Description

The invention relates to a shower, in particular a hand shower, for shower and bathing facilities with a water supply channel and a shower head arranged on the water supply channel, which has a plurality of jet nozzles generating shower jets, which can be connected to the water supply channel by rotating the shower head about its longitudinal axis.

The invention has for its object to design the shower specified in the preamble of claim 1 so that a simple and safe assembly of the shower head is made possible, it being part of the task to design the shower parts with their connecting elements to save space and to prevent the shower base from bending keep.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a pot-shaped shower base which supports the jet nozzles is provided, which is positively connected on the upstream end face to a water guide disc on the jacket region, and in that a pin is provided concentrically with the longitudinal axis in the shower head and onto which the water guide disc is attached With a through hole can be slid on, the water guide disc being axially fixed in the plug-in position by a rotatably received shaped disc on a polygonal profile of the pin, in such a way that the shaped disc can be clamped against an end wall of the polygonal profile with a screw that can be screwed into the pin.
Further refinements of the invention are specified in claims 2 to 8.

Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Ausbildung wird insbesondere erreicht:

The training according to the invention achieves in particular:
  • 1. The shower base with the water guide disc on the one hand and on the other hand the water guide channel with pin and handle housing can be completely preassembled as an assembly.
  • 2. The fastening screw, which is secured against loosening by means of a shaped washer, enables simple and problem-free fastening of the assemblies, and after assembly, the fastening screw can be covered in an appealing manner with a cover cap.
  • 3. The positive connection on the jacket area of the water guide plate ensures that bending of the shower base is largely excluded by the water pressure acting on the inner surface of the shower base. The connection between the shower base and the water guide disc can advantageously be achieved with resilient tongues arranged in a ring, the connection being snapped by means of oblique or sharp-edged ones The tongues are undercut. For this purpose, a chamfer with a bevel angle of 45 o to 90 o can be provided. The snap connection can be designed so that only a precisely defined position is possible, for example by arranging a cam in the jacket area of the water guide disc, which is received by a certain slot between the snap tongues in order to ensure a specific, specific installation position. The components connected to one another by the snap tongues can be secured against opening by a clamping ring, for example made of metal, which is pushed over the snap tongues on the outside, so that a positive connection of the two parts is ensured.
  • 4. The annular arrangement of the snap tongues allows the inner surfaces of the shower base to be divided favorably, the jet formers preferably producing a relatively hard massage jet in the inner ring, while a soft shower jet can be generated on the outer ring, for example.

The hand shower shown in the drawing consists of a shower head 1, a handle 2 and a water duct 3 to which the water supply can be connected (not shown in the drawing).
The shower head 1 is assembled from two assemblies. The first assembly is formed by the water guide channel 3 with a bell-shaped receptacle 31 which is fastened to the housing of the shower head 1 with screws 32. In the receptacle 31, a pin 13 is welded to its flange ring. The pin 13 is arranged coaxially in the shower head 1. A polygonal profile 131 in the form of a hexagon is formed on the downstream end face. In addition, a coaxial threaded bore 133 is provided on the downstream end face. In addition, the receptacle 31 has a lip sealing ring 33 in the outer ring region.
The second assembly is essentially formed by a pot-like shower base 11 and a water guide disc 12 connected to the shower base 11 in a form-fitting manner. In the shower base 11, jet nozzles 10 are arranged on bolt circles, a bolt circle being connected to an outer ring chamber 101 and a further bolt circle being connected to an inner ring chamber 102.
On the inner end face of the shower base 11, between the outer annular chamber 101 and the inner annular chamber 102 of the jet nozzles 10, a ring extension 111 is formed, at the end region of which snap tongues 112 are provided.
On the outer surface of the water guide plate 12, an annular collar 122 is also formed, which is dimensioned such that the water guide plate 12 can be inserted into the ring shoulder 111 with a sealing ring 124, the water guide plate 12 being locked in place by the snap tongues 112. The snap tongues 112 lie here with end faces 1122 formed approximately perpendicular to the central axis on the end face of the annular collar 122. To enable easy assembly, the snap tongues 112 have a chamfer 1123. For the rotationally fixed connection, a cam 1221 is also formed on the outer wall of the collar 122, which engages in a gap between the snap tongues 112. To secure the snap tongues 112 in their locking position, a metal clamping ring 123 can also be pressed onto the outer wall in a locking groove 1121, so that the shower base 11 is positively and tightly connected to the water guide disc 12.
The two assemblies of the shower head 1 can be assembled separately and assembled at a later time. When assembling, the water guide disk 12 is pushed axially onto the pin 13 with a through hole 121 until the end face comes into contact with a sealing disk 134 which is non-rotatably held on the pin 13. The sealing disk 134 has passage openings on a bolt circle for the shower water brought up in the water guide channel 3. On a corresponding circle of holes 12 inlet openings for the shower water are provided on the end face of the water guide disk, which are arranged so that the inner annular chamber 102 with brew optionally by rotating the shower base about its central axis is acted upon by water or both the inner and outer chambers 101, 102 are acted upon by the shower water.
Coaxial to the through-hole 121, the shower base 11 has a larger-diameter bore 113 through which a metal shaped disk 14 can be pushed onto the polygonal profile 131 designed as a hexagon, so that it is connected to the pin 13 in a rotationally fixed manner in the plug-in position. For axial securing, a fastening screw 15 is then screwed into the threaded bore 133, which presses the shaped disk 14 against an end wall 132 of the polygonal profile 131 and thus fixes it axially. The length of the pin 13 is dimensioned such that the water guide disc 12 can be rotated by the user together with the shower base 11 with an adjusting lever 103. To seal the wall of the bore 113 to the fastening screw 15, the screw head is designed as a cylinder head and has an annular groove 151 in its wall, in which an O-ring 152 is arranged. The cylinder head of the fastening screw 15 is dimensioned such that it is completely sunk in the bore 113 and the outer region is covered by a cap 153, for example for aesthetic reasons.
In the assembled state of the shower head 1, the outer annular chamber 101 is sealed with the lip sealing ring 33 against the outer wall of the shower base 11 and the receptacle 31. In addition, the water guide plate 12 is also sealed to the wall of the receptacle 31 with a lip sealing ring 125.
