Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Rohrbiegemaschine kann der Schwenkarm um volle 180° verschwenkt werden und die Biegewerkzeuge sind derart ausgebildet, daß sie sowohl für Rechtsbiegen als auch für Linksbiegen geeignet sind. Demnach kann ein Rohr wahlweise von der linken oder der rechten Seite an die Biegeschablone angesetzt werden. Für Rechtsbiegung und für Linksbiegung ist jeweils eine separate Gleitschiene vorgesehen, die als Widerlager bzw. seitliche Abstützung für den nicht zu biegenden Rohrabschnitt dient. Ein Rohr kann mit der erfindungsgemäßen Rohrbiegemaschine sowohl mit einer Rechtsbiegung als auch mit einer Linksbiegung versehen werden, wobei es auch möglich ist, das Rohr zuvor um die Längsachse der Rohreinspanneinrichtung zu drehen. Wenn sich ergibt, daß ein bereits vorgebogenes Rohr bei Rechtsbiegung in eine Form gebracht wird, in der es mit Teilen der Rohrbiegemaschine kollidiert, kann das Rohr gegen die entgegengesetzte Seite der Biegeschablone gesetzt und in Linksbiegung verformt werden.
