Description

The invention relates to a slatted frame according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a slatted frame is described in EP-A-0 150 873. The spring element is bent from spring steel. Its one broad spring arm lies essentially flat above the top of the longitudinal spar, the second spring arm is curved in a step-like manner, and between these two spring arms there is a rubber-elastic insert. Bearing caps, in which the lateral ends of the slats are inserted, sit positively with recesses in short spring end sections.

Due to this design of the spring element, the two slat ends held by it spring through essentially identically. There is also no elastic tilting of the slats around their longitudinal axes.

Auf deren Enden sind getrennte kappenförmige Lagerelemente aufgesteckt, die jeweils ein Lattenende aufnehmen.DE-U-89 05 911 describes a slatted frame in which fastening pins of spring elements are inserted into bores on the inner surface of the longitudinal grating bar, each carrying two spring arms running in the longitudinal direction of the grating. Separate cap-shaped bearing elements are attached to their ends, each receiving a slat end.

Auf die freien Enden der Federstäbe ist ein Gummi-Lagerelement aufgesetzt, das ein nietähnliches, durch ein Loch einer Latte hindurchgeführtes Halteelement aufweist.DE-A-35 06 027 shows a slatted frame in which the slat ends are each mounted on the longitudinal grating bar by spring elements which have two U-shaped spring bars. These are held together by a rubber element, through which the four legs of the two spring bars extend. On the free ends of the spring bars a rubber bearing element is attached, which has a rivet-like holding element passed through a hole in a slat.

Die lattenseitigen Enden der Federelemente tragen jeweils ein angeformtes Lagerelement, welches als in eine Bohrung der Latte eingreifender Spreizdübel ausgebildet ist.DE-U-86 11 539 shows a slatted frame in which the slats are individually connected to the grating longitudinal spar by means of integral spring elements connected to their ends. The ends of the spring elements on the slat side each carry an integrally formed bearing element, which is designed as an expansion plug which engages in a bore in the slat.

In diese offenen Nuten zweier benachbarter Latten greift jeweils eine vom Rostlängsholm getragene breite Blattfeder ein.FR-A-1 220 565 discloses a slatted frame in which the slats are provided with open grooves on the adjacent longitudinal edges. In each of these open grooves of two adjacent slats, a broad leaf spring supported by the longitudinal bar of the grille engages.

The present invention is intended to develop a slatted frame according to the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that the slats held by a spring element can deflect independently of one another and, moreover, can independently tilt elastically about their longitudinal axis.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a slatted frame according to claim 1.

The one-piece design of the spring element made of plastic provided in the invention is advantageous on the one hand with regard to simple and inexpensive production. In addition, spring elements molded from plastic work less noisily if they come into contact with themselves or with a frame part or a slat during strong deflection.

The molding of cap-shaped end sections onto the bearing elements, as proposed according to the invention, is advantageous with regard to simple and reliable attachment of the slats to the spring elements.

Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen sind in Unteransprüchen angegeben.Advantageous further developments are specified in the subclaims.

The development of the invention according to claim 2 brings on the one hand an additional soft suspension of the slat ends, on the other hand is also advantageous in terms of low noise during compression and rebound.

With a slatted frame according to claim 3, there is an additional rubber block suspension when the cap-shaped bearing elements approach the longitudinal frame beam. A hard hit would again be disadvantageous in terms of comfort but also in terms of the development of noise.

In the case of a slatted frame according to claim 4, the slat ends or their bearing elements can practically lie with their end faces in the side face of the frame. In this way, a practically continuous slatted surface is achieved with a double bed.

In a slatted frame according to claim 5, the spring characteristic of the individual slats can be easily adapted by the user to his needs. The additionally provided stop element does not require any appreciably higher manufacturing costs for the slat bearing.

The development of the invention according to claim 6 is advantageous with regard to a large spring travel of the spring element, with the end of the spring arm at the same time attacks on the outer section of the cap-shaped bearing element, where the tilt axis for the cap-shaped bearing element receiving a slat end also lies.

A slatted frame according to claim 7 is characterized by a mechanically particularly simple removal.

With the developments of the invention according to claims 8 and 9, an additional spring component is obtained which is effective in deflecting the crossbar, without this requiring additional space.

Here, the developments of the invention according to claims 10 and 11 are advantageous in terms of simple and secure fixing of the additional tension springs at the end of the slat and in view of low manufacturing costs.

A slatted base according to claim 12 can be produced simply by pushing the mounting pins of the spring elements into correspondingly spaced receiving bores in the inside of the longitudinal frame members. Additional fasteners such as screws or the like are not required.

With a slatted frame according to claim 13 it is ensured that the stiffness of the storage of the slat ends can be adjusted by the user in a manner protected against unintentional changes.

In the case of a slatted frame according to claim 14, it is ensured that the force transmission between the stop element and the associated spring arm does not generate any force in the direction of displacement of the stop element.

The development of the invention according to claim 15 is in With regard to the largest possible adjustment range of the stiffness of the slat bearing arrangement, this is an advantage.

In a slatted frame according to claim 16, the bending and torsion behavior of the upper legs of the spring arms is not impaired by the elevations cooperating with the stop elements.

In the case of a slatted frame according to claim 17, the size and geometry of the cavity provided in the lower spring section can be used to easily specify the size of the adjustable additional suspension provided by the stop element.

The development of the invention according to claim 18 is advantageous with regard to a rolling of the stop elements on the upper spring arm legs and thus with regard to good rotatability of the slats about their longitudinal axis. In connection with a cavity provided in the lower section of the stop element according to claim 17, there is a further advantage that the lower webs of elastic material predetermined by the cavity are only subjected to bending and kinking, the longitudinal axis of these webs already being unloaded from the Articulated axis is deflected.

With the development of the invention according to claim 19, a small restoring torque is obtained for the slats in the horizontal rest position.

In a slatted frame according to claim 20, two or more adjacent slats are coupled to a smaller extent via a rubber spring, which in particular also results in vibration damping due to the loss factor of the rubber material from which the stop elements are made.

According to claim 21, on the one hand, the connecting section can be given essentially the same height as the retaining sections of the stop elements encompassing the slats, which is advantageous in terms of easy handling of the stop elements when adjusting and in terms of easy cleaning, while maintaining the size and geometry of the recesses can specify the strength of the coupling and the vibration damping in the bending section.

A geometry of the connecting section, as specified in claim 22, is advantageous with regard to good damping of rotations of the slats about their longitudinal axis.

With a slatted frame according to claim 23 it is ensured that even a full deflection of the spring elements does not lead to undesirable noise.

The developments of the invention according to claims 24 and 25 are advantageous with regard to a simple and non-rotatable attachment of the buffer elements on the associated buffer seats.

Der Längsholm 10 trägt über insgesamt mit 12 bezeichnete Federelemente Latten 14.In Figures 1 and 2, 10 denotes a longitudinal spar of a slatted frame. The longitudinal spar 10 carries slats 14 over a total of 12 spring elements.

The spring elements 12 each have a lower fastening section 16, which on the outside has two mounting pins 18, 20 spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the bar. The latter engage in blind bores 22 which spring back from the inside of the longitudinal spar 10.

Two spring arms 24, 26 are formed on the fastening section 16, each of which has an essentially V-shaped shape, the tip of the V pointing to the longitudinal center plane of the grate. Each spring arm has a lower leg 28 which rises obliquely upwards and inwards and an upper leg 30 which rises obliquely outwards and upwards. The latter has a more steeply rising end section 32, on which a bearing cap 34 is formed. This has, in the unloaded state, essentially in the horizontal direction and towards the longitudinal center plane of the grate open recess 36 into which a rubber-elastic damper cap 38 is inserted in a form-fitting manner. The latter has a recess 40 in which the end of the crossbar 14 is seated in a form-fitting manner.

At the ends of the recess 36, downwardly extending windows 42, 44 are provided, through which an extension 46 of the associated damper cap 38 extends.

The upper side of the longitudinal bar 10 is set at an angle which corresponds to the setting angle of the leg end section 32, as shown at 48.

The spring element 12 is a one-piece plastic injection molded part made of a polyacetal material or another plastic material suitable for long-term suspension.

If the crossbar 14 is loaded exactly vertically, the V-shaped spring arm 24 is compressed, both legs 28 and 30 being loaded, so that the tip of the spring arm also moves downward. Because of the bevel 48 of the longitudinal spar 10, there is a large vertical spring travel with a compact vertical dimension of the grate. With strong deflection, the shoulders 46 of the damper caps 38 come into contact with the bevel 48 before the underside of the leg end section 32 strikes the bevel 48. In this way, end position damping and low noise are obtained.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, parts which correspond to the parts already described above functionally are again provided with the same reference numerals. They do not need to be described again in detail below.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the end section 32 of the upper leg 30 of the spring arms 24, 26 is cranked, so that on the one hand no bevel 48 is required on the longitudinal spar 10 and on the other hand the upper leg 30 of the spring arms 24, 26 runs more parallel to the crossbar 14.

A rubber-elastic stop element 50 is slidably clipped onto each leg 30, which on the one hand itself has spring properties and on the other hand specifies the effective lever arm of the spring arms 24, 26. If the stop element 50 is in the extended position shown in FIG. 3, the slatted bearing has an overall softer spring characteristic. In the position of the stop body 50 shown in broken lines in FIG. 3, the spring characteristic is harder.

If you turn the leg 30 even more than shown in Figure 3, you have a first part of the spring travel, in which the entire spring arm is active, while then only after the stop element 50 comes into contact with the underside of the crossbar 14 a shortened part of the spring arm becomes active, which results in the greater rigidity of the spring element.

In the slat bearing arrangement shown in FIG. 5, the spring arms 24, 26 run straight upwards and inwards. At their free ends, tab-shaped end sections 52, 54 are formed, which overlap the side surfaces of the crossbar 14 with little play. On the end sections 52, 54 bearing journals 56, 58 are formed, which engage in grooves 60, 62 which are provided in the slat side surfaces and extend in the longitudinal direction of the slat.

The slat bearing arrangement according to FIG. 5 is also characterized by a large spring travel and has a mechanically particularly simple structure.

The slat bearing shown in Figure 6 corresponds to The basic principle of that according to FIG. 5, only the journals 56, 58 engage in openings 64, 66, which are provided in the free ends of the legs 68, 70 of a U-shaped rubber spring, denoted overall by 72. The legs 68, 70 are positioned in lateral grooves 74 of the slats 14 and connected by a base section 76 of the rubber spring 72, which lies over the free end face of the slat 14.

When the slat is deflected, the legs 68, 70 form tension springs, the spring action of which is added to that of the spring arms 24, 26.

A bottom section 78 of the rubber spring 72 drawn over the lower edge of the slat 14 can again form an elastic stop, which comes into engagement with the upper side of the longitudinal bar 10 when the slat is strongly deflected.

The embodiment according to FIG. 7 corresponds in principle to the connection according to FIG. 6 in terms of the interconnection of two spring systems, only the rubber spring loaded under tension has only a single leg 68, which runs along the underside of the crossbar 14. The base section 76 is again designed as a cap, in which a damper cap 38 is inserted.

The free end of the leg 68 is designed as a groove-shaped joint socket 80 and works together with a joint rib 82, which is molded onto the end of a spring arm.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 to 16, components which have already been described above are again provided with the same reference symbols.

As can be seen from FIGS. 8 and 9, the upper wall of the bearing cap 34 is thickened in the shape of a conical section towards the inner free end. In practice, the height of this thickening can be approximately 1 mm. In this way it is achieved that slat ends with small manufacturing tolerances in the vertical direction are equally well held firmly in the bearing cap 34.

A total of 84 labeled rubber spring can be moved on two adjacent slats in the longitudinal direction of the slats. It has two holding sections 86, 88, each of which surround a slat 14 in a light press fit. The holding sections 86, 88 are connected by a bending section 90 which is of substantially the same height as the holding sections 86, 88. As can be seen from FIGS. 13 and 14, two recesses 92 jump back from the two end faces of the rubber spring 84, between which a Web 94 remains. The recesses 92 are provided at the lower end of the bending section 90, so that the latter has a narrow lower web 96 and a wider upper web 98. The latter is delimited at the top by an arcuate edge recess 100.

The holding sections 86, 88 can thus be tilted relative to one another about an axis which is perpendicular to the drawing plane of FIG. 13 and which lies in the region of the upper broad web 98. With such a tilt against one another, the middle, vertical web 94 and the lower, horizontal web 98 are subjected to tension in one direction of tilt and pressure in the other direction of tilt. The upper horizontal web 98 essentially serves as a tilting bearing. The two holding sections 86, 88 can also be tilted relative to one another about an axis vertical in FIG. 13 which coincides with the center line.

As can be seen in particular from FIGS. 13 and 15, spring sections 102, 104 hanging downward are formed on the holding sections 86, 88. These are delimited on the outside by two arcuate surfaces 106, 108 and a lower flat surface 110.

Die Umfangswände der Ausnehmungen 112 verlaufen in wesentlichen parallel zu den Flächen 106 bis 110.Recesses 112 spring back from the two end faces of the spring sections 102, 104, between which a vertical web 114 remains. The peripheral walls of the recesses 112 run essentially parallel to the surfaces 106 to 110.

The flat lower surfaces 110 of the spring sections 102, 104 work together with elevations 116 which form stairs and are provided in a narrow central region of the transverse dimension of the upper legs 30 of the spring arms 24, 26. The pretensioning of the spring sections 102, 104 can be varied by adjusting the rubber spring 84 in the longitudinal direction of the slat. Here, the upper leg 30 of the spring arms 24, 26 receives a corresponding bias. Because of the step-like design of the elevations 116, it is ensured, even with load alternations, that no force is exerted on the rubber spring 84 in the longitudinal direction of the slats 14, which would lead to an unintentional adjustment of the rubber spring 84.

In practice, the spring element 12 is a one-piece plastic injection-molded part made of a polyacetal material or another plastic material suitable for long-term suspension. The twin rubber spring 84 is a one-piece molded rubber part with a Shore hardness of approximately 80.

As can be seen from the drawing, the bearing caps are located 34 of the spring elements 12 over the longitudinal spar 10, so that one obtains a slat reaching to the edge of the grate. This enables a practically continuous slatted surface for a double bed.

In order to ensure that the spring elements 12 bounce noiselessly against the upper side of the longitudinal spar 10, a seat plate 118 is formed on the essentially vertically rising leg end section 32 and has a positioning rib 120 on its upper side. A rubber buffer 122 shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 can be pushed onto the seat plate 118. For this purpose, it has a matching flat pocket 124, in the top wall of which a slot 126 matching the positioning rib 120 is provided. On both sides, the rubber buffers 122 have cylindrical spring sections 128, which ensure a progressive damping of the stop movement before the rubber buffers 122 are unblocked.

Due to the twin rubber springs 84, the hardness of the suspension of the slats can thus be easily adjusted locally by the user, the hardness once set being retained reliably even in continuous operation. Since the twin rubber spring 84 covers two slats, the adjustment work is simplified, since it only needs to be carried out for one pair of slats. In spite of this, a locally flexible adjustment of the hardness of the slat bearing is completely sufficient for practice. Combining two adjustable rubber springs into a single twin rubber spring also has the advantage that it creates a comfortable large contact surface for the hand of the user. Since the measures required to adjust the hardness of the slat bearing on the spring element 12 itself require practically no additional production costs, one and the same spring elements 12 can be used throughout for the Use the entire slatted frame, also for those grate sections in which it is not necessary to adjust the hardness of the slatted bedding.

If desired, the bearing caps 34 can also be provided offset to the outside of the longitudinal spars 10, as shown in broken lines in FIG. You can also provide slats reaching to the edge of the grate on a swiveling subframe, such as the one used e.g. is used on adjustable headboards.
