Ein Formzylinder 1 für Tiefdruck ist über seine Achszapfen 2, 3 und Lager 4, 5 in Seitenwänden 7, 8 eines Maschinengestells angeordnet. Oberhalb des Formzylinders 1 ist ein an den Formzylinder 1 anstellbarer bekannter Presseur 9 vorgesehen, welcher über seine Achszapfen 11, 12 und nicht dargestellte Lagerschuhe mit vertikal verlaufenden Führungsspindeln verbunden ist. Eine derartige Anstellvorrichtung ist z. B. in der DE 28 22 531 A dargestellt. Unterhalb des Formzylinders 1 befindet sich eine Farbwanne 13, welche neben Druckfarbe 14 noch eine von unten an eine Mantelfläche 6 des Formzylinders 1 anstellbare Andrückwalze 16 aufnimmt. Dabei können Rotationszentren 10, 15 des Formzylinders 1 sowie der Andrückwalze 16 sowohl auf einer Senkrechten 18 liegen als auch auf einer Geraden 20 oder 20.1, welche in einem Winkel ±α , vorzugsweise im Bereich von 2° bis 10° zur Senkrechten 18 verlaufen. Der Winkel α hat seinen Ursprung im Rotationszentrum 10 des Formzylinders 1. Der Winkel +α bezieht sich auf eine Drehrichtung des Formzylinders 1 im Uhrzeigersinn. Der Winkel -α erstreckt sich entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn und entspricht der Anordnung der Andrückwalze 16 bei Drehrichtungsumkehr des Formzylinders 1. Claims (8)
- An intaglio printing unit having an intaglio forme cylinder (1) which dips into a raisable and lowerable ink trough (13) filled with printing ink and which cooperates with an impression cylinder, and having an ink-application roller (19) which dips into the printing ink and cooperates with the intaglio forme cylinder (1), characterized in that within the ink trough (13) there is arranged an axially extending rotatable contact pressure roller (16) which acts from below on the outer surface (6) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1), supporting the latter, and dips into the printing ink, in that the contact pressure cylinder (16) is mounted to be rotatable in bearing blocks (22; 23) which are connected in fixed or resilient manner to a base surface (21) of the ink trough (13), and in that the ink application roller (19) is arranged laterally with respect to the contact pressure roller (16).
- An intaglio printing unit according to Claim 1, characterized in that the length (l) of the contact pressure roller (16) is less than the surface length (l1) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1).
- An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the contact pressure roller (16) is displaceable in the axial direction within the surface length (l1) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1).
- An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the contact pressure roller (16) is drivable by a separate motor.
- An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the centres of rotation (10, 15) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1) and the contact pressure roller (16) lie on a common vertical (18).
- An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the centres of rotation (10, 15) of the forme cylinder (1) and the contact pressure roller (16) lie on a straight line (20; 20.1) which runs at an angle (± α), having its origin in the centre of rotation (10) of the intaglio forme cylinder (1), to a vertical (18).
- An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the ink trough (13) is arranged to be raisable and lowerable by means of lifting apparatus (32).
- An intaglio printing unit according to Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the contact pressure cylinder (16) may be placed against the intaglio forme cylinder (1) by means of a placing system arranged in the ink trough (13).
