes (22, 47), and
    the oblong hole (47) in the joint-side end section of the hinge arm (1) runs transverse or diagonal to oblong hole (22) of arm (21) of the fixing plate (45) such that the link pin (46) is shifted in the oblong hole (22) of said arm (21) when the hinge arm (1) is rotated.
  2. Cabinet hinge according to Claim 1, characterised in that the moving hinge part is connected by two linkages, with link pins arranged at rectangles or in a trapezoidal pattern, to the hinge arm, and that the hinge arm-side link pins are guided in the oblong holes of the fixing plate which are parallel to the end face, and in the oblong holes of the hinge arm which intersects these.
  3. Cabinet hinge according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the inner link pin (45) is secured in holes of the hinge arm (44), and only the outer hinge arm-side link pin (46) is retained at the intersecting guides (22, 47) of the hinge arm (1) and of the fixing plate (4, 5), and that the inner link pin (45) is arranged in relation to the pivot (35) of the hinge arm (1) such that, on rotation of said hinge arm (1), it executes a motion which is essentially parallel to the centreline of oblong hole (22) in arm (21) of the fixing plate.
  4. Cabinet hinge according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the oblong holes (22, 47) are arranged in fork legs (17, 32) of the fixing plate and of the hinge arm (1).
  5. Cabinet hinge according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the fixing plate (2) consists of a base plate (4) and an intermediate plate (5).
  6. Cabinet hinge according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the hinge arm (1) can be rotated on the intermediate plate (5) and is mounted such that it may be fixed at various angular positions.
  7. Cabinet hinge according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the intermediate plate (5) is mounted on the base plate (4) so that it may be longitudinally shifted and fixed.
  8. Cabinet hinge according to Claim 7, characterised in that a self-locking cam mechanism (13) is provided for the longitudinal displacement of the intermediate plate on the base plate.
