Die Seitenfläche 25 ist axial speziell ausgebildet. Sie weist in regelmäßigen Abständen l1 kammartig angeordnete Zinken 28 von einer Breite b2, z. B. 1,5 mm, und einer Länge l2, von z. B. 60 mm, auf. Die Breite b2 bzw. die Länge l2 entspricht hierbei der Breite b1 bzw. dem Abstand a1 der Taschen 7, so daß die Nut 18 im Bereich der Zinken 28 völlig verschlossen ist. Eine Außenfläche 29 der Zinken 28 ist jeweils ebenfalls der Kontur der Mantelfläche 6 des Zylinders 1 angepaßt und setzt somit die Mantelfläche 6 praktisch übergangslos fort. Somit ist die Nut 18 axial gesehen nicht durchgehend, sondern die Mantelfläche 6 des Zylinders 1 ist mit Taschen 7 der Breite b1 und Länge l1 im Abstand a1 versehen. Die Befestigungslaschen 33, 34 des Druckanfanges 16 und Druckendes 17 liegen nahe beieinander und bilden sich in axialer Richtung erstreckende, unterbrochene Stoßstellen 41, während die Zungen 37 neben den Stoßstellen 41 eine Anzahl von Brücken bilden, welche verhindern, daß die Stoßstellen 41 druckbildschädlich zur Wirkung kommen. Zweite, durch Enden der Zungen 37 und Enden der Einschnitte 38 gebildete Stoßstellen 42 erstrecken sich ebenfalls in axialer Richtung. Die ersten Stoßstellen 41 sind zu den zweiten Stoßstellen 42 in Umfangsrichtung des Zylinders 1 versetzt. Außerdem werden sie durch die neben ihnen liegenden, unmittelbar benachtbarten Befestigungslaschen 33 auf der Mantelfläche 6 des Zylinders 1 auf liegenden Teiles der Platte 2 überbrückt. Das Verhältnis von der Summe sämtlicher Breiten b6 der Zungen 37 zu der Summe sämtlicher Breiten b3 der Befestigungslasche 33, 34 beträgt ca. 0,5 bis 1,5, vorzugsweise 1. D. h. der durchgehende Traganteil der Platte 1 beträgt im Bereich der Stoßstellen 39, 41 jeweils vorzugsweise 50%.
Außerdem ist es möglich, daß die Befestigungslaschen 33, 34 der Platte 2 mit Klemm- und / oder Spanneinrichtungen, die unterhalb der Taschen 7 oder neben den Taschen 7 angeordnet sind, zusammen wirken und im Inneren des Zylinders 1 festgehalten werden.

Claims (6)

  1. Flexible plate (2) with bent ends (3; 4) for mounting on a cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, its bent ends (3; 4) respectively being provided with mounting straps (33; 34) arranged like a comb and there being provided between the mounting straps (33; 34), in alternating fashion, respective cutouts (31; 32) which are arranged, at one end (3) of the plate (2), in a manner extending into the plate (2), as indentations (39) starting from a bend line (38) of the mounting straps (33), characterised in that tongues (37) continuing the plate beyond a bend line (36) of the mounting straps (34) are provided, at least at a second end (4) of the plate (2), between the mounting straps (34), in that the tongues (37) and the indentations (39) are adapted to one another, in that tongues (37) and indentations (39) are arranged to interlock like teeth, in the mounted state, in that a length (l6) of the tongues (37) is at least of a length such that the tongues (37) at least cover an axial opening of a width (b7) of a curved surface (6) of the cylinder (1) for introducing the mounting straps (33; 34), and in that an opening angle (gamma) of the mounting straps (34) at the trailing end (17) and an opening angle (delta) of the mounting straps (33) at the leading end (16) are constructed as supplementary angles.
